PLACE VECTOR ON THE CHARGER DOWNLOAD AND LAUNCH THE VECTOR APP
Once the download is complete, launch the app and follow
the final steps to connect to your Vector robot.
On your compatible device, browse
to the address on Vector’s face. Search Anki Vector in your device’s app store.

Vector responds to your voice. After setup, simply say “Hey Vector”
to activate him, and his backpack will light up when he hears his name.
Try some of these examples to get you started:

Check the app for more things Vector can understand.
If you’re having trouble getting Vector’s attention,
pause after saying “Hey Vector.”

TROUBLESHOOTING
•In the settings on your device, ensure Bluetooth and WiFi are active.
•Vector uses 2.4GHz WiFi. If your home WiFi setup is 5GHz only, you may need to adjust router settings.
•Refer to the Vector app for support and more information about using Vector.

FEHLERBEHEBUNG
•Stelle in den Einstellungen deines Geräts sicher, dass die Bluetooth-Funktion und die WLAN-Funktion aktiviert sind.
•Vector nutzt eine WLAN-Verbindung mit 2,4 GHz. Wenn dein WLAN nur das 5-GHz-Frequenzband unterstützt,
musst du möglicherweise die Router-Einstellungen anpassen.

BATTERY INFORMATION
Each Vector has a lithium polymer battery, which should only be recharged
using the included power cord and charging platform. Attempting to remove
the battery will void the warranty and may result in injury.
Protect the environment by not disposing of this product with household
waste. Check your local authority for recycling advice and facilities. Disposal,
recycling, and other environmental information related to Vector can be
found online at: anki.com/compliance.
This device contains licence-exempt transmitter(s)/receiver(s)
that comply with Innovation, Science and Economic Development
Canada’s licence-exempt RSS(s).

The symbol above means that according to local laws and regulations your
product should be disposed of separately from household waste. When
this product reaches its end of life, take it to a collection point designated
by local authorities. Some collection points accept products for free. The
separate collection and recycling of your product at the time of disposal will
help conserve natural resources and ensure that it is recycled in a manner

ENVIRONMENT
Operating temperature: 5°C to 30°C (41°F to 86°F)
Non-operating temperature: Below -20°C or above 40°C (below -4°F or
above 104°F)
Relative humidity: 5% to 95% non-condensing
Operating altitude: Up to 3000 meters
Using Vector in very cold conditions might temporarily shorten battery life
and could cause him to turn off. Battery life will return to normal when you
bring Vector back to higher ambient temperatures.
Using Vector in very hot conditions can permanently shorten battery life. Do
not expose Vector to high temperature conditions such as direct sunlight or
hot car interiors.
Avoid using Vector in areas with dust, dirt, or liquids as they can damage or
impede Vector’s gears and sensors.
MAINTENANCE
For best results, use indoors only. Never expose Vector to water. Vector is
built with no user serviceable parts. For optimal performance, keep Vector
and the sensors clean.
CAMERA / DISTANCE SENSOR
Lightly wipe Vector’s sensors (located on the face plate and chest) with a
lint-free cloth to remove any smudges or debris.
Avoid any contact or exposure that might scratch the lenses. Any damage to
the lenses has the potential to impair Vector’s capabilities.

CUBE BATTERIES
CAUTION - Batteries should only be replaced by an adult.
To replace Cube batteries, please follow these steps:
1. Loosen the screw using a Phillips head (PH1) screwdriver.
2. Open cover and remove the battery.
3. Replace battery with only 1.5 volt N type (910 LR1 1.5V, or E90 LR1 1.5V)
positive (+) side up (toward cover).
4. Replace cover and tighten screw. Do not overtighten the screws.
5. Lights will ash indicating that the battery is good and has been installed
correctly.
IMPORTANT CUBE BATTERY INFORMATION
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries.
• Please respect the correct polarity, (+) and (-).
• Do not try and recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Do not dispose of batteries into re.
• Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per state and local
guidelines.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the product.
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuit
• The charging unit should be regularly examined for potential hazard,
such as damage to the cable or cord, plug, enclosure of other parts and
if in the event of such damage, the product must not be used until that
damage had been properly removed.
WARRANTY
Your purchase comes with a one-year limited warranty in the US. For
consumers who are covered by consumer protection laws or regulations
in their country of purchase or, if different, their country of residence, the
benets conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies
conveyed by such consumer protection laws and regulations. The warranty
covers against manufacturing defects. It does not cover abuse, alteration,
theft, loss, unauthorized and/or unreasonable use, or normal “wear and
tear.” During the warranty period, Anki will make sole determination of a
defect. If Anki determines a defect, Anki, at its sole discretion, will repair or
replace the defective part or product with a comparable part. This does not
