(EN) Dear customer,
In your hands you are now holding a wrist bandage for supporve post-operave and
post-traumac therapy. You can maximize the benets of the product by its proper use
and maintenance.
Avicenum ORTHO 360 wrist bandage Type 02 is manufactured by the circular kning
technology. The materials used are non-irritang and latex-free. The product achieves the
desired therapeuc eect by exerng compression pressure in the wrist area (you must
choose the correct size). The therapeuc eect of the bandage is enhanced by the combi-
naon with a hook-and-loop fastener. It is intended for wrist support in post-traumac and
post-operave therapy. The product is most eecve during physical strain. The product
is also suitable for sports acvies. You should remove the product during longer breaks.

Avicenum ORTHO 360 wrist bandage Type 02 is a medical device intended for use both at
home and in medical facilies.
Intended use:
A medical device designed to support the wrist during post-traumac and post-operave
therapy, in case of abby muscles, inammaon, or injury to wrist ligaments and tendons
and to prevent swelling. This product is also suitable for sports acvies as a therapeuc
or prevenve aid.
Indicaons:
• wrist support in post-operave or post-traumac therapy
• instability and weakness of wrist ligaments
• sprain or injury of wrist ligaments and tendons
• inammaon and swelling in the wrist area
• carpal tunnel syndrome
• prevenon of injury and wrist strengthening (e.g., during sporng acvies)
If this is the rst me you use a wrist bandage, consult your doctor or have your medical
condion regularly examined.
Contraindicaons:
• damaged skin
• acute weeping skin manifestaons
• lymphac swelling
• hypersensivity to materials used

• limb sensivity disorders (e.g., peripheral neuropathy)
Your doctor should consider the use of the product in view of the known contraindicaons
and possible risks compared to the product’s therapeuc benets.
Target group:
Paents with wrist instability, paents undergoing post-operave or post-traumac thera-
py of the wrist, and paents with the above indicaons. The product is intended for use on
healthy, intact skin. The product is intended for all age groups and both sexes. The product
may be used in pregnancy without limitaon.
Side eects:
Side eects may occur especially when using a wrong size of the product or if the product is
used outside strenuous acvies. If the product is too ght or too ght support tapes, the-
re may be pressure sores, impaired blood circulaon due to compression of blood vessels,
or deterioraon of sensivity due to excessive compression of the nerves. Sensive and
hypersensive individuals may experience skin irritaon (redness, itching, or blistering) at
the point of contact of the product with the skin.
How to choose the correct size:
In order to achieve the desired eects, you must select the correct size of the product.
Determine the size by measuring the circumference at the points indicated in the gure.
Note:
Any swelling or instability of the wrist should be examined by your doctor. If this is the rst
me you experience swelling or instability of the wrist, consult your doctor before using
the product. Do not use the product if you do not know the cause of the swelling or in-
stability of the wrist. Always consult your doctor before combining the product with other
medical devices (e.g., compression arm sleeves).

If you are on the border between two sizes, choose the bigger one. If you have dicules
choosing the size of the product, visit a specialized medical supplies store or directly the
manufacturer.

With a correctly selected size:
• you should feel noceable but not unpleasant pressure at the wrist area
• the product does not slide or roll down
• the product does not choke at any point
Size and manufacturer informaon can be found on the tag sewn at the top edge of the
product.
Method of use:
Put on the bandage by gradually pulling it over the wrist and poking the thumb through
the side hole. Never put on the bandage by merely pulling the top edge – always put it on
gradually. When pung on, the product may not come into contact with sharp objects
(e.g., jewellery) or long nails.
Stretch the product evenly without creases for eecve distribuon of pressure.
To increase the therapeuc eect, put a support tape over the bandage. You can see the
method of applicaon in the picture:
If you use body cosmecs, wait about 15 minutes aer applicaon before you put on the
product.
In the case of visible mechanical damage to the product, stop wearing it and preferably
replace it with a new product.
Care and maintenance:
Avicenum ORTHO 360 wrist bandage Type 02 is a medical device intended for repeated
use by a single person. The product will maintain its properes and safety for 12 months
from the rst use under these condions:
• the product can be washed in a washing machine (maximum washing temperature
30 °C, gentle cycle) in a soapy soluon or using a special preparaon for washing
compressing stockings and sleeves using a wash bag
• do not use fabric soeners
• do not use centrifugaon; squeeze the wet product between two towels
• dry the product in a horizontal posion away from a direct heat source (radiator, sun)
• do not iron the product
• the maximum number of washing cycles is 120
• store in a dry and dark place, preferably in the original packaging

• do not interfere mechanically in the product, do not repair places damaged by use,
do not cut the edges of the product
• pay special aenon to the hook-and-loop fastener on the support tape:
Contact of the hook-and-loop fastener with the knit area may cause damage
Contact of the hook-and-loop fastener with other materials (fabric, texles, dirt and
grime) may damage it and cause it to stop working in whole or in part
• the product may not come into contact with organic solvents or bleaching agents
The product is safe to use for 60 months from the date of manufacture. This date is inclu-
ded in the product’s batch number in the format YY/MM-1234567 where YY is the year and
MM the month of manufacture.

Stop using the product immediately if:
• If it shows signs of mechanical damage (replace the product)
• Your health has deteriorated which could be associated with the use of the product
– consult your doctor at once
Composion:
60 % PAD Nylon, 40 % elastan LYCRA®, metal
This medical device does not contain an acve substance, including human blood or plas-
ma derivaves, ssues or cells of human origin or derivaves thereof, ssues or cells of
animal origin or derivaves thereof.
Disposal:
The product can be disposed of with normal household waste or in a texle waste con-
tainer. Although the product is intended for use on healthy and intact skin, it may be con-
taminated with body uids during use. In that case, dispose of the product as an infecous
material.
The material used is not toxic unless burned. Do not burn the used bandage.
