We thank you for having selected the Arzum brand Coffee Maker. This
product as well is one of those offered to you make life easier for you. In
order to obtain utmost output from your appliance, please read carefully
this user’s manual and save it for further use.

• MakesurethatthevoltageindicatedontheArzum Coffee Maker
corresponds with the mains voltage in your home. Our company shall not
be held liable for any failures owing to any discrepancy and such failures
shall not be covered by the guarantee.
•This appliance is designed to use
for home, stuff kitchen areas in
shops, offices and otherworking
environments, customer rooms
in hotel, motel and the other
accommodation places.
The appliance is not suitable for
professional use. Do not use the
appliance for any purpose other than
its intended use.
•This appliance should be used by
people who are informed, supervised
and instructed to use this appliance in a
safe manner and understood the
risks. This product shouldn’t be used
by persons with physical (visual, aural)
or mental disabilities, children and
persons with inadequate experience
and knowledge without the supervision
of someone responsible for their safety.

Keep the children under supervision
when the product is used and make
sure that children doesn’t play with the
product. Keep the appliance and its cord
out of reach of children aged less than 8
years.
Attention: Keep children away from all
packing materials, these materials have
potential danger that can cause death
as a result of choke.
•Keep your appliance away from
and out of reach of the children.
•This machine is intended to be used in
such places like houses and following
other places:
•In shops, offices and kitchens for
staff in other working places,
•Farmhouses,
•In motels, hotels and other residential
type locations,
•In sleeping places and breakfast halls,
•Before Cleaning:Makesuretheapplianceisswitchedoff,unpluggedand
has cooled down completely.
•Toavoidtheriskofelectricshock,donotimmersetheapplianceinwater,
nor clean it with any kind of liquid.
•Cleantheexteriorhousingwithaslightlydamp,softandlint-freecloth.Do
not use harsh cleaning agents, as they can damage the housing.
•NEVER wash the power base and main body of your appliance by means
of plugging them into water or wash in the dishwasher.

•Yourapplianceisforhouseholduseonly.Donotuseoutdoorsfor
commercial or industrial purposes..
•Keepyourapplianceawayfromandoutofreachofthechildren.
•Plugyourappliancetoagroundedsocketwithoutfail.Toprevent
harming your appliance do not use extension cords that supply insufficient
current.
•DonotplacetheArzum DALLAH Coffee Maker over or near direct heat
sources such as stove, heating oven etc.
Ensure that the appliance is placed on a firm and flat surface. Do
not put it on the edge of a table or bench. The least blow or knock may
overturn it. Do not forget that it may be full of hot water.
•Donotletcordhangoveredgeoftablecounterortouchanyother
appliances.
•Avoidactionsthatmayharmordamagethecordorplugofyourappliance.
Do not carry your appliance by holding from the cord. To unplug the tea
machine, hold the plug and NEVER pull by the cord.
•Neverinterferewithyourapplianceexceptforthepurposesof
cleaning and maintenance. Do not operate any appliance with a
damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been
damaged in any manner, such as by dropping down, etc. Do not attempt to
repair it by yourself. Call immediately an Arzum Authorized Service.
•Alwaysholdyourappliancebyitshandle,sinceitsoutersurfacemaybe
hot.
•Unplugfromoutletwhennotinuseandbeforecleaning.Allowittocool
down before cleaning the appliance.
•UseyourArzumCoffeeMakerwithitsownpowerbaseunitonly.Donot
place it on those units belonging to any other appliance.
•Yourapplianceautomaticallystopsboilingorbrewingwhilethekeep-warm
function is disabled when water or coffee is boiled. But you can move
start/stop button to off position when you want to turn off earlier.
•Ifyouwanttoreboilthewater,waitfor15-20secondsbeforeusingthe
appliance
•Iftheapplianceisleftinoperationwhenitisemptyorwhenthereisnot
enough water, safety shut-off system will cut the power automatically. In
this case wait for the appliance to cool off completely before pouring water.
•Protectyourhandsagainststeamtobeejectedwhenthewaterisboiling
or the coffee is brewing, and do not let children to use the appliance.
•Neveropenyourmachinelidwhilecoffeebrewingorthewaterisboiling.

Do not bend the appliance too much while emptying the water or coffee
into a glass or similar container.
•DonotllyourappliancewithwateroverMAXmark.Mixtureofwater,
coffeeandotheringredientsshouldnotexceedtheMAXmark.
•NEVERimmersethekettleandpowerbaseunitinwaterorotherliquids,
nor wash in a dishwasher, nor use in bathroom or any other places with a
high rate of moisture.
When filling with water remove the appliance from its power base unit.
•Neverleavethepowerbaseunitandelectricalconnectionendsof
your appliance in a damp state. If wetted, unplug before drying and no
not operate your appliance before having it dried completely.
WARNING
• Donotoperatestart/stopbuttonwhenthereisnowaterorthereisless
than minimum level (0,5 lt) in your appliance.
• MakesuretoALWAYS turn off start/stop button when water in your
appliance is over.
USE OF YOUR COFFE MAKER
• Arzum DALLAH Coffee Maker can only be used to boil water or coffee.
Do not use any liquids or solution.
Beforerstuse;washyourappliance,andafterthatllituptoMAXwater
level. Boil the water until your appliance automatic shutdown.
Empty the water and let the appliance cool.
Makesurewaterisinmaximumlevelwhile
doing this.
It is normal to observe residues in powder form
depending on the hardness of water after water
is boiled. This is due to the water and it is not
harmful for human health.
When start/stop button is on, the lid of the appliance must ALWAYS be
closed.
Locking Lid :
Close the appliance lid aligning the lock mark on it with the pouring point
and lock by turning 90 degrees left or right.

