1. INTRODUCTIE
Bedankt dat je hebt gekozen voor onze Auronic product! Volg altijd de veiligheidsvoorschriften
voor veilig gebruik.
1.1 Beoogd gebruik
Een convectorkachel is bedoeld als bijverwarming in huis. Het kan worden gebruikt om een
kamer op te warmen als de centrale verwarming niet voldoende is of als je slechts één
specieke ruimte wil verwarmen. Convectorkachels werken door lucht op te warmen die
vervolgens circuleert door de kamer, waardoor een gelijkmatige verspreiding van warmte wordt
bereikt. Het is belangrijk om de juiste grootte van de convectorkachel te kiezen voor de ruimte
die je wilt verwarmen en om de kachel op een veilige plaats te zetten.
De leverancier is vrijgesteld van aansprakelijkheid voor enig letsel of schade veroorzaakt door
het gebruik van het product buiten het beoogde gebruik ervan. Elke wijziging van het product
kan gevolgen hebben voor je veiligheid en garantie.

1.5 Inhoud verpakking
Controleer of de inhoud van het pakket overeenkomt met de pakbon wanneer je de verzending
ontvangt. Licht je leverancier in als er onderdelen ontbreken. Lijkt het product beschadigd, dien
dan onmiddellijk een klacht in bij de vervoerder en geef de leverancier een gedetailleerde
beschrijving van de schade. Bewaar de beschadigde onderdelen en verpakking om je klacht te
onderbouwen.

2. VEILIGHEID
Let erop dat het verpakkingsmateriaal niet in handen komt van kinderen.
Zij kunnen erin stikken!
Lees voor gebruik de handleiding en de veiligheidsinformatie zorgvuldig door. De leverancier is
niet verantwoordelijk voor het niet opvolgen van de veiligheidsinformatie over het gebruik en de
omgang met het product of schade aan eigendommen of persoonlijk letsel.
Neem altijd de volgende voorzorgsmaatregelen in acht wanneer je gebruik maakt van ‘de
Convectorkachel’, hierna te noemen ‘het product’.
2.1 Algemeen
•Let op de risico’s en consequenties die verbonden zijn aan misbruik van het product.
Misbruik van het product kan resulteren in persoonlijk letsel en schade aan het product.
•Gebruik het product alleen voor de doeleinden aangegeven in deze handleiding.
•Als het product niet goed functioneert, gevallen of beschadigd is, gebruik hem dan niet en
raadpleeg onze klantenservice.
•Het product is ontworpen en bedoeld voor privégebruik. Gebruik hem niet voor commerciële
doeleinden.
•Gebruik het product niet buitenshuis.
•Laat het product niet onbeheerd achter wanneer het in gebruik is. Als je hem niet gebruikt,
zet het product dan uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
•Het product bevat inwendig hete, gloeiende en/of vonkende delen. Gebruik het product dus
nooit in een omgeving waar brandstoffen, verf, ontvlambare vloeistoffen en/of gassen enz.

•Als je rook of een ongewoon geluid waarneemt, schakel het product dan onmiddellijk uit en
haal de stekker uit het stopcontact. Laat het product door een erkende vakman controleren
voordat je hem weer gebruikt. Trek in geval van brand eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact
voordat je de brand blust.
•De eerste keer dat het product wordt gebruikt of als hij een langere tijd niet is gebruikt, kan
deze wat geuren en dampen afgeven. Maak je geen zorgen, dit is normaal en zal vanzelf
stoppen.
2.2 Personen
•Het product mag niet door kinderen worden gebruikt tenzij ze goed worden begeleid en
geïnformeerd zijn m.b.t. het veilig gebruik van het product en de mogelijke gevaren hiervan
begrijpen. Het reinigen en onderhouden van het product mag niet door kinderen worden
uitgevoerd, behalve als ze onder toezicht staan. Houd het product en het snoer buiten het
bereik van kinderen.
•Het product kan gebruikt worden door mensen met een fysieke of mentale beperking, mits

