consistsofoneorseveralAXISA1001NetworkDoorControllerswithbuilt-inaccessmanage-
mentsoftware.ThesystemiscompletedwithstandardITequipment,readers,doorlocksand
doorpositionsensorsthatmeettheinstallationrequirements.
Thesystemcanbemanagedfromanycomputeronthe
network.Thebuilt-inweb-basedsoftwareincludesa
wizardforeffectivehardwarecongurationandeasy
cardholdersandsystemmanagement.
AXISEntryManagerisafullydistributedsolutionwhere
alldataisstoredinthecontrollers–investmentand
maintenanceofacentralunitorserverisnotneeded.
DataisautomaticallysynchronizedbetweenallAXIS
A1001NetworkDoorControllersinthesystem,which
willcontinueitsnormaloperationandbufferevents
locallyevenifthereisanetworkfailure.
Thecontrollersupportsmostreadertypes,providing
maximumexibility.TheuseofPoweroverEthernet
reducestheneedforseparatepowercablestodoorac-
cessoriesandproprietarydatacables.Theplenum-rated
controllerisdesignedforwallandceilingmount.
AXISEntryManagerisascalableandfuture-proofsolu-

nectorsforadditionalequipmentsuchasdoorlocks,readersanddoor
positionsensorssimpliescableconnectionandhelptoavoidinstalla-
tionmistakes.Forexiblemountingtheunitisdesignedforceilingand
wallmount.ThePoEsupportwillreducetheneedforseparatepower
cablesandpowersuppliestodooraccessories.TheunitisttedwithDIN
clipsforeasymountinginaseparatecabinet.
Automaticunitdiscoveryandcongurationwizard
Whenthehardwareinstallationatthedoorisreadyandtheunitiscon-
nectedtothenetwork,itcanautomaticallybediscoveredfromacon-
nectedcomputer.ThecongurationwizardinAXISEntryManagerhelps
userstocompletetheinstallationandverifythattheadditionalequip-
mentisconnectedproperly.Thewizardallowsforremoteverication
eliminatingtheneedforassistanceateachdoortoverifythatthesys-
temisworkingproperly.

AXISEntryManagermakesiteasytoaddnewcontrollersasthesystem
grows.Usercredentialsandscheduleswillautomaticallybesharedwhen
anewunitisconnected.