Boiling Water :
1. Fill the appliance with fresh water up to the
maximum level after opening the lid.
2. Place the appliance on its base after closing
the lid.
3.Afterpressingstart/stopbutton,theappliance
will start, the light around the button will light
blue and the screen will display "III---". 4. The
appliance will automatically stop boiling after the
water is boiled.
5.Unplugyourappliancewhennotinuse.
Preparing Coffee :
1. Fill the appliance with fresh water up to the
maximum level after opening the lid.
2.Adddesiredamountofcoffeeintothelter.
Youcanaddanyingredientdependingonyour
taste.
3. Lock the filter by closing down the latch
4. Hang the filter to the lid by its hook/chain.
5. Place the appliance on its base
after closing the lid.
6. Press Brewing Time Setting
Button to set the coffee brewing
time. The screen will display 5,
10, 15, 20 25, 30 options in order
in every press of the button for
you to select the brewing minute.
Set the brewing time as you like. The appliance will save this brewing time
unlessyouchangeitinthefollowingoperations.Afterbrewingtimeisset,
press "Start/stop" button. The appliance will start boiling after pressing
Start/stop button, the button will light blue and the screen will display "III---".

7. When the appliance reaches 96 celcius,
operation power will decrease to 600 Watt until
thecoffeeisbrewed.Yourappliancewillbrew
your coffee until the end of the set time after
the coffee is brewed. When the set time is over,
theappliancewillplayabuzzerandendbrewing
automatically.
Keep Warm :
1. First, set the minute by pressing Brewing Time Setting Button, then press
Keep Warm Button and then Start/stop button to start coffee brewing.
Start brewing by pressing Start/stop button to start preparing coffee.
Keep warm mode keeps the water or coffee in your appliance between 88
- 92 celcius. Keep warm mode operates for a maximum of 1 hour.
2. If the keep-warm mode is active before or during coffee brewing, the
temperature will be fixed after coffee brewing is over. If keep-warm mode is
to be activated after coffee brewing, the appliance needs to be turned on
using on/off button.
RE-OPERATION
•Ifyouwanttooperateyourapplianceagain,
make sure it is sufficiently cooled. If Start/stop
button is automatically turned off, do not force
openit.Youmaydamageyourappliance
SECURITY SYSTEM
•Whenboilingorcoffeebrewingisover,theappliancewillautomatically
stop boiling or brewing process if keep warm mode is off. If the keep-warm
mode is on, the appliance will automatically switch to keep-warm mode
when brewing is over.
•OperationProtectionwithoutwater:Ifyourapplianceoperateswithout
water, thermostat activates and disconnects energy of your device and
switches off your machine. In such a case, remove the appliance plug from
the wall outlet and allow your appliance to cool completely.

CLEANING
•MAKE SURE to read the considerations before
cleaning section.
BEFORE CLEANING, ALWAYS TURN THE
APPLIANCE OFF USING START/STOP
BUTTON, UNPLUG ITAND LET IT COOL OFF
COMPLETELY.
•Dischargethewaterinyourapplianceandwipe
its external surface with a dry or damp cloth.
•NEVERwashthepowerbaseandmainbodyofyourappliancebymeans
of plugging them into water or wash in the dishwasher.
•Donotcleananyoftheapplianceaccessorieswithharshandchemical
cleaners (bleach, hydrochloric acid, etc.)
Calcification Removal
•Thecalcificationwithinthewaterusedinthecourseoftimeaccumulates
on the heater base and burns out and forms a brown layer and then
reduces the output of your heater.
•Theslightcalcificationcanbecleanedeasilywithabrush.(Beforedoing
this process, do not forget to disconnect the plug from the outlet first.).
•Youcancleanthehardcalcificationwithsedimentsbymeansofthe
calcification removers which are sold for the household appliances that can
be purchased from the market or vinegar.
•Tocleanwiththecalcificationremover;afterboilingsomewaterinyour
appliance,mixthecalcificationremoverwiththeboiledwater.Afterwaiting
for a while, boil your heater 2-3 min. more and discharge its inside and
wash with clean water for 2-3 times.
•Tocleanwithwhitevinegar;fillhalfliterofwhitevinegarinyourappliance
and wait for 1 hour, and after that, empty the vinegar and wash your
appliance with clean water for 2-3 times.
