Siempre se deben seguir las precauciones de seguridad básicas al usar

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

3. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or water heater in water or
any other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by or near children. This
appliance is not intended to be used by children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to completely cool before
putting on or taking off any parts, and before cleaning.
6. Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord, plug or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may cause injuries.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electrical burner, or in a heated oven.
11. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot
liquids.
12. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect
remove plug from wall outlet.
13. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
14. Never allow water to fill over the “FULL” mark or below the “REFILL” mark, otherwise it
will spill over or dry-up during boiling.
15. Do not open the top lid when water is boiling to avoid scalding by hot steam.
16. Do not fill air pot with any substance other than water.
17. Water is extremely hot. Use caution when serving as hot water can cause burns.
Always test temperature before serving.
18. When making baby formula with hot water from the air pot, always add cold water
as water from the air pot will be too hot for the baby. Amount of cold water needed
for adequate temperature will vary. Always test temperature before serving.

SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
1. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce risk resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
2. Longer extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised.
3. If a longer extension cord is used:
a. The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as
the electrical rating of the appliance.
b. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top
or tabletop where it can be pulled by children or tripped over unintentionally.
c. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a
grounding- type 3-wire cord.

HOW TO USE
Simplify your life with hot water at the touch of a button. Whether heating water
for your baby’s formula or for instant soup, the Aroma Hot H2O X-Press is the
perfect addition to the busy household!
Ideal for:
 Instant hot chocolate, coffee, and other powdered beverages
 Instant soups, oatmeal, and “just add water” packaged food
 Baby formula (be sure to add a mixture of cold and hot water as water from
Aroma Hot H2O X-Press will be very hot).
Before First Use:
1. Read all the instructions and important safeguards.
2. Remove all packaging materials; make sure all your items are received in good
condition.
3. Wash the inside pot with warm soapy water using a sponge or dishcloth.
4. Rinse thoroughly to remove soapy residue.
5. Wipe body clean with a damp cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
Do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water at any time.
To Heat Water:
1. Lift the top lid handle to open the lid. If needed for filling purposes, the entire lid can
be removed from the load/unload hinge on the back of lid.
2. Fill the pot with water anywhere between the “Full” mark and the “Refill” mark,
depending on desired quantity. Properly replace before using Hot H2O X-Press.
3. Attach power cord to Hot H2O X-Press by plugging connector to main body and then
connecting the plug to wall outlet.
4. The “Heat” indicator light will illuminate and the water will automatically begin heating.
5. Once the water has reached the boiling point, the “Heat” indicator light will go off and
the “Warm” indicator light will illuminate. The Hot H2O X-Press will remain in the
“Warm” function as long as it is plugged in.

WARNING:
• Never fill water more than the “FULL” mark or below the “REFILL” mark, otherwise
it will spill over or dry-up during boiling.
• Do not open the top lid when water is boiling to avoid scalding by hot steam.
• Be sure not to pour water out in the front of the panel or in the back of it.
Antes de usarlo por primera vez:
1. Lea todas las instrucciones y precauciones importantes.

Para calentar agua:
1. Levante el asa de la tapa superior para abrirla. Si fuera necesario para poder llenarlo, se
puede desprender la tapa de la bisagra de carga/descarga en la parte posterior de la tapa.
2. Llene el jarro con agua hasta un nivel entre la marca "Full" (lleno) y "Refill" (volver
a llenar), según la cantidad que desee. Colóquela de nuevo antes de usar el
calentador.
3. Conecte el cable al calentador enchufando el conector al cuerpo principal y luego
conectando el enchufe en un tomacorriente.
4. La luz indicadora "Heat" (calentar) se encenderá y el agua comenzará a calentarse
automáticamente.
5. Una vez que el agua haya alcanzado el punto de ebullición, la luz indicadora "Heat"
(calentar) se apagará y se encenderá la luz indicadora "Warm" (mantener caliente). El
calentador permanecerá en la función "Mantener caliente" mientras esté enchufado.
Para servir agua:
1. Para servir agua automáticamente, oprima el botón "Automatic Dispenser"
(dispensador automático) y saldrá el agua. Si suelta el botón, dejará de salir el agua.
2. Para servir agua con la bomba manual, deslice el cierre de seguridad en la parte
superior de la tapa a la posición
"On" (encendido) y oprima la
bomba de presión. Al oprimir saldrá
agua. Repita hasta haber servido la
cantidad de agua deseada.
3. Para servir usando el interruptor, empuje
hacia arriba el activador ubicado detrás
del pico vertedor y comenzará a salir
agua. Cuando la taza esté llena, retírela
y el agua dejará de salir.
ADVERTENCIA:
• No permita que el agua sobrepase la marca "FULL" ni que quede debajo de la
marca "REFILL"; de hacerlo, el agua se rebasará o se secará al hervir.
• No abra la tapa superior cuando el agua esté hirviendo para evitar quemarse con el
vapor caliente.

