Switch PoE 8+2 porte

1) Introduzione:

Il manuale di installazione dello switch Poe, introduce principalmente

le caratteristiche hardware dello switch, il metodo di installazione e le

precauzioni nell’installazione.

Nota: leggere attentamente il manuale prima dell’installazione per evi-

tare possibili danni al prodotto e lesioni personali durante il processo.

Nel manuale vengono adottate alcune simbologie per contrassegnare

le precauzioni nel funzionamento, ecco il signiﬁcato dei segni:

avvertimento a cui prestare attenzione

integrazioni e istruzioni necessarie aggiunte alla

descrizione dell’operazione

un promemoria di cautela; seri danni al dispositivo

o lesioni personali causati da un uso improprio

2) Generali

Lo switch PoE (Power over Ethernet), può trasmettere dati e segnali

per alcuni terminali basati su protocollo IP (es. Videocitofonia IP, Vi-

deocamere IP, ecc…) e allo stesso tempo può fornire alimentazione

48VDC per questi dispositivi.

Lo switch PoE ha generalmente tre tipologie di porte:

1) Porta di accesso per dispositivo (es. telecamera IP, AP wireless,

generalmente porte R45);

2) Porta up-link: utilizzata per la connessione con il dispositivo subor-

dinato, come switch di rete subordinati, videoregistratore di rete ecc.,

generalmente porte R45 o porte SP.

3) Porta SFP per il collegamento della ﬁbra ottica.

3) Avvertenze e precauzioni

Questi apparecchi possono essere installati all’interno di locali, nei li-

miti di temperatura indicati. Ogni altro uso e da considerarsi improprio

e vietato. Il fabbricante non risponde dei danni risultanti da un uso im-

proprio del prodotto, diverso da quanto previsto nel presente manuale.

Leggere attentamente il presente manuale in tutte le sue parti. Non

aprire il guscio dello switch quando è in funzione per evitare il pericolo

di scosse elettriche.

Il prodotto è conforme alla normativa IEEE802.3af/at (switch PoE at

tivo) per la porta e può erogare ﬁno a 30 W per una singola porta. Il

dispositivo rileva e identiﬁca automaticamente il dispositivo alimentato

conforme alla direttiva IEEE 802.3af / at.

4) Installazione

Indipendentemente dal fatto che lo switch PoE sia installato in un rack

o in da appoggio superﬁcie, prestare attenzione a quanto segue:

• Posizionare il dispositivo garantendone una buona stabilità;

• Veriﬁcare che le griglie di raffreddamento non siano occluse per

consentire la dissipazione del calore generato dal dispositivo;

Installazione in armadio rack:

Utilizzare i ganci anteriori per ﬁssare lo switch in un rack (l’aspetto dei

ganci anteriori è quello mostrato nell’illustrazione 2-1).

1) svitare le viti laterali posizionate nella parte anteriore dello switch,

installare i supporti e riavvitare le viti (vedi Fig.XX).

2) Utilizzare le viti ed i dadi forniti a corredo del dispositivo per instal-

lare lo switch all’interno di un rack

Assicurarsi che ci siano 50 mm di spazio tra i vari

dispositivi all’interno di un armadio rack per garantire

la corretta aerazione del prodotto.

Installazione da appoggio superﬁcie:

La confezione contiene 4 piedini in gomma da installare nella parte

inferiore del dispositivo, come mostrato nell’illustrazione 2-2. Veriﬁ-

care che il prodotto sia installato su una superﬁcie piana e regolare.

5) Collegamento

Prima di effettuare il collegamento di qualsiasi dispositivo all’art. VIIP-

SPOE, veriﬁcare che i dispositivi possano essere alimentati tramite

switch PoE. La connessione di uno switch PoE ad un dispositivo non

adatto potrebbe causare un danno irreparabile.

Collegare al cavo di alimentazione fornito a corredo ad una presa d’a-

limentazione 230VAC.

5.1) Connessione alle porte RJ45

Collegare un’estremità del cavo allo switch PoE e l’altra estremità al

dispositivo da alimentare (vedi Fig. 5-1).

