blockage, fire and explosion.
36. DO NOT vacuum plaster, cement etc. as the filters can become blocked.
37. DO NOT run the over the power cord with the vacuum cleaner.
38. DO NOT use the vacuum cleaner if it is blocked. Turn it OFF and clear all
blockages before continuing.
39. Check that the filters areinserted
correctly.
40. Keep
hair,clothing
and body parts away from the vacuum nozzle during use.
41. Keep the appliance away from sources of heat like radiator

4 Before first use
1. Remove all packaging materials from the product. Dispose of all the packaging
materials in an appropriate way. Contact your local authorities about collection points
or waste separation.
2. Check the shipment for completeness and possible shipping damage. In case of
shipping damage or incomplete shipment, contact Kmart for replacement.
3. Please save the original packaging. Use it to store the appliance when not in use
for an extended period of time.
4. At delivery the vacuum cleaner is already fitted with a dust bag. Seven extra
separate dust bags are included with the product. To ensure there is a dust bag
installed in the product, press the cover release button (25) to open the cover (23) to
access the dust bag compartment. To insert a new dust bag, follow the instructions
under 7.1 “Dust bag replacement”.
NOTE: The cover cannot be closed if no dust bag is installed in the product.
5. Check that the motor filter and exhaust filter is in place. To access the filters,
follow the instructions under 7.2 “Filter maintenance”.
5 Assembly
1. Insert the suction hose adaptor (28) into the suction hose inlet (26) until it locks in
place. While connecting press the suction hose release buttons (27) on the suction
hose adaptor. To remove the suction hose, press the suction hose release buttons
and pull out the suction hose.
2. Attach the telescopic suction tube (14) to the end of the handle (12) until
it is firmly connected.
3. Extend the telescopic suction tube by pushing the tube release slide (15)
downwards. Release the tube release slide as soon as the required length of tube
has been reached. Make sure it locks into position.
4. Attach the combination nozzle (19) or the 2 in 1 crevice/brush nozzle (20) or the
upholstery tool (22) to the end of the telescopic suction tube.

6 Operation
6.1 General use
1. Pull out the power cord (2) to the required length. Do not pull further than the
yellow marking on the power cord to avoid damage.
2. Insert the power plug into a suitable mains supply socket.
3. Choose the correct setting for the floor by pressing the brush in or brush out
switch (18).
Brush out: wooden floors, titles, marble
Brush in: carpets/textile surfaces
4. Turn on the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF switch (7).
5. Adjust the suction power by turning the suction power control button (8).
Also see section 6.2 “Suction power control settings”.
6. Vacuum clean at a steady speed. The wheels (1) will support an easy movement
of the appliance.
7. After use press the ON/OFF switch to switch the unit OFF.
8. Disconnect the plug from the mains socket.
9. Hold the plug securely in order to guide the power cord while pressing the cable
rewind button (4).
10. Pay attention to the range that can be covered with the cable length.
11. Always disconnect the power plug from the mains socket before rewinding the
cable.

6.2 Suction power control settings
Turning the suction power control button (8) clockwise to increase power and turning
anticlockwise to decrease the power(Fig.1). Please refer to the following recommended
power settings:
MIN: for curtains and delicate fabrics
Medium: for high-pile carpets and textile flooring
MAX: for sturdy rugs and floors

6.3 Air flow regulator
Open the air flow regulator (13) on the handle (12)
in order to regulate the air flow or to clear the objects
blocking the nozzle (Fig.2). Gradually open the air flow
regulator to decrease the suction power.

6.4 Nozzle attachments
Combination floor nozzle
The combination floor nozzle (19) has two settings:
brush out and brush in. Press the brush out switch at the
combination nozzle in order to switch the brush out (Fig.3).
Press the brush in switch to retract the brush.

2 in 1 crevice/brush nozzle and upholstery tool
1. Connect the crevice/brush nozzle or upholstery tool to the end of the handle (12)
or to thetelescopic suction tube (14).
2. Use the upholstery tool to vacuum upholstery.
3. To clean hard to reach corners keep the nozzle folded and
use it as a crevice nozzle.
4. To use the nozzle as a brush nozzle, pull the brush
section in the direction of the arrow until it locks
in place (Fig.4).

7 Care and cleaning
1. Do not use alcohol, acetone, benzene, scouring cleaning agents, etc. to clean the
synthetic parts of the appliance. Do not use hard brushes or metal objects.
2. Do not immerse the appliance or power plug in water or any other liquids.
3. Wipe the outside of the appliance regularly with a slightly dampened cloth and dry
afterwards with a soft cloth.
7.1 Dust bag replacement
1. Hold the suction hose during operation up into
the air. If the dust bag full indicator (9) shows red,
the dust bag (21) is full and needs immediate
replacement.
2. Switch OFF the appliance and pull the plug from
the mains power outlet socket.
3. Pull the cover release button (25) and lift the cover (23)
until it locks in place(Fig.5)
4. Carefully pull upwards the dust bag holder (A)
including the dust bag. Fig.5
5. Slide the used dust bag out of the dust bag holder.
Dispose of the dust bag in accordance with local regulations.
6. Slide a new dust bag into the dust bag holder.
Pay attention to the arrow on the dust bag, which must point to the bottom of
the dust bag holder.
7. Reinsert the dust bag holder (A) with the dust bag carefully into the dust bag
compartment until it locks in place.
Align the dust bag evenly inside the compartment.

7.2 Filter maintenance
Your appliance is equipped with two filters. A motor filter (inlet filter) and an exhaust
filter. Both filters need regular maintenance as per below instructions.
Motor filter
1. Clean the motor filter (B) when changing the
dust bag. The motor filter is washable.
2. The motor filter is located in the rear section
of the dust bag compartment (Fig.6). Pull the
filter holder upwards to detach filter holder and
filter (Fig.7)
3. Push the motor filter out of the filter holder.
4. Wash the motor filter in clear warm water. Do
not add any cleaning agents as they damage Fig.6
the filter.
5. After washing, dry the motor filter completely.
If necessary, let it dry in the air.
6. Insert the motor filter into the filter holder and
place the filter holder back to its original position.
Note: the filter holder can only be inserted in one
Direction.
7. Close the cover.

Exhaust filter
1. The exhaust filter (C) is located under the ventilation grille (5).
2. Push the release lever upwards to remove the ventilation grille. Refer to Fig.8

3. Remove the exhaust filter and wash it in clear warm water.
Do not add any cleaning agents as they damage the filter.
4. After washing, dry the exhaust filter completely. If necessary, let it dry in the air.
5. Place the exhaust filter back to its original position.
6. Attach the ventilation grille and lock it.
7.3 Storage
1.

to suspend the storage hook (16) on the

12 MONTH WARRANTY
Thank you for your purchase from Kmart.
Kmart Australia Ltd warrants your new product to be free from defects in materials
and workmanship for the period stated above, from the date of purchase, provided
that the product is used in accordance with accompanying recommendations or
instructions where provided. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the
Australian Consumer Law.
Kmart will provide you with your choice of a refund, repair or exchange (where
possible) for this product if it becomes defective within the warranty period. Kmart
will bear the reasonable expense of claiming the warranty. This warranty will no
longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse or
neglect.

via Customer Help at Kmart.com.au for any difficulties with your product. Warranty
claims and claims for expense incurred in returning this product can be addressed to

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and
compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also
entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable
quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
For New Zealand customers, this warranty is in addition to statutory rights observed
under New Zealand legislation
