Introduction
YourWirePrepper®LiteWireCutteraccuratelymeasures,cutsandcountswire,tubingand
heatshrinkabletubingautomaticallyfrom30AWG(0.05mm2)to10AWG(2.5mm2)diameter.
Itcanalsobeusedtopreparemulti‐conductorandsemi‐rigidcabletoamaximumdiameterof
0.312in.(7.9mm).Itistheperfectchoiceforyourvolumeproductionpreparation
requirements.AnyonecaneasilyoperatetheWirePrepper®LiteWireCutterwithoutspecial
training,anditrequiresnotoolsorspecialset‐up.Datacanbeenteredineitherinchesor
metricmeasurementsthroughtheuser‐friendlyelectroniccontrols,andlengthsfrom0.04in.
(0.1cm)to9999.99inchesorcentimeterscanbecut.Thiselectronicmachineisportable,
weighinglessthan9kg(20pounds).


PuttingtheMachinetoWork
‐PlugthecordintoON‐OFFswitchpowermodule.
‐Insertwireinthefirstfeedtubeuntilthewiretouchesthefeedrollers.Whilepushing
thewirelightlyagainstthefeedrollersrotatetherollersbyhandtofeedthewirethru
thesecondfeedtubeandoutpastthecuttingblade.
‐The WirePrepper®LiteWireCutterisnowreadytomeasureandcutwire. 





Tochangeselectedvoltage:removethefusecartridgeusingasmallbladescrewdriverorsimilar
tool;selectthedesiredvoltagebymatchingthearrowonthefusecartridgetothearrow
locatedonthefrontoftheunit(lowerrightcorner);replacethefusecartridgemakingsurethe
voltageselectionarrowalignswiththearrowlocatedinthefrontoftheunit.


FuseReplacement
Removethefusecartridgeusingasmallbladescrewdriverorsimilartool.Replacetwo3AMP,
3AGtimedelayor3.15amp,5x20mm.Timedelayfuses,andinsertthefusecartridgeback
intotheunit;makingcertainthePROPERVOLTAGESELECTIONARROWalignswiththe
rectanglelocatedbelowthefusereceptacle.

BladeReplacement
‐ Unplugtheunit 

Loosenthescrewholdingtheblade(use0.05hexwrench)andreplacetheblade. 

‐ Tightenscrewuntilsnug—makeasamplecutandtightenorloosenscrewsasneededto
produceacleancut. 

TroubleShooting
MachineWillNotFunction,AllSwitchesDoNotWork
 Turnthemachineoffandthenbackontoresetthemachineelectronics. 
CuttersCyclesContinuously
 Checkcutterhomesensorswitchlocatedunderthetopplate.Whenthecutterarmisin
thehomeposition,thesteelvaneshouldbeinsidetheswitchslot.Adjustthesteelvane
sothatthecuttingbladeclearsthecuttingholewheninthehomeposition.