ze goed worden begeleid en geïnformeerd zijn m.b.t. het veilig gebruik van het product en
de mogelijke gevaren hiervan begrijpen.
•Laat kinderen niet met het product spelen.
•Gebruik het product niet als je gevoelig bent voor warmte/hitte.
2.3 Gebruik
•Let op: het product wordt heet! Raak de hete oppervlaktes niet aan als het product
aanstaat. Dit kan leiden tot brandwonden en ander persoonlijk letsel.
•Gebruik het product niet in de buurt van een bad, een douche, een zwembad, of bij een
(was) bak gevuld met water. Raak het product en het stroomsnoer niet met natte handen
aan. Zorg ervoor dat het product niet in contact komt met water. Dompel het product niet
onder in water. Als er toch water in of op het product komt, zet het product dan direct uit en
neem contact op met onze klantenservice.
•Houd het product uit de buurt van hitte, ruimtes waar de temperatuur relatief hoog is en
hittebronnen zoals ovens.
•Dek het product niet af als het aanstaat. Leg nooit kussens, dekens of andere objecten op
het product of ertegenaan. Dit kan tot brandgevaar, een elektrische schok, persoonlijk letsel
of schade aan het product leiden.
•Gebruik het product niet om kleren te drogen.
•Steek geen voorwerpen door de ventilatiegaten van het product.
2.4 Elektra
•Haal het product niet uit elkaar, repareer en herstel het product niet. Dit kan schade aan het
product aanbrengen. Voor de eigen veiligheid mogen deze onderdelen alleen vervangen
worden door geautoriseerd onderhoudspersoneel. Stuur het product altijd naar een
servicecentrum voor reparaties om schade en persoonlijk letsel te voorkomen.
•Zorg ervoor dat de netspanning die op het type-aanduidingsplaatje staat aangegeven,
overeenkomt met die van je stroomnet, voor je het product aansluit.
•Gebruik geen verlengsnoer. Zorg ervoor dat het product op een geaard stopcontact is
aangesloten, waar geen andere apparaten op aangesloten zijn.
•Plaats het product op een harde, stabiele, effen en horizontale ondergrond.
•Plaats het product niet op tapijt of onder een stopcontact.
•Plaats het product zo dat het stopcontact makkelijk bereikbaar is en niet door het product
wordt afgeschermd.
•Plaats het product op minstens 1 meter afstand van meubelen, gordijnen en andere
brandbare materialen.
•Als het product in een open haardstede geïnstalleerd wordt, sluit de schoorsteen dan af om
het risico van tocht achter de haard te verminderen. Dit kan ertoe leiden dat de beveiliging
de haard uitschakelt.
•Sluit het product niet aan op een tijdschakelaar of een stroomvoorziening die regelmatig in-
en uitschakelt door een programma.
•Controleer zowel netsnoer als stekker regelmatig op tekenen van schade of slijtage en

is daarvan sprake, gebruik het product dan niet en laat het netsnoer en/of de stekker
vervangen of repareren door geautoriseerd onderhoudspersoneel.
•Als de stroom tijdens het gebruik uitvalt, zet het product dan direct uit en haal de stekker uit
het stopcontact.
•Trek niet aan het snoer om de stekker uit het stopcontact te halen.
•Verplaats het product niet door aan het snoer te trekken en draai het snoer niet.
•Zorg ervoor dat je niet over de kabel struikelt en dat de kabel niet geknakt of gedraaid is, of
vastzit.
•Leg de kabel niet op warme oppervlakken of in de buurt van olie. Laat de kabel niet over de
rand van een tafel of aanrecht hangen.
3. INSTRUCTIES VOOR GEBRUIK
3.1 Voor het eerste gebruik
Voordat je het product gebruikt, moeten de poten worden gemonteerd met behulp van de
4 meegeleverde schroeven:
1. Draai het product of leg deze op de zijkant zodat je makkelijk bij de onderkant kunt komen.
2. Plaats de poot op de juiste plek aan de onderkant van het product.
3. Schroef de poot met 2 schroeven vast.
4. Herhaal stap 2 en 3 voor de andere poot.
3.2 Gebruiken
Let op: het product wordt heet! Raak de hete oppervlaktes niet aan.
Gebruik het product niet buitenshuis.
Gebruik geen verlengsnoer.

