Thepalm-sized,standaloneAXISM7001isdesignedfor
installationclosetoananalogcamera.Itsupportsall
typesofanalogcamerasincludingPTZ(pan/tilt/zoom)
andPTZdomes.
AXISM7001isperfectforsmallandlargeanalogvideo
installations,especiallywhereanIPnetworkinfrastruc-
tureisalreadyinplace.Itssmallsizealsomakesitideal
foruseindiscreetsurveillanceapplications,forexample,
inretailstoresandbanks,andincamerahousings.
AXISM7001candelivertwosimultaneousvideo
streams,oneinH.264andanotherinMotionJPEG,at
fullframerateinallresolutionsuptoD1(720x480in
NTSC,720x576inPAL).
TheH.264videocompressionformatdrasticallyreduces
bandwidthandstoragerequirementswithoutcompro-
misingimagequality.MotionJPEGissupportedforin-
creasedexibility.Thevideoencoderalsoprovidesvideo
motiondetection.
AXISM7001ispoweredoverEthernetusingthesame
cableasfordatatransmission,whichsimpliesinstalla-
tion.
