•Removeandreapplypowertothedeviceandchecktheindicatorsduringpowerupsequence.
•Verifythatthevoltageatthepowerinletis100240VAC.
•Verifythatthepowerinletcableisfunctional.
Thepowereddevicedoesnotoperate
•VerifythatthepowereddeviceisdesignedforPoEoperation.
•VerifythatastandardCategory5e/6,straightwiredcablewithfourpairsisused.
•VerifythatthepowereddeviceisconnectedtotheDATA&POWEROUTport.
•Ifanexternalpowersplitterisinuse,verifythatitworks.
•VerifythatthereisnoshortoveronanyofthetwistedpaircablesorovertheRJ45connectors.
•Ifpossible,reconnectthesamepowereddeviceintoadifferentmidspan.

•Verifythattheportonthefrontpaneliscontinuouslylit.
•VerifythatastandardCategory5e/6,straightwiredcablewithfourpairsisused.

•VerifythattheEthernetcablelengthislessthan100m(330ft)fromtheEthernetsourcetotheload/remoteterminal.
•Ifanexternalpowersplitterisinuse,verifythatitworks.
•Ifpossible,reconnectthesamepowereddeviceintoadifferentmidspan.