1. Plaats het product op een stabiele, vlakke ondergrond op minstens 1 meter afstand van
meubelen, gordijnen en andere brandbare materialen.
2. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.
3. Draai de thermostaatknop met de klok mee op de gewenste stand om de
verwarmingselementen in te schakelen. De schakelaars lichten op als de
verwarmingselementen ingeschakeld zijn. Zet voor de maximale temperatuur de
thermostaatknop op MAX en zet beide schakelaars aan.
4. Als de gewenste kamertemperatuur is bereikt, draai je de thermostaatknop tegen de klok in
terug richting MIN tot je een klik-geluid hoort. De schakelaars zullen doven.
5. Het product houdt de luchttemperatuur in de kamer op de ingestelde temperatuur door
automatisch in en uit te schakelen.
4. ONDERHOUD EN REINIGING
Haal altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het product afkoelen voordat je het
schoonmaakt. Reinig de buitenkant van het product met een licht vochtige, schone doek en
maak hem goed droog. Gebruik geen schurende of agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen.
5. OPSLAG
Bewaar het product op een droge, schone plek. Bewaar het product niet in extreem hoge of
lage temperaturen.
6. WEGGOOIEN EN RECYCLEN
Denk aan het milieu en lever een bijdrage aan een schonere leefomgeving! Dit product is
onderworpen aan de Europese richtlijn (EU) 2012/19/EU. Gooi het product aan het einde van
zijn levensduur niet weg met het normale huisvuil, maar lever hem in op een door de overheid
aangewezen inzamelpunt om het te laten recyclen.

1. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing our Auronic product! Please always follow the instructions for safe
usage.
1.1 Intended use
A convector heater is meant as supplemental heating in a home. It can be used to heat up a
room if the central heating system is not sufcient or if you only want to heat one specic room.
Convector heaters work by heating up air that then circulates through the room, achieving an
even distribution of heat. It is important to choose the right size convector heater for the room
you want to heat and to place the heater in a safe location.
The supplier is released from liability for any injury or damage caused by using the product
beyond its intended use. Any modication of the product may affect your safety and warranty.

2. SAFETY
Please ensure that the packaging is kept out of the reach of children!
Risk of suffocation!
Before use, read the manual and safety information carefully. The supplier is not responsible for
failure to follow the safety information on the use and handling of the product or damage to
property or personal injury.
Always observe the following precautions when using ‘the Convector heater’, hereinafter
referred to as ‘the product’.
2.1 General
•Be aware of the risks and consequences associated with misuse of the product. Misuse of
the product may result in personal injury and damage to the product.
•Use the product only for the purposes indicated in this manual.
•If the product is malfunctioning, dropped or damaged, do not use it and consult our
customer service.
•The product is designed and intended for private use. Do not use it for commercial
purposes.
•Do not use the product outdoors.
•Do not leave the product unattended when in use. When not in use, turn the product off and
unplug it.
•The product contains internally hot, glowing and/or sparking parts. Therefore, never use the
product in an environment where fuels, paints, ammable liquids and/or gases, etc. are
kept.
•If you notice smoke or an unusual noise, immediately turn off the product and unplug the
power cord. Have the product checked by a licensed professional before using it again. In
case of re, unplug the product before extinguishing the re.
•The rst time the product is used or if it has not been used for an extended period of time, it
may give off some odors and fumes. Don’t worry, this is normal and will stop on its own.
2.2 Persons
•The product should not be used by children unless they are properly supervised and
instructed in the safe use of the product and understand its potential hazards. Cleaning
and maintenance of the product should not be performed by children unless they are
supervised. Keep the product and cord out of the reach of children.
•The product can be used by people with physical or mental disabilities, provided they
are properly supervised and instructed in the safe use of the product and understand its

