This manual includes the main safety rules as well as important information relating to the
operation of ATN aerial work platforms, model
PIAF 10E
.
DESCRIPTION OF THE AERIAL WORK PLATFORM
This aerial work platform consists of a self-propelled all-welded steel frame. Two electric motors
ensure the drive function. Steering is accomplished by a hydraulic cylinder. A mini power unit
provides the power to supply the elevation functions. The electric energy is provided by 4 6V-
batteries with a total voltage of 24 volts.
In working mode, the work platform can only be driven on compact horizontal grounds free from
any obstacles. All four wheels must be in permanent contact with the ground. The load must be
distributed in the platform, and cannot exceed the rated load determined by the manufacturer,
whatever the position of the mast or jib. The rated load is indicated on the machine’s manufacturer
plate.
ON DELIVERY...
You must immediately carry out an overall check and note everything that might appear suspect or
abnormal.
In particular, check the following:
- Enable pedal
- Emergency stop(s)
- Drive / steer control joystick
- Jib elevation / lowering and structure rotation
- Mast elevation lowering control switch
Should you find a non-conformity…
Write immediately a claim and send a copy to ATN and to the transport company.
You have 48 hours after the delivery to file your claim.
WARNING
DO NOT REPAIR, MODIFY OR ADJUST
ANY PART OF THE MACHINE
WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN
AGREEMENT FROM ATN

GUARANTEE
FOR ANY NEW EQUIPMENT, THERE IS NO GUARANTEE, EXPLICIT OR IMPLICIT, OTHER
THAN THAT OF THE SELLER COVERING FAULTY MATERIAL OR THE DEFECTS OF
FABRICATION DRAWN UP IN THE FOLLOWING TERMS:
GUARANTEE OF NEW EQUIPMENT
“The Manufacturer guarantees each new product against any faulty material or defect of
fabrication, as his obligation and responsibility are limited under this guarantee to the repair or
replacement free of charge in his factory of any part recognized as defective in normal use and
upkeep, and the reasonable cost of repair and/or replacement of the said parts within twenty four
(24) months from the initial date of sale (5 years for steel structure) or rental with possible
purchase option, with the proviso that the start-up of the equipment by the Distributor has been
recorded by the Manufacturer.
In the case of absence of record at the Manufacturer, the date retained as the initial date of sale
or rental with possible purchase option is that on which the equipment was delivered from the
factory. This guarantee replaces any other explicit or implicit guarantee and the obligation and
the responsibility of the Manufacturer in the terms of this guarantee exclude the transport
charges or others, or any responsibility for damage whether direct, indirect or consecutive as
well as any delay due to the possible defect. This fact does not extend, for all that, the duration
of the guarantee of both the machine and the parts replaced. The guarantee is thus cancelled in
the case of use beyond its capacities or in conditions unintended by the Manufacturer, or in the
case of use of parts which have not received the approval of the said Manufacturer
THIS GUARANTEE EXPRESSLY REPLACES ANY OTHER GUARANTEE EXPLICIT OR
IMPLICIT, INCLUDING ANY IMPLICIT GUARANTEE OF MARKETING OR APPROPRIATE
ADAPTATION TO A GIVEN APPLICATION AND ANY OTHER OBLIGATION OR
RESPONSIBILITY ON BEHALF OF THE SELLER.
