GLUE GUN

1. Do not touch heated nozzle area of glue gun
or melted glue. Touching any heated portions of the
product may result in personal injury, such as a burn.
2. Keep work area clean and keep electrical
contacts clear of debris. Work environment
should be clean, dry, well lit and clear of
flammable materials. Cluttered, dark areas and
flammable materials may result in a risk of fire, electric
shock or personal injury.
3. Keep children and bystanders away while
operating the tool. Distractions can cause you to lose
control.
4. Always use safety glasses. Following this rule will
reduce the risk of eye injury.
5. Do not harm the cord. Never use the cord for
carrying, pulling or unplugging the glue gun
tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp
edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords
increase the risk of electric shock.
6. Glue gun tool plugs must match the outlet.
Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use
any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded)
glue gun tools. Modifying plug and failure to use
proper outlet increases risk of electric shock.
WARNING When using electric tools, basic safety precautions should always
be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and personal injury.
CAUTION: Read Safety Rules and Operating Instructions Carefully.
READ ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
7. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded
surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock
if your body is earthed or grounded.
8. Disconnect tools when not in use.
9. Do not touch the glue stick or trigger except to
dispense glue. If you insert the glue stick into the glue gun
using too much force can cause hot glue to unexpectedly
discharge from the nozzle. Following this rule may reduce
the risk of accidental glue discharge.
10. Do not expose this tool to rain or wet conditions.
Water entering a corded electric tool will increase the risk
of electric shock.
11. When not in use, the tool should be stored indoors.
12. Store idle glue gun out of the reach of children,
and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the
tool or these instructions to operate the glue
gun. Electric tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained
users.
13. Do not pull glue sticks from gun. The feed
mechanism may become damaged or impaired. If you
desire to change types of glue, cut off protruding end of
glue stick and feed the remainder through with the new
type of glue stick.

BEFORE INITIAL OPERATION
The battery is supplied partially charged. Before first use, charge the battery for at least 3 hours. The battery can be
charged at any time and interruption of the charging process will not impact the service life or damage the battery.
Never charge the battery in temperatures above 104° (40° C) or below 50° (10° C).
Charging:
Connect the plug to a 100 – 240 V 50/60Hz power source.
Place the glue gun into the charging stand. Battery level indicator will light up red.
Charging Complete:
1. Battery level indicator will light up green when glue gun is fully charged and ready to use.
2. Remove glue gun from charging stand.
3. Disconnect charging stand from power supply.
IMPORTANT When using electric tools, basic safety precautions should always
be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and personal injury.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

7
OPERATION
1. Insert glue stick into glue stick opening at rear of tool.
2. If desired, extend retractable drip pad at front of charging stand.
3. To turn the glue gun on, press and hold ON/OFF switch until temperature indicator lights up green. The temperature
indicator will remain green when glue gun has reached proper working temperature.
4. Allow glue to melt inside heat chamber for one minute before attempting to use.
5. To glue, pull the trigger to regulate glue flow and apply as needed. Do not force trigger if glue does not enter gun
easily. If this occurs, allow an additional thirty seconds of heat up time. Use caution to avoid hot nozzle and glue as it
can cause burns.
6. Release trigger to stop the flow of glue. Apply pressure to work piece for approximately sixty (60) seconds
for complete bonding.
7. To turn the glue gun off, press and hold ON/OFF switch until temperature indicator goes off. Place used glue gun down
carefully and allow to cool before storage.
NOTE: Glue gun is equipped with an automatic safety shut-off feature that switches off after 10 minutes. To reactivate,
simply turn gun back on.

DISPOSAL
Improper disposal of obsolete lithium ion batteries is unsafe and can cause environmental damage. Please dispose of
this product via an approved waste removal company or your municipal waste disposal authority. Contact your local
municipality for regulations in your area.
TIPS ON USING
1. The working time of hot melt glue can be extended to fifty to sixty (50 to 60) seconds by applying the adhesive in large
drops (1/2” diameter) or shortened to less than ten (10) seconds by extruding the adhesive in a thin line.
2. Large areas are difficult to bond because the adhesive frequently will harden before you have extruded the right amount.
3. Preheat surfaces, (especially metals) to improve bond strength. Direct sunlight will accomplish this.
4. The adhesive remaining in an unheated glue gun will re-melt upon heating.
5. Do not use on items that will be subject to temperatures above 140˚F (60˚C).
6. Do not use hot melt glue to hold heavy loads.
7. Some paints and stains can weaken the adhesive. You may need to paint or stain before gluing.
