.Ⅲ Confirmthedoorinformationbeforeinstallation
1.InstallationRequirements
This fingerprint lock is not configured with a handle, and the user can install it on the door as desired. The
fingerprintlockisapplicabletodoorsof3550mminthickness.
2. Makesureofthedooropeningdirectionsandlockbodydirections
(1).Make sureofthedooropeningdirections.Thelockbody'soutsideandinside can'tbeset contrary.Assume
you are standing outside and facing a door and then there are four door opening directions: Left inward, left
outward, right inward and right outward. Left inward/outward means the door swings inward/outward with
hinges on the left; right inward/outward means the door swings inward/outward with hinges on the right, as
showninthefollowing Figure1:
(2). Make sure ofthe lock body directions. According to the door opening directions to make sure of the lock
bodydirections,shownasthefollowing Figure2:

Ⅳ.InstallLockBody
1. Determine the installation height and installation location; stick the holedrilling template to an appropriate
locationaccordingtothedooropeningmode,asshownin Figure 41.
2. Insertthe Lock Body into thematching Hole Slot. asshownin Figure5:
?Note:Therehasa"•UP"flagontheLockBody.BeforeinstallingtheLockBody,confirmhowtoinstallit
basedonthetipflag.
SetthelengthoftheLockBodybasedonthedistancefromtheDoorEdgetothecenterofthecircle(thatis,the
openingholedistanceisabout60mmor70mm,asshownin Figure41).
Theopeningdistancematching thedefaultlengthofthelockbodyis60mm.If thedistanceof70mmisrequired,
resetthelengthofthelockbodyinthe followingsteps:
(1). Holdthepart ①ofthe Lock Body,rotatethepart ②by 45°,andpullbackpart ②. Asshownin Figure42.
(2).Rotatepart②by45°intheother directiontomakethe cardpillar oftheLockBodytobeembeddedintothe
matchingcardholeof70mm.Thatis,setthelengthoftheLock Body to70mm.
JNote: WhenyoushortenthelengthoftheLock Body,performthefollowingsteps:
(1). Hold the part ①, rotate the part ② by45°,and push part ② ahead. (2). Rotate part ② by 45° in the other
directiontomakethecardpillarofthe LockBody tobeembeddedintothematchingcardholeof60mm.
(3). Tosetthelockas"LeftOpen" or "RightOpen" ontheRear panel Assembly,shownas Figure3:
Asshownin Figure3,therehasa "Leftopen/RightOpen" setSwitchontheRearpanelAssemblyofthefingerprint
lock.Theuser canturntheswitch totheleftside (L),namelysetthedoor'sopeningdirectionsas"LeftOpen";if
turntheswitchtotherightside(R),thensetthedoor'sopeningdirectionsas"RightOpen".
Note:① Beforeinstallthefingerprintlock,youmust makesureofthedoor's opening direction as Left Open or
RightOpenatfirst;②Accordingtothedoor's opening direction,switchthe"Left/RightOpen"setswitchtothe
corresponding position (Left Open, then switch to the left side; Right Open, then switch to the right side); ③
Accordingtothedoor'sopeningdirectionto drillaholeandtroughinthedoor,andtheninstalltheLockBody.

1. Install aSilica gel backing plateon the fFront panel Assembly (moisture proof / waterproof). As shown in
Figure12.
2.Stretchthe Spring BoltbacktotheLock Body andpullthe Connecting Wireoutoftheholeatthebottomofthe
Lock Body.
3.InstalltheFrontpanel AssemblyintothematchingHoleSlotonthedoor.(TherearethreeholesontheLock
Body, as shown inthe preceding figure. The cylinder on the fore plate composition must be pulled out from the
crossshapedholeoftheLock Body andtheLocking Bar mustbeverticaltotheground.),asshownin Figure13.
4.Installthe BackLining Plate tothemapping HoleSlot.PulltheConnectingWireoutoftheOvalshaped Hole
ofthe Back Lining Plate (Asshownin Figure14) andfixthe Back Lining Plate and FrontpanelAssembly using
ascrewdriver,asshownin Figure15.
3. After the procedure is completed, fix the Lock Body using a screwdriver, as shown in Figure 6. Insert the
screwdriver into the crossshapedhole of the LockBody. When you rotate the cylinder clockwise, it springs out
automatically,asshowninFigure7.Whenyourotatethecylindercounterclockwise,itspringsbackautomatically,
asshownin Figure8.
Ⅴ. ConfirmthelengthofLockingBar
1.Installthe FrontpanelAssemblyofthelockontothedoor(Pleasesee .InstalltheFrontpanelAssemblyⅥ).As
shownin Figure9:
2.CheckwhethertheLockingBaristoolong.If yes,taketheFrontpanelAssemblyoffandcutawaytheexcess
partofthe Locking Bar (see MethodforCuttingLockingBar). Asshown in Figure10.
MethodforcuttingLockingBar:SupposethatthepartoftheLockingBarthatstretchesoutoftheHoleSloton
thedoorisCD,asshowninFigure11.CutawaytheLocking BarfromAtoensurethattheLockingBardoesnot
stretchoutofthe HoleSlot.

