Placement
Place the product on a stable surface or
recommended stand, otherwise the product may
fall and cause injury to a person, and damage to
the product.
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for
mounting the product.

To ensure reliable operation and to prevent
overheating, do not block or cover ventilation
openings and slots with fabrics or impermeable
material Do not place in a built-in
installation such as a bookcase or rack unless
there is proper ventilation or our instructions
have been adhered to.
Heat
Do not place this product anywhere near heat

This speaker is specifically designed for operation
within the electrical range(s) specified on the
provided power adapter and use outside of this
range shall be at your own risk. Please contact
your local electric utility company if you have any

Power-cord Protection
Arrange the power-cord to minimize the risk of
damage from traffic or other hazards. Pay
particular attention to the area near the plug head,
the power source outlet and the connection from
the product.
Lightning
Unplug the product from the power source during
lightning storms of if unused for long periods of
time. This will prevent lightning and power-line
surge damage to the product.
Overloading
Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or
integral power circuits as this can result in a risk
of fire or electric shock.

Object and Liquid Entry
Never push any object through the product
openings, as this can result in a fire, electric
shock or damage. Do not spill liquids on the
product.
Servicing
Do not attempt to service the product yourself.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
Damage Requiring Service
Call for servicing when:
a) the power-supply cord or plug is damaged.
b) objects have fallen through or liquids have
been spilled into the product openings.
c) the product does not operate normally when
following the operating instructions.
d) the product has been dropped or damaged in
any way.

Usage, controls and connections
Function
Top of Music Box One
1. Power/Play buttons
Press to power on/off or play/pause.
Power on/off press and hold 3 sec. (the speaker will confirm by making a
sound). Play/pause press shortly.
2.Input Mode button
Press to change input (Bluetooth or Mini Jack) or to activate Bluetooth
pairing.
3. Volume+ button
Press to turn volume up. When maximum volume is reached the speaker will
give a warning tone.
4.Voulme- button Press to turn volume down
5. Skip track forward button
Press this button to skip forward to next music track when playing a playlist in
your media player or from a folder in your storage on your Music device.
6.Skip track back button Press this button to skip back to previous music track when playing a playlist
in your media player or from a folder in your storage on your Music device.

7.Battery compartment Contains the rechargeable lithium battery. The battery can be changed
if/when it runs out of charging capability.
8.On/Off power switch
This switch turns the speaker on og off. It will still charge if charger is
connected, even it’s in off position.
9. USB 5V charge
Charging function. Connect a mobile phone og other device that can be
charged using USB and 5V (most newer mobile devices on the market can
be charged this way).
10. Aux in 3,5mm input
Connect an external device such us a Mobile phone, Lap top or iPod to this
jack with a 3.5 mm stereo-to stereo cable.
11. Power connection Connect the included power supply for charging and/or play back using
constant power.
In the following manual each function/connection is referred to by the number indicated in the above scheme.

3. Using Your Argon MUSIC BOX ONE
3.1 Getting started and connected in a minute
1. Open the small lid on the backside of the Speaker. The lid will be tightly fit the first times you try to
open it, so it’s easier to open with a small knife or similar.
Plug the Power supply into an electric outlet and into the back panel 12 volt plug (11) of the
Music Box One. The Speaker will start charging the battery.
2. Push the on/off switch (8), on the back side of the Speaker, into “ON” position
3. Push the play/power button (1) hold for 3 sec. and the Speaker will make a sound indication it’s
now turned on.
4. A blue light will start blinking. This means that the Speaker is in Bluetooth mode and ready to pair
with your Source device.
5. Activate Bluetooth on your Source device and start searching for Bluetooth devices. (to pair using
NFC, see point 8).
6. “Argon Music Box One” will show up on the list. Click on “pair”. After a few seconds your Source
device will confirm and show “paired” in the display. If it asks for a pin code put in; 1234 or 0000.
7. Now press the “Argon Music Box One” on your Source device and it will connect.
Once connected the display on your Source device may show “Connected to Media device” and
you can start playback from your Source device.
8. Alternatively you can pair and connect via NFC, if your Music source supports this feature, Active
Bluetooth and NFC on you Music Source. Move/sweep the Music source device close to the top
of the Speaker until you hear a confirmation sound in the Speaker.
9. To turn off the Music Box One, press and hold the play/power button (1) hold for 3 sec. and the
Speaker will make a sound indication it’s now turned off and is in standby mode. For total switch
off, push the on/off switch (8), on the back side of the Speaker, into “OFF” position.

