For your safety, read this manual carefully before installing or using this product.
The powerLIFT is a vehicle lift made with a folding scissor structure and is powered by two hydraulic
cylinders.This vehicle lift has been developed for workshops that work with bodies of different weights that
need to be completely lifted.
The vehicle that is lifted must have the same or less weight than the maximum load indicated in the tech-
nical specifications indicated below.

MANIPULATION OF THE LIFTS AND ITS ACCESORIES
· Place the lift in horizontal position and fix the crane to the elevator with two tapes at each end to transport/
move the structure correctly.
· Make sure that the tapes are in good condition and correctly placed.

3.4 Installation / Civil Work
The installation of the machine can only be carried out by qualified personnel who comply
with the occupational risk prevention regulations.
Below, you can find the map need for doing the civil work (have a look on Figure 04 and 05, only for
AE5000).

3.5 Content manipulation
The pallet can be manipulated with a forklift or a trans pallet. Afterwards, cut the straps that fix the struc-
ture to the pallet and place the elevator in the area intended for use so that the wheels are in contact with
the pavement.
If a crane is used to place the structure, it must be done by qualified personnel who comply with safety
regulations. Do not touch or put under the load area of the crane. To do this, you must follow the following
recommendations:
· Place the lift in horizontal position and fix the crane to the elevator with two tapes at each end to transport/
move the structure correctly.
· Make sure that the tapes are in good condition and correctly placed.
. Place the lift in the area intended for use so that the wheels are in contact with the pavement.
4 Before using the product
4.1 Warnings
The powerLIFT is a mobile lift that must be used inside a workshop with a flat pavement, perfectly levelled,
with enough capacity to support the load of the lift along with its maximum load and protected from adver-
se factors such as temperature, humidity, wind, rain, etc. It should not be used on a rough surface or other
type of pavement that does not meet the minimum requirements for proper operation.
This product has been developed to repair vehicles, not to lift people.
The lift is not designed to work below.
Before starting the installation, the entire area must be free from any obstacle.
The operations with the lift must be carried out by expert and responsible personnel. In addition, the
operator must comply with safety regulations and prevention of occupational hazards for the workplace.
Any other operation that is not described in this manual will be a risk that will be borne by the owner and
will be considered a negligence that will automatically involve the loss of the warranty.
CAUTION
The manufacturer is not responsible, in any way, for any damage caused to people or things
due to the wrong use of the lift.

4.2 Safety areas
To achieve the safety necessary, it is recommended to define the space where the lift will be used at a
certain distance from another object or the wall.
4.3 Protection for the worker
The operator must always wear appropriate work clothes and adopt all necessary measures to maintain
safety in compliance with the regulation of occupational risk prevention. During work, the user must gua-
rantee their own safety, as well as the safety of the people and objects that surround them. The operator
must take into account all the recommendations contained in this manual.
5 Installation and start up
5.1 Pneumatic and hydraulic connection
The hydraulic pump that we supply with the powerLIFT can be single effect or double effect, according to
the needs of the customer. For more details, read section 3.1. (Components of the machine) and section
6. (How to use).
The air pressure in the network necessary to operate the elevator must be between 7 and 8 bars. Check
that the necessary pressure is correct and that there are no air leaks in the circuit.
WARNING
AIR BREATHER
Before the first use, open the screw indicated in figure 06 (three turns). This will allow the
air to pass to the oil tank every time we rise and fall the lift. If this operation is not done,
vibrations could happened during the use.
Simple effect case (AE5000)
The single-acting pump is provided with a hose on the front with a hydraulic quick-connect connection
and, on the rear, a pneumatic quick-connect connection.The hose that comes from the lift will be connec-
ted to the hydraulic connection. And, in the pneumatic connection, the hose of the compressed air supply
network of the workshop will be connected.

Double effect case (AE500R)
The double-acting pump is provided with two hoses at the front with a hydraulic quick-connect connection
each and, at the rear, a pneumatic quick-connect connection. The hoses that come from the elevator will
be connected to the hydraulic connections. Please be sure to connect each hydraulic hose with its right
partner, it means, connect each quick plug with its right colour. Otherwise, the function will be significantly
affected in the control that controls the descent and the rise of the elevator. In the pneumatic connection
the hose of the compressed air supply network of the workshop will be connected.

