DXC-2018CA Battery Charging System
DO NOT charge the starting battery while
it is in the vehicle
DO NOT remove, service or test the hybrid battery
pack under any circumstances.
Remove the 12 volt starting battery from
the vehicle prior to charging.
• Charges 6, 8, and 12 volt batteries.
(1) Cancels a charge or
progression.
(2) Returns to the
previous menu screen.
(1) Moves the cursor
down in order to
select a menu line.
(2) Decreases certain
display values. ie CCA
(1) Selects the Menu.
Cursor line item.
(2) Press “Y” / Enter to
charge progression.
(3) Enters item.
(1) Moves the cursor
up in order to select
a menu line.
(2) Increases
certain display
values. ie CCA
When a key is pressed the tester will beep.

4. Enter the approximate battery temperature. Use the + / Up and the - / Down keys
to change the temperature. Press Y / Enter key to continue once the temperature
has been entered.
3. Connect clamps to battery.

5.  EntertheCCAratingforthebattery.Usethe+ / Up and the - / Down keys to change
the rating. Press Y / Enter key to continue once the rating has been entered.

viewed on screen by scrolling down using the - / Down button.

maximum time to complete the charge.
7. Fast Charge Mode: Quickly charges the battery up to level that it can be put
 backintoservice,andtheremainingchargewillbeputbackintothebattery
with the vehicles charging system. Full Charge Mode: Providesafullcharge
to the battery. Charge times will be longer compared to the Fast Charge Mode.