3.2 Modes
1. Press the Mode button (2) on the top of the speaker to change input modes
2. If the LED light, on the top of the Speaker shows a steady Blue light it indicates that the Speaker
is already connected to a Bluetooth source device.
3. If the LED light, on the top of the Speaker blinking Blue light it indicates that the Speaker is in
Bluetooth mode but not connected to a device.
4. If the LED light, on the top of the Speaker shows a steady Orange light it indicated that the
Speaker is in AUX mode. The Speaker is now ready to play from a device you have connect via
the mini-jack plug (10)
3.3 Connecting Bluetooth
1. Press the Mode button (2) on the top of the speaker until the LED light, on the top of the Speaker
shows a steady Blue light or a flashing Blue light.
2. If the LED light is steady Blue a device is already connected and ready to play. Notice it might not
be the device you intend to play from, but could be a different device.
3. If the LED light is flashing Blue it indicates that the Speaker is now ready to be either connected
or paired to a Bluetooth source device.
4. To pair a device for the first time, go to Bluetooth settings in you Source device.
a. Deactivate the tick box on your Source device that says “only visible for paired
devices”
b. Press “search”
c. “Argon Music Box One” will show up.
d. Tap on it in the menu and it will connect.
e. It will now show “connected to media sound” and you can start playback

3.4 Connecting Bluetooth using NFC
On newer smart phones and tablets you will find a function called NFC.
NFC stands for “Near Field Communication”. This feature can be used to Pair fast and easy with other
Bluetooth enabled devices.
Check if you device has NFC. Typically you will find this feature in your device “setting menu”. Or you can
check the manual of your device to locate this function.
1. (Typically) Go to “Settings” on your Source Device and locate the NFC tab. Activate the function.
2. Make sure Bluetooth is activated on your Device, and set to be visible for other devices.
3. Press the Mode button (2) on the top of the speaker until the LED light, on the top of the Speaker
shows a flashing Blue light.
4. To pair a device via NFC for the first time, simply sweep or place your Device over the NFC logo
(a grey N) on the top of the Speaker.
5. When paired, the Speaker will make a confirmation sound.
6. Press on “Music Box One” in your device Bluetooth menu and it will connect to the Speaker
3.5 Connecting AUX
If you don’t want or cannot use Bluetooth connection, You can use a 3.5mm stereo-to-stereo cable (10) to
connect an external device, like your Mobile phone, Laptop or iPod to the AUX IN jack, on the back of your
Speaker.
1. Press the Mode button (2) on the top of the speaker to change input mode.
2. When the LED light, on the top of the Speaker shows a steady Orange light it indicated that the
Speaker is in AUX mode. The Speaker is now ready to play from a device you have connect via
the mini-jack plug (10)

4. Battery and charging
4.1 Battery
1. Music Box One has a 2300 mAh lithium battery build in. At medium playback levels it will last up
to 22 hours when fully charged.
2. Battery life time is unpredictable, but typically you will notice that the playback time on battery will
start to drop after 2-3 years usage.
3. Battery is not covered by the warranty.
4. To maintain the battery and keep it to last as long as possible, it is recommended to “empty” the
battery for power once in a while. This is simply done by letting the Speaker play in battery mode
until it runs out of power by itself.
5. Before the battery runs out of power you will hear a warning tone from the speaker. The warning
tone will come once every 10 seconds.
4.2 Charging
1. The battery is charged by connecting the power supply (11) to the back of the Speaker. Full
Charging time is approximately three hours.
2. The Speaker will charge no matter if it’s turned on or not, as long as the power supply is
connected.
3. When charging, a Red LED light will show up next to the play/power (1) button on the top of the
Speaker
4. As long as the Red LED light is On, the Speaker is charging. When the Red LED light goes off,
the Speaker is fully charged.
