ACCESSORIES
If you require a longer cable between your Sport Housing and Pocket Wizard Housing,
AquaTech manufactures 10ft, 20ft, and 50ft Waterproof Inline Cables. These can also be
used to remotely re the camera.
A side handle mount is also available, which allows you to mount the Pocket Wizard above
your handle if a Flash Housing is already attached on your top ash mount.
AquaTech has designed Pocket Wizard Flash Housings that are also available. This is similar to
the waterproof AquaTech Flash Housing but has a back that allows a Pocket Wizard to attach
to the ash. This allows your ash to be red remotely in combination with a Pocket Wizard.
Please contact AquaTech about this product.
WARRANTY – TERMS & CONDITIONS
AquaTech offers a 6-month warranty on material and workmanship for all Sport Housing
products and accessories, effective from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase from a
recognized AquaTech dealer is required for all warranty claims. AquaTech will assess all
warranty claims and when validated, the AquaTech products in question will be repaired
or replaced by AquaTech. The dealers / distributors of our products are not responsible for
any warranty claims and all inquiries relating to a claim must be directed to AquaTech.
All AquaTech Sport Housing products undergo a thorough Quality Control and testing
protocol. Due to the environments that our Sport Housing products are subjected to, the
care and maintenance required, and the margin for user error, AquaTech stresses that there
is risk involved with taking your camera equipment into such conditions.
AquaTech strongly recommends that all care and maintenance manuals be reviewed,
understood and that customers perform preliminary water and control testing with and
without their camera equipment before using their new sport housing. Any concerns should
be reported to AquaTech immediately. If you discover an issue, the product in question
should not be used until assessed by AquaTech or one of our recognized service centers.
AquaTech or its dealers will assume no responsibility for any loss or damage to any camera
equipment used with or around our products under any circumstances. Furthermore, AquaTech
assumes no responsibility and will not be held liable for any loss of income or any costs incurred
by users of our products for any reason.
AquaTech Sport Housings are designed for shallow water and surface use only. They have
been tested and rated to 10 meters (33 feet). We do not recommend use in diving applications
or depths greater than 10 meters (33 feet).
An Extended Warranty is available for all AquaTech Sport Housing products and accessories.
Please see www.AquaTech.net or contact our ofce for details.

OVERVIEW
The AquaTech Pocket Wizard housing allows you to use your Pocket Wizard in and around
the water. Based on the cable used inside your housing, it can either
• Fire strobes remotely (using PC Sync cable) • Remotely re the camera
(using Cable Release)
Depending on your objective and version of your housing, your housing may require rewiring
by AquaTech to enable full functionality. This involves rewiring so that either the PC Sync cable
or Cable release may be connected.
FEATURES
Pocket Wizard Housing – clear housing that protects the Pocket Wizard
Flash Hotshoe – where Pocket Wizard attaches to housing
Antenna Gland – a double o-ring path for the Antenna to exit the Housing
Flash Mount – Mount that attaches to top of your housing using 2 screws (M5 x 10)
3.5mm Minijack – cable connecting the Pistol Bulkhead to the Pocket Wizard
PW Bulkhead –
waterproof female connector that connects the outside cable to the Minijack wiring
Inline Cable – waterproof cable that connects the camera housing bulkhead and PW Bulkhead
PC Sync Cable – a cable that connects your camera housing’s bulkhead to the camera’s
Flash Sync output; used to re strobes remotely
Cable release – a cable that connects your housing bulkhead to the camera’s
Cable Release input; used to re camera remotely
CONNECTION
Camera ➞ PC Sync Cable (or Cable Release) ➞ Housing Bulkhead ➞ Inline Cable ➞
PW Bulkhead ➞ 3.5mm Minijack ➞ Pocket Wizard
IMPORTANT
1) Most Pocket Wizards cannot transmit/receive a signal underwater.
Thus, the Pocket Wizard housing must oat at the surface to work properly.
2) AquaTech Sport Housings cannot accommodate the PC Sync
cable as shipped and
thus will require custom wiring by AquaTech.
To re the camera remotely, you should
not require rewiring if your housing has a cable release hardwired inside.
Please contact us with any questions.
3) If you are having trouble tting the antenna through the gland, use the grease from your
housing kit (or any silicone based grease) to lubricate
OVERVIEW
The AquaTech Flash Housing allows you to use your professional Canon or Nikon ash in and
around the water. These housings have been control tested and water tested down to a depth
of 10m (30 feet). Full controls of the ash on the backplate enable you to change settings
while in the water.
FEATURES
Flash Housing – clear housing that protects your ash
Flash Clips – used to secure the Flash Housing’s backplate
Piston Style O-ring – seals on the side wall of the backplate
Flash Hot Shoe – an electrical connector that secures the ash inside the Housing
Flash Mount – a mount that attaches to your Sport Housing using 2 screws
Flash Bulkhead – a bulkhead that connects your Flash Hot Shoe to the Sync Cord
Sync Cord – a waterproof cable that connects the Flash Bulkheads on your Sport Housing
and Flash Housing. Includes caps for both ends.
Camera Hot Shoe cable – this cable connects to the inside of your Sport Housing’s Flash
Bulkhead. It then plugs into the top of your camera on the hot shoe.
Release Tool – a small plastic key with a metal rod. It is used to help remove the backplate
off of the Flash Housing. The metal rod is inserted into holes on the ash housing and the
piece turns to gain leverage to push off backplate.
CONNECTION

Flash Hot Shoe ➞ Flash
IMPORTANT
1) The Flash Bulkhead on both your Sport Housing and Flash Housing comes with a black cap.
It is important that, when not in use, this black cap be tightened firmly. Without this, the
system is not waterproof.
2) Take care with the Camera Hot Shoe and the connection to the Flash Bulkhead – it is fragile.
