TWIN MICROPHONE MOUNT
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Twin Microphone Mount accessory designed for installation of two or three microphones on one Atlas
Sound microphone stand or on a podium or lectern top.
Model TM-1 Twin Microphone Mount accessory is designed for use with all Atlas Sound microphone
Stands equipped with 5⁄8"-27 male thread.
For use in conjunction with two microphones when mounted on one microphone stand, a 5⁄8"-27 lock-cap is
provided to cover the tube-mount and offer a finished appearance.
For use in conjunction with three microphones when mounted on one microphone stand, the tube-mount
is utilized to accommodate the center microphone and the lock-cap is not required.
For podium or lectern top installation, 1" off center mounting holes are provided.
For podium or lectern top installation with three microphones, the addition of an Atlas Sound model AD-12
adapter base is recommended to mount the TM-1 accessory and to accommodate the center microphone.
Total of 8" horizontal spacing is provided between the microphone mounts to assure optimum separation
for stereo-purposes or dual microphone application.
When additional horizontal spacing or height for mounting of the microphones is desired, Atlas Sound
GN-Series gooseneck accessories or AD Series tube adapters are recommended.
TheAtlas Sound model TM-1 is 8–3⁄4" long, satin chrome finished, includes two 5⁄8"-27 captive thumb screws
for fastening of the microphones or microphone holders.