potential hazards.
•Do not allow children to play with the product.
•Do not use the product if you are sensitive to heat.
2.3 Use
•Caution: the product gets hot! Do not touch the hot surfaces when the product is on. Doing
so may result in burns and other personal injury.
•Do not use the product near a bathtub, shower, swimming pool, or near a (laundry) tub
lled with water. Do not touch the product or power cord with wet hands. Do not allow the
product to come into contact with water. Do not immerse the product in water. If water does
get in or on the product, turn the product off immediately and contact our customer service
department.
•Keep the product away from heat, areas where the temperature is relatively high, and heat
sources such as ovens.
•Do not cover the product when it is on. Never place pillows, blankets or other objects on or
against the product. This may cause a re hazard, electric shock, personal injury or damage
to the product.
•Do not use the product to dry clothes.
•Do not insert objects through the ventilation holes of the product.
2.4 Electronics
•Do not disassemble, repair or restore the product. Doing so may cause damage to the
product. For your own safety, these parts should only be replaced by authorized service
personnel. Always send the product to a service center for repairs to prevent damage and
personal injury.
•Before connecting the product, make sure that the mains voltage indicated on the rating
plate matches that of your mains supply.
•Do not use an extension cord. Make sure the product is plugged into a grounded outlet to
which no other appliances are connected.
•Place the product on a hard, stable, level and horizontal surface.
•Do not place the product on carpet or under an electrical outlet.
•Place the product so that the power outlet is easily accessible and not shielded by the
product.
•Place the product at least 1 meter away from furniture, curtains and other ammable
materials.
•If the product is installed in an open hearth, seal the chimney to reduce the risk of drafts
behind the hearth. This may cause the safety device to shut off the replace.
•Do not connect the product to a timer or a power supply that regularly turns on and off by a
program.
•Check both power cord and plug regularly for signs of damage or wear, and if there is
any, do not use the product and have the power cord and/or plug replaced or repaired by
authorized service personnel.

•If the power fails during use, immediately turn off the product and unplug the power cord.
•Do not pull on the cord to unplug the product.
•Do not move the product by pulling the cord or twist the cord.
•Be careful not to trip over the cable and make sure the cable is not kinked, twisted, or stuck.
•Do not place the cable on hot surfaces or near oil. Do not leave the cable hanging over the
edge of a table or countertop.
3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
3.1 Before rst use
Before using the product, mount the legs using the 4 screws provided:
1. Turn the product or lay it on its side so you can easily reach the bottom.
2. Place the leg in the right place on the bottom of the product.
3. Secure the leg with 2 screws.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the other leg.
3.2 Operation
Caution: the product gets hot!
Do not touch the hot surfaces.
Do not use an extension cord.
1. Place the product on a stable, level surface at least 1 meter away from furniture, curtains
and other combustible materials.
2. Plug in the power cord.
3. Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the desired setting to turn on the heating elements.
The switches light up when the heating elements are turned on. For maximum temperature,
turn the thermostat knob to MAX and turn both switches on.

4. When the desired room temperature is reached, turn the thermostat knob
counterclockwise back toward MIN until you hear a click sound. The switches will turn off.
5. The product will maintain the air temperature in the room at the set temperature by
automatically turning on and off.
4. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Always unplug the product and let it cool down before cleaning it. Clean the outside of
the product with a slightly damp, clean cloth and dry it thoroughly. Do not use abrasive or
aggressive cleaning agents.
5. STORAGE
Store the product in a clean and dry place. Do not store the product in extreme high or extreme
low temperatures.
6. DISPOSAL AND RECYCLE
Think about the environment and contribute to a cleaner living environment! This product is
subject to the European Directive (EU) 2012/19/EU. At the end of its service life, do not dispose of
the product with normal household waste, but deliver it to a collection point designated by the
authorities for recycling.