5.2 Start up
5.3 How to use
WARNING
Before carrying out this operation, make sure that no person or object is under or near the
lift.
After making the connections, it is time to make the pertinent checks to ensure that the lift rises and falls
properly:
Simple effect (AE5000)
To raise the lift, press the pump pedal in the area of the toe. To lower the lift, press the pump pedal down
the heel area of the foot. In any situation, the elevator will go up or down as long as we continue to press
and remain quiet when we stop doing so.
Double effect (AE500R)
To raise the elevator, turn the handle to the up position (UP) and press the pedal. To lower the lift, turn the
handle to the down position (DOWN) and press the pedal.
In any situation, the lift will go up or down as long as we continue to press. If the pedal is released, the lift
will stop.
If the operations described in point 5 are carried out successfully, the powerLIFT is ready for use. These
operations must be checked before carrying out any operation. In addition, it must be ensured that the
mass of the vehicle to be treated does not exceed 3000kg, the maximum load authorized by the lift.
5.4 Set up the lift
Before placing the lift, it must be placed at the minimum or resting height (10.5 cm) with the arms collec-
ted. If there were irregularities in the pavement or there was some friction of the arms on the floor, raise
another half centimetre.
The powerLIFT is easily displaced thanks to the rudder that, once anchored, simply pull or push to direct it.
Whether the lift is placed under the vehicle or the vehicle that has been placed on the lift, make sure that
the lift is well centered longitudinally and transversely to the vehicle.

WARNING
It is extremely important to place the vehicle in the correct position.
Position that is mentioned in the table of the elevator where it is marked which is the side
where the engine of the vehicle must be located (MOTOR SIDE). In the case of placing it
upside down, the vehicle can fall from the top damaging it and any object and person that
is around.

5.5 Installation of the pads
5.6 Setting up the lifting pads
Install the pads on the lift arms as indicated in “Figure 12”.

Swing the arms and slide the supports by these to make the support fit with the ideal point of elevation
(where normally a lifting jack would be positioned) as showed in “Figure 13”.
Never carry out the vehicle lifting maneuver without installing the pads provided by the
manufacturer.

In some models you have the arm with locking system. To rotate the arms, pull the handle until the me-
chanism is disengaged and turned to the desired position, then release the handle making sure that the
mechanism engages again as its showed in “Figure 14”.
5.7 Secure the working area
Once the elevator is correctly positioned, the following guidelines should be followed:
. Verify that the safety zone is free of people, objects or obstacles before and during the process of raising
or lowering the vehicle, which has already been mentioned in this manual. Continue the operation only if
everything is stable and there is no danger.

the aforementioned indications are not respected.
WARNING
5.8 Movement of the lift with load
Thanks to the accessories, it is possible to move the lift with the vehicle on the top without hardly any
effort on the entire surface of the workshop. For this, it is essential to have a double effect cylinder system.
In order to move the lift with the vehicle on the top, the vehicle must exceed the height of 35 centimeters.
This is the moment to place the accessories in their corresponding guides and secure them with the pin,
as indicated in figure 15.
Once this has been done on the four support points, it is necessary to turn the handle in the DOWN position
and operate the pedal to raise the legs from the ground while the wheels of the accessories make contact
with the ground holding all the weight. It is sufficient to raise the legs of the soil about 10 cm approximately

In this situation, the pump can be picked up or unplugged to later push the car in any direction you want
to reach.

When we take the lift and arrive at another location, the pump will be plugged in (if it had been disconnec-
ted) and the control will be set in the UP position. The scissors will begin to go down and, as soon as they
touch the ground, the vehicle will start being raised. When the accessories are suspended on the arms of
the lift, it is time to remove them.
5.9 Descending
Simple Effect (AE5000)
To descent the lift, press the pump pedal down the heel area. The elevator will go down as long as we
continue to press and it will remain quiet when we stop doing it.
Double Effect (AE500R)
To descent the lift, turn the knob to the down position (DOWN) and press the pedal. The lift will go down
while we continue pressing. If the pedal is released, the elevator will stopped.

7.3 Periodic inspection
The lift must be inspected by a specialist at least once every 12 months.

· Check the welds for cracks or deformations.

We recommend that you keep an exhaustive control of elevator inspections in the “inspec-
tion log” that can be found on page 30 of the manual
Do not use the lift if leaks are detected in the pneumatic system or in the hydraulic system,
excessively loosened nuts or seegers deformed or absent.
