User Manual
Thank you for choosing the STP-2 stereo phono pre-amplifier as part of your audio system. A compact ultra-
low noise pre-amp that amplifies phono signals from a turntable to line level signals. The unit can be powered
using the provided UK power supply or additional 9V battery if preferred (not supplied) and comes fitted with
a grounding screw to eliminate additional noise from inference.

Connections:
Operation:
1. Ensure your turntable is fitted with a magnetic cartridge.
2. Connect the phono outputs and ground screw from the turntable to the RCA inputs (1&2) and ground
screw (4) of the STP-2 via a good quality RCA & ground lead (109.543UK recommended).
3. Connect the RCA outputs (8&9) and ground screw (4) from the STP-2 to the line/auxiliary inputs and
ground screw of the mixer or amplifier.
4. Connect the supplied 9V power adaptor to the 9V DC input (6) and move the on/off switch (5) to “ON”.
5. Alternatively loosen the battery compartment screws (3&7), lift the lid upwards and insert a 9V PP3
battery, ensuring you match the polarity.
6. The STP-2 will now boost the turntable output from phono to line level.
