Safety Signal Words
The safety signal words Danger, Warning, Caution, and Notice have the following meanings:
DANGER DANGER indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or se-
rious injury.
WARNING WARNING indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or
serious injury.
CAUTION CAUTION, used with the safety alert symbol, indicates a hazardous situation which, if
not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.
NOTICE NOTICE is used to address practices not related to personal injury.
Warranty
■Product warranty will expire 12+1 months after dispatch from Atlas Copco's Distribution Center.
■Normal wear and tear on parts is not included within the warranty.
■Normal wear and tear is that which requires a part change or other adjustment/overhaul during
standard tools maintenance typical for that period (expressed in time, operation hours or other-
wise).
■The product warranty relies on the correct use, maintenance, and repair of the tool and its component
parts.
■Damage to parts that occurs as a result of inadequate maintenance or performed by parties other
than Atlas Copco or their Certified Service Partners during the warranty period is not covered by the
warranty.
■To avoid damage or destruction of tool parts, service the tool according to the recommended mainte-
nance schedules and follow the correct instructions.
■Warranty repairs are only performed in Atlas Copco workshops or by Certified Service Partners.
Atlas Copco offers extended warranty and state of the art preventive maintenance through its ToolCover
contracts. For further information contact your local Service representative.
For electrical motors:
■Warranty will only apply when the electric motor has not been opened.

Installation Instructions
Installing the ILS Target
Disassembly of the tool and/or installations of accessories must only be performed by qualified main-
tenance personnel.
Required tools:
■Adjustable spanner
■T10 screwdriver
1. Remove the angle head.
2. Remove the circlip and the cap nut.
3. Remove the shaft and the plastic protection.
4. Screw on the cutting guide.
5. Cut the insulation. The flex cable is protected under a shield.

6. Mount the ILS Target on the tool. Start by fitting the lower half in the correct position.
When the lower half is in the correct position, the pin will fit into the slots of the motor housing, and
prevent the ILS Target from rotating.
The pin on the inside of the target can be moved between the slots, allowing for two different po-
sitions of the ILS Target on the tool: 45° (A), or flat (B).
Put the upper half together with the lower half.
7. Tighten the four T10 screws.
8. Assemble the new shorter cap nut and the circlip on the angle head. Assemble the shaft and the an-
gle head on the tool. Tighten the cap nut to specified torque.

Inserting the ILS Matrix
Be careful not to scratch the surface of the ILS Matrix. It can affect the performance of the position-
ing.
1. Remove the two T10 screws
2. Remove the cover tags.
3. Insert the ILS Matrix into the holder.
Make sure to insert the side with the clipped corners first.
4. Fasten with two T10 screws.

Preventing ESD Problems
The components inside the product and controller are sensitive to electrostatic discharge. To avoid future
malfunction, make sure that service and maintenance is carried out in an ESD approved work environ-
ment. The figure below shows an example of an appropriate service work station.

Cleaning the ILS Matrix
When necessary, clean the ILS Matrix with a damp, soft cloth. Do not use cleansers containing solvents.
Be careful not to scratch the surface of the ILS Matrix. It can affect the performance of the position-
ing.

Environmental Regulations
When a product has served its purpose it has to be recycled properly. Dismantle the product and recycle
the components in accordance with local legislation.
Batteries shall be taken care of by your national battery recovery organization.

Signalétique de sécurité
Les mots Danger, Avertissement, Attention et Avis ont la signification suivante:

ATTENTION Le mot ATTENTION accompagné du symbole d'alerte de sécurité indique une situation
dangereuse qui, si elle n'est pas évitée, pourrait entraîner des accidents mineurs ou mo-
dérés.
AVIS AVIS sert à aborder des pratiques sans rapport avec un risque d'accident corporel.
Garantie
■La garantie du produit expirera 12+1mois après l’expédition depuis de Centre de distribution de Atlas
Copco.
■L'usure normale des pièces n'est pas comprise dans la garantie.
■L'usure normale est celle nécessitant un changement de pièces ou autres opérations de réglage
et de révision pendant l'entretien courant de l'outil pendant la période donnée (exprimée en temps,
heures de fonctionnement ou autres).
■La garantie du produit repose sur une utilisation correcte, un entretien normal et des réparations ap-
propriées de l'outil et de ses composants.
■La détérioration des pièces consécutive à un entretien inadéquat ou réalisé par des parties autres
que Atlas Copco ou ses partenaires d'entretien agréés pendant la période de garantie ne sera pas
prise en charge.
■Pour éviter la détérioration ou la destruction de certaines parties de l'outil, il convient de procéder à
l'entretien de ce dernier conformément aux périodicités d'entretien recommandées et de suivre les
bonnes consignes.
■Les réparations dans le cadre de la garantie ne sont effectuées que dans les ateliers de Atlas Copco
ou par des partenaires d'entretien agréés.
Atlas Copco propose une extension de garantie et un entretien préventif à la pointe de la technologie par
le biais de ses contrats ToolCover. Pour en savoir plus, s'adresser au représentant SAV local.
Pour les moteurs électriques:
■La garantie ne s'appliquera que si le moteur électrique n'a pas été ouvert.