HOW TO USE & CLEAN
Using the Unlock Feature:
For safety reasons, the Hot H2O X-Press will automatically lock after each use. All
buttons will be locked and unit will not dispense water.
1. To use the unit, press the “Unlock” button. The indicator light will illuminate and all
buttons will function properly.
To Dispense Water:
1. To automatically dispense
water, press the “Automatic
Dispenser” button and water
will flow. If you release the
button, the water will stop.
2. To dispense water with the
manual pump, move the the
“Safety Lock” on the top of the lid to the “On” position and press down on the
pressure pump. Pressing down will dispense water. Repeat until desired amount of
water is dispensed.
3. To dispense using the dispensing switch, push up on the dispensing trigger located
behind the dispensing spout and water will begin pouring. When cup is full, remove
and water will stop.
To Reheat:
If you wish to reheat the water to the boiling point again, press the “Reboil” button.
The unit must be in the warming mode with the “Warm” indicator light lit.
To Clean:
Always unplug Hot H2O X-Press and allow to cool completely before cleaning.
1. Wipe lid and body clean with a damp cloth.
2. When unit has cooled completely wash the inner pot with warm, soapy water and a
sponge. Rinse thoroughly to remove soapy residue. For easy cleaning, the lid can
be completely removed. Properly replace lid before use.
3. If you live in an area that has hard water, the inner pot may discolor slightly. Should
this happen, mix a lemon juice and water solution and fill the inner pot up to the
“Full” mark. Boil water and let soak for an hour. Repeat cleaning instructions above
to remove lemon juice residue.
WARNING:
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
• The Hot H2O X-Press is NOT dishwasher safe.

Para recalentar:
Si desea recalentar el agua hasta el punto de ebullición, oprima el botón que dice
"Reboil" (volver a hervir). La equipo debe estar el modo de calentar con la luz
indicadora "Warm" encendida.
Cómo destrabarlo:
Por motivos de seguridad, el calentador automáticamente quedará trabado después de
usarlo. Todos los botones quedarán trabados y el equipo no dispensará agua.

3. Si vive en una zona donde hay agua dura, es posible que el jarro pierda ligeramente
el color. Si esto sucede, prepare una mezcla de agua y jugo de limón y llene el jarro
interior hasta la marca "Full". Haga hervir el agua y déjelo en remojo por una hora.
Repita las instrucciones de limpieza anteriores para eliminar los residuos de jugo de
limón.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Aroma Housewares Company warrants this product free from defects in material
and workmanship for one year from provable date of purchase in continental United
States.
Within this warranty period, Aroma Housewares Company will repair or replace, at
its option, defective parts at no charge, provided the product is returned, freight
prepaid with proof of purchase and U.S. $8.00 for shipping and handling charges
payable to Aroma Housewares Company. Before returning an item, please call the
toll free number below for return authorization number. Allow 2-4 weeks for return
shipping.
This warranty does not cover improper installation, misuse, abuse or neglect on the
part of the owner. Warranty is also invalid in any case that the product is taken
apart or serviced by an unauthorized service station.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and which may vary from state to state
and does not cover areas outside the United States.
