TheLiveViewpageintheproductprovidesaccesstoH.264andMotionJPEGvideostreams,andtothelistofavailablestream
proles.Otherapplicationsandclientscanaccessvideostreamsdirectly,withoutgoingviatheLiveViewpage.

ThebitratecanbesetasVariablebitrate(VBR)orConstantbitrate(BR).VBRadjuststhebitrateaccordingtotheimage
complexity,usingupmorebandwidthforincreasedactivityintheimage,andlessforlowerimageactivity.Whentheactivityin
thesceneincreases,thebitratewouldusuallyincreaseaswell.Ifthereisasurplusinbandwidth,thismaynotbeanissueand
selectingVariablebitrate(VBR)willbesufcient.Butifbandwidthislimited,itisrecommendedtocontrolthebitratebyselecting
Constantbitrate(BR).Whentheactivityinthesceneincreases,VBRadjuststhebitrateaccordingtothecomplexity,usingup
morebandwidthforincreasedactivityinthescene,andlessforlowersceneactivity.BRallowsyoutosetatargetbitratethat
limitsthebandwidthconsumption.
TheBRtargetbitrateworksliketheceilingofatent.Itlimitsthebitrate,whilemaintainingsomeexibility.Thebitratemaybounce
upanddownwithinthesettargetbutwhenitnearsthesettargetvalue,thelimitationkicksin.However,becauseBRwillalways
prioritizeacontinuousvideostream,itallowstemporaryovershootsfromthetargetbitrate.Becausesettingatargetvalueprevents
thebitratefromincreasing,framerateandimagequalityareaffectednegatively.Topartlycompensateforthis,selectwhichvariable
shallbeprioritized,framerateorimagequality.Notsettingaprioritymeansthatframerateandimagequalityareequallyaffected.
