1. Introduction
Matrix-700 based on ARM Cortex-A5, is a Linux-ready IoT gateway with highly
integrated and low power onsumption. Matrix-700 provides an ideal building blo k
that easily integrates with a wide range of target markets, su h as industrial ontrol,
automation, mobile gateway and other appli ations.

3. Pin Assignment and Definitions
3.1 LED Indicators
The LED provides the Matrix-700 operation information. The LED status is des ribed
as follow:
“Ready” (Ready LED indi ator): Ready LED keeps ON when system is ready for
operating.
“GLAN” & “LAN” (Network LED indi ator): Link and A tivity LED will turn ON
when the Ethernet able is onne ted. When there is network data traffi , this
LED will flash.
“P1 ~ P4” (Serial Port LED indi ator): These eight dual olor LEDs indi ate the
data traffi at the serial ports. When RXD line is high then Green light is ON and
when TXD line is high, Yellow light is ON.

3.2 Serial Port
The Matrix-700 provide total four RS-485 / RS-232 ports that ea h port an be
onfigured by software.
RS-485 supports automati dire tion ontrol (by hardware).
The pin assignment is shown as following table.

Enable/Disable Termination resistor for RS-485
The Matrix-700 equips on-board 120Ohm termination resistor for ea h RS-485 port.
Default setting is disable termination resistor. In order to enable termination resistor,
please remove the top over of the Matrix-700, and the adjust the asso iated jumper
to short position1 - 2, shown below:

3.3 Power Connector
Conne ting +9 ~ +48VDC power line to the Power in terminal blo k. If the power is
properly supplied, the Power LED will keep solid green olor and a beep will be
heard.
3.4 Ethernet LAN Port
The Ethernet Port use RJ45 onne tor.

There is a SD ard so ket inside as data storage. It an be a essed by opening top
over.