Instructions d’installation
Installer le ILS Target
Le démontage de l'outil et/ou l’installation d'accessoires doit être confié exclusivement à un personnel
d'entretien qualifié.
Outillage nécessaire:
■Clé réglable
■Visseuse T10
1. Retirer le renvoi d'angle.
2. Retirer le circlip et l’écrou à chapeau.
3. Retirer l'axe et la protection en plastique.
4. Visser le guide de coupe.
5. Couper l'isolant. Le câble flexible est protégé par un blindage.

6. Fixer l’ILS Target sur l’outil. Commencer par installer la moitié inférieure à la position correcte.
Lorsque la moitié inférieure est placée dans la position correcte, la broche se logera dans les fentes
du boîtier du moteur, empêchant l’ILS Target de tourner.
L'ergot situé à l'intérieur du ILS Target peut être déplacé entre les fentes, permettant ainsi deux
positions différentes du ILS Target sur l'outil: 45° (A), ou à plat (B).
Rassembler la moitié supérieure et la moitié inférieure.
7. Serrer les quatre vis T10.
8. Assembler le nouvel écrou à chapeau plus court et le circlip sur le renvoi d'angle. Assembler l'axe et
le renvoi d'angle sur l'outil. Serrer l'écrou à chapeau au couple spécifié.

Insérer le ILS Matrix
Veiller à ne pas rayer la surface de l'ILS Matrix. Cela peut affecter les performances du positionne-
ment.
1. Déposer les deux vis T10
2. Retirer les étiquettes du couvercle.
3. Insérer l’ILS Matrix dans le support.
Veiller à insérer d'abord le côté dont les coins ont été coupés.
4. Fixer avec deux vis T10.

Prévention des problèmes de DES
Les composants à l'intérieur du produit et du coffret sont sensibles aux décharges électrostatiques. Pour
éviter tout dysfonctionnement à l'avenir, veiller à effectuer les interventions d'entretien et de maintenance
dans un environnement de travail homologué ESD. La figure ci-dessous présente un exemple de poste de
travail approprié pour l'entretien.

Garantie
■Die Produktgarantie verfällt 12+1 Monate nach dem Versand aus dem Distributionszentrum von Atlas
Copco.
■Normaler Verschleiß von Teilen wird nicht von der Garantie abgedeckt.
■Unter normalem Verschleiß versteht man, dass während der für diesen Zeitraum typischen Stan-
dardwerkzeugwartung Teile ausgetauscht oder Einstellungen / Verbesserungsarbeiten durchge-
führt werden müssen (ausgedrückt in Zeit, Betriebsstunden, oder anderweitig).
■Die Produktgarantie stützt sich auf einen korrekten Einsatz, Wartung und Reparatur des Werkzeugs
und seiner Bestandteile.
■Schäden an Teilen, die als Folge einer unzureichenden Wartung oder eines falschen Einsatzes durch
andere Parteien als Atlas Copco oder deren zertifizierten Service-Partner während der Garantiezeit
verursacht werden, sind nicht durch die Garantie gedeckt.
■Um eine Beschädigung oder Zerstörung von Werkzeugteilen zu vermeiden, warten Sie das Werk-
zeug entsprechend der empfohlenen Wartungspläne und befolgen Sie die richtigen Anweisungen.
■Garantiereparaturen werden nur in Atlas Copco-Werkstätten oder von einem zertifizierten Service-
Partner ausgeführt.
Atlas Copco bietet eine erweiterte Garantie und eine vorbeugende Wartung nach dem neuesten Stand der
