1 DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1.1 Function
АСМ-IP2.1 provides conversion of a digital communication interface into an analog
interface to ensure loud-speaking operative-process communication with subscriber
intercoms equipped with an analog interface.
ACM-IP2.1 is installed on the DIN-rail 35 mm wide in communication cabinets, racks
located in offices and control rooms.
АСМ-IP2.1 appearance is shown in Figure 2.
The housing is made of polyamide. The housing color under RAL is 7035.
Note — The manufacturer is entitled to change the overall appearance of the product
if this does not affect installation dimensions and operation.
ACM-IP2.1 contains embedded software and configuration data stored in memory,
which allows it to communicate with other digital communication system users directly,
handle priority connections and manage communication and indication modes. An IP-
network based on standard network equipment is used to facilitate communication.
Within the digital intercom system, the ACM-IP2.1 provides the following functions:
−functions of subscriber device in loud-speaking systems under Armtel-IP and
SIP protocols providing reception and transmission of an analog signal
(amplifiers, integration of analog intercoms);
−control (commutation) of external actuating devices 48V (relay, lamp-type
signaling device);
−recording of voice messages from terminal devices into internal memory;
−playback of voice messages recorded in the internal memory of terminal units;
−providing of calls priorities, set during configuration of the subscriber units, via
SIP and Armtel-IP protocols.
Configuration of АСМ-IP2 is performed from the administrator's PC, on which
the "IPN2 Configuration Software" RU.RMLT.00041-01 should be installed.