Controllare le condizioni del LED corrispondente al connettore col-

legato:

LED attivo: connessione OK

LED spento: connessione KO, in tal caso veriﬁcare che il cablaggio sia

realizzato in modo corretto

5.2) Collegamento alla porta SFP

Inserire l’estremità della ﬁbra nella porta SFP ﬁnché il connettore è ben

stabile all’interno della stessa (vedi Fig. 5-2).

Controllare le condizioni del LED corrispondente al connettore colle-

gato:

LED attivo: connessione OK

LED spento: connessione KO, in tal caso veriﬁcare che il cablaggio sia

realizzato in modo corretto

6) Caratteristiche tecniche

Con lo scopo di migliorare i propri prodotti, AVE S.p.a. si riserva il

diritto di modiﬁcare le caratteristiche tecniche in qualsiasi momento e

senza preavviso mantenendo funzionalità e destinazione d’uso. Oltre a

quanto già descritto, le seguenti caratteristiche tecniche si riferiscono

alla temperatura ambientale di 20°C (+/- 5°C) e ad un uso normale

dell’apparecchio (ambiente residenziale).

1) Introduction:

The installation manual of the Poe switch, mainly introduces the har-

dware features of the switch, the installation method and the precau-

tions in installation.

Note: Please read the manual carefully before installation to avoid pos-

sible product damage and personal injury during the process.

Some symbols are used in the manual to mark operating precautions,

here is the meaning of the signs:

2) General

The PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch can transmit data and signals for

some terminals based on IP protocol (eg IP video door entry systems,

IP cameras, etc…) and at the same time can supply 48VDC power

for these devices.

The PoE switch generally has three types of ports:

1) Access port for device (eg IP camera, wireless AP, generally R45

ports);

2) Up-link port: used for connection with the subordinate device, such

as subordinate network switches, network video recorder etc., usually

R45 ports or SP ports.

3) SFP port for connecting the optical ﬁber.

3) Warnings and precautions

These appliances can be installed inside rooms, within the indicated

temperature limits. Any other use is to be considered improper and

prohibited. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from

improper use of the product, other than that provided for in this ma-

nual. Read this manual carefully in all its parts.

Do not open the switch shell when it is in operation to avoid the danger

of electric shock.

Temperature and Humidity for normal operation and storage:

The product complies with IEEE802.3af / at (PoE switch active) for the

port and can deliver up to 30W for a single port. The device automati

cally detects and identiﬁes the powered device compliant with the IEEE

802.3af / at directive.

4) Installation

Regardless of whether the PoE switch is rack mounted or surface

mounted, pay attention to the following:

• Position the device ensuring good stability;

• Check that the cooling grids are not occluded to allow the dissipation

of the heat generated by the device;

Installazione in armadio rack:

Use the front hooks to secure the switch in a rack (the appearance of

the front hooks is as shown in illustration 2-1).

1) unscrew the side screws located on the front of the switch, install

the supports and tighten the screws (see Fig. XX).

2) Use the screws and nuts supplied with the device to install the

switch inside a rack.

Make sure there is about 50 mm of space between

the various devices inside a rack cabinet to ensure

proper ventilation of the product.

Surface-mounted installation:

The package contains 4 rubber feet to be installed on the bottom of the

device, as shown in illustration 2-2. Verify that the product is installed

on a ﬂat, even surface.

5) Connection

Before connecting any device to art. VIIP-SPOE, verify that the devices

can be powered by PoE switch. Connecting a PoE switch to an unsui-

table device could cause irreparable damage.

Connect the supplied power cable to a 230VAC power socket.

5.1) Connection to RJ45 ports

Connect one end of the cable to the PoE switch and the other

end to the device to be powered (Fig. 5-1).

Check the condition of the LED corresponding to the connected

connector:

LED active: connection OK

LED off: KO connection, in this case check that the wiring is

done correctly

5.2) Connecting to the SFP port

Insert the end of the ﬁber into the SFP port until the connector

is stable inside it. (Fig. 5-2).

6) Technical characteristics

With the aim of improving its products, AVE S.p.a. reserves the right

to change the technical characteristics at any time and without notice

while maintaining functionality and intended use. In addition to what

has already been described, the following technical characteristics re-

fer to an ambient temperature of 20 ° C (+/- 5 ° C) and to normal use

of the appliance (residential environment).
