User’s Guide
ACC-7715-PS
Inline Charger
Regulatory Information
All AML devices are designed to be compliant with rules and regulations in
locations they are sold and will be labeled as required. Any changes or
modifications to AML equipment, not expressly approved by AML, could
void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
Power Supply
Use only an AML approved power supply, output rated 12 VDC and
minimum 2.5A. The PWR-8050 Power Supply is certified to EN60950.

Radio Frequency Interference Requirements
This equipment complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject
to the following two conditions: (1) This equipment may not cause harmful
interference, and (2) this equipment must accept any interference
received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a
Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference
when the equipment is operated in a residential environment. This
equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy, and
if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause
harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If you
determine the equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception (this may be determined by monitoring the interfer-
ence while turning the equipment off and on), you are encouraged to try
to correct the interference by one of the following measures:
· Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
· Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
· Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that
to which the receiver is connected.
· Consult the dealer or an experienced radio or TV technician for help.

Introduction
The ACC-7715-PS Inline Charger charges any M7700 Striker, M7800
Scepter, or M7800 Solo Mobile Computer.
About This Guide
This guide provides instructions on setting up and using the
ACC-7715-PS Inline Charger.
Set Up
Setting up the charger includes unpacking, connecting the power
supply, and attaching the charger to your device.
Unpacking the Charger
The shipping box includes the following:
· One ACC-7715-PS Inline Charger
· One PWR-8050US Power Supply (12 VDC, 2.5 A)
· This User’s Guide
Connecting the Power
The PWR-8050 power supply, included with the charger, is intended
for 120VAC operation.
To connect power to the charger:
1. Plug in the PWR-8050 power supply to a standard 120 VAC
electrical outlet.
2. Connect the plug on the end of the power supply into the round,
barrel-jack connector on the rear of the charger. Do NOT use the
USB port for charging.
3. The charger’s power LED, on the rear panel, will illuminate dim
green to indicate power is connected.
Charging
Attach the Inline Charger to the bottom of the M7700 Striker, M7800
Scepter, or M7800 Solo Mobile Computer and it will begin charging
immediately.

Charge faults:
1. Battery temperature too cold/hot
2. Battery over voltage
3. Charger too HOT
4. Safety timer expiration before
battery completely charged
5. Internal charger fault
6. Battery not installed in device

Communication Ports
The ACC-7715 Inline Charger has one communication port and
one power jack located on the rear of the charger. The charger
itself has no internal or external settings that can be changed.

How to Attach the Inline Charger
The Inline Charger should clip onto
the rear of the device as shown.
Make sure the AML logo on the rear
of the charger is not upside down.