5.BatteryLowVoltageProtection
Whenthebatteryislow,therearealarmsignalstowarnuserstochangethebatteryasfollows:
(1). When the battery voltage is lower than 4.8V, the buzzer will make short sharp sounds for five times when
startingthemachine.Userscanunlockitnormallybutfailtoentertheadministrativemode.
(2).Whenthebatteryvoltageislowerthan4.5V,thebuzzerwillmakeshortsharpsoundsforfive times,andthen
themachinewillbeswitchedoffautomatically.
JNote:Whenthelowvoltagealarmoccurs,pleasechangethebatteryintimetoavoidtheimpactontheworkof
the fingerprint lock. Avoid losing data caused by instable power supply (It is suggested to change the battery
immediately whenthebatteryvoltageislowerthan4.8V).
Ⅹ. TheBasicOperation
Ⅰ. ChangeMasterPassCode(MPC)
1. Press keytostartlock,andthenentertheVerifyState.TheLEDflashesgreenlight,andtheNumpadarea's
bluelightwillbeon.
2.Pressandholdthe keyuntilyouhear1longbeepandtheGreenLEDputout,andthentheKeypadarea
Flashes Bluelight.Pressnumberkey ofthe lock to inputthe defaultMPC"98989",andthenpress keyto
entertheManagementMode. ThegreenLEDputoutandtheKeypadareacontinueflashbluelight.
2.Precautions
(1).Afterthefingerprintlockisinstalled,thelockisintheteststate,andthereforeanyfingerprintsandpasswords
can open the lock. You must modify theMaster Pass Code (MPC). The lock can be used normally only after the
UserIDofanadministratorisentered.IftheMPCisnotmodified,theotherfunctionsofthesystemexceptforthe
initialization system are not available in the management mode. If no administrator is registered, ordinaryusers
cannotalsoberegistered.
JNote: Themethodandstepof changeMasterPassCode,Enroll AdministratorandEnrollOrdinaryuser,please
see BL100 FingerprintLock UserManual.
(2).Donotremovebatterieswhenmatching,enrollingordeletingfingerprintsbecausethesuddenpowerdownmay
resultindatalossoffingerprintlocks.Priortoremovingbatteries,makesurethefingerprintlockisnotinworking
state.
(3).Itisrecommendedtoreplacethefingerprintlockbatteriesatleastonceeverysixmonthstoavoiddamagingthe
circuitduetothebatteryleakage.Donotusebatterieswithpoorquality.
3. LEDBacklightIndicators
TheLEDBacklightIndicatorscontentthreecolors:Red,GreenandBlue.
Ø Thegeneralrule:
Successful =1LongBeep/LEDFlashesGreen.
Failed =2ShortBeeps/LEDFlashesRed.
Ø VerifyState:GreenLEDflashbysecond.
Ø ManagementMode:BlueLEDflashbysecond
4.UnlockwithanEmergencyMechanicalKey
Youcanopenthedoorusinganemergencymechanicalkeyincasetheelectroniccomponentdoesnotoperate.
①Useyourfingernailsorahardchiptotakedownthelockcover.
②Inserttheemergencykeyintothekeyholeandrotate90ºtounlock.

3. Press"1"toentertheEnrollOrdinaryUser'sFingerprintMode.
4. Input3digitsUserID,thenpress keytoconfirm.

5. Press finger in the scanner area properly, and repeat it for three times, until you hear one long beep and LED
flashesGreen,namelyenrollmentsuccessful.

1. Press key to startthelock andenterthe Verify State.Enter the Management Mode;see the methods on
howtoenterthemanagementmodeinthe EnrollaFingerprint OrdinaryUsers.
2. Press"2"onthelocktoentertheEnrollOrdinaryUser'sPasswordMode.
3. Input3digitsUserID,andpress keytoconfirm.
JNote:Theordinaryusers'IDmustbetween"001"and"994".
4.Input4digitsuserpassword,press key to confirm.Enterthe4digituserpasswordonceagainand press
keytoconfirmuntilyouhearonelongbeepand LEDflashesGreen.TheKeypadarealightsblue LEDand
the keylightsgreenLED,namely register successful.

Ø TheFingerprintVerification
1. Press keytostartthelockandentertheVerifyState.The FingerprintCollector isinactivestate.
2. Pressfingerinthefingerprintscannerareaproperly,untilyouhearonelongbeep,namelycollectsuccessful.
(1)Ifverifysuccessful,thebuzzerwillgivealongbeepandunlockautomatic,thegreenLEDandtheFingerprint
Collectorwillputout,theGreenLEDat keywilllightfor3seconds,atthismomentyourcanpress
keytolock.
3.Press "5"keyonthelockandenter thenew5digitsMPC,thenpressthe keytoconfirm.Enterthenew
MPConceagainthenpressthe keytoconfirm.Onceyouhear1longbeepandthe keyflashesgreen,
namelyyouhavesuccessfullychangedthe MPC code.
.Ⅱ EnrollanAdministrator
1. Press keytostartlock,and thenentertheVerifyState.
2.Pressand holdthe key untilyouhear1longbeep,enterthe5digitsMPC,andthen press keyto
entertheManagementMode.

3.Input"000"andpress keytoconfirm,theninput"000"againandpress keytoconfirm.Thebuzzer
willgivealongbeep,the keyflashgreenlight,namelysuccessfuldeleteallusers.
?Notice:Theoperationcanonlydeleteordinaryusers.Ifyouwanttodeleteadministrator,youshoulddoreset
operation.
Ⅺ.RoutineMaintenance
1.Thelocksurfaceisforbiddentocontactcorrosivesubstances.Otherwise,theprotectivelayerofthelocksurface
maybedamaged,andtherefore the glossinessofthelocksurfacemaybedecreased.Tokeepthelocksurfaceglossy,
usethefurniturepolishwaxtopolishthelocksurfaceregularly.
2. Usetheclothtocleandirtafterthefingerprintcollectorisusedforlongtime.
3.Changebatteriesintimewhenthealarmonthelowpowerrings.Youmustreplacethefouroldbatterieswithfour
newbatteriesofthesamebrand(the alkalinebatteryof1.5V)once.
4. Regularlycheckwhetherscrewsareloose.
(2)Ifverificationfailed.Thebuzzerwillgivetwoshortbeeps,theredLEDat keywilllightfor3s,thenthe
greenLEDwillflash,theusercanusefingerprinttoverifyagainuntilverifysuccessful.
Ø ThePasswordVerification
1. Press keytostartthelockandentertheVerifyState.
2. Pressnumberkeyoflocktoinputthecorrect4digitspassword,andpress keytoconfirm.
(1)If the password is correct,then verify successful, the buzzer will give along beep andunlock automatic, the
greenLEDatFingerprintCollectorwillputout,theGreenLEDat keywilllightfor3s,atthismomentyou
canpressthe keytolock.
(2)If the passwordis wrong, thenthe verification failed. The buzzer will give two short beeps, the RED LEDat
keywilllightfor3s,thenthegreen LEDwillflash,theusercaninputpasswordtoverifyagainuntilverify
successful.
JNote:Aftersuccessfulverification,thelockisinunlockingstate.Ifyouwanttolock,press keytostart
thelock,andthenpressthiskeyagaintolockandpoweroff.
Ⅴ.DeleteUser
Ø Deleteauser
1. Press key to startthe lock and enter the Verify State.Seethe methods on how to enter the management
modeinthe EnrollaFingerprint OrdinaryUsers.
2. Press"3"onthelocktoentertheDeleteUserMode.
3.Pressnumberkeyof thelocktoinputtheUser'sIDwhichoneyouwant todelete, andthenpress keyto
confirm.InputtheuserIDagain,andpress keytoconfirm,thebuzzerwillgivealongbeep,the key
lightsgreenlight,namelysuccessfuldeletetheuser.
4.Afterdeletingtheuser,youcanrestartthefingerprintlockandverifythedeleteduser'sfingerprintsorpassword
againtocheckwhethertheuserisdeletedforsure.
?Notice: Theadministratorcan'tdeleteitselfand thelastadministrator.
Ø Delete AllOrdinaryUsers
1.Press keytostartthelockandentertheVerifyState. Seethemethodsonhowtoenterthe management
