MotionJPEG,orMJPEG,isadiitalvideosequencethatismadeupofaseriesofindividualJPEGimaes.Theseimaesarethen
displayedandupdatedataratesufcienttocreateastreamthatshowsconstantlyupdatedmotion.Fortheviewertoperceivemotion
videotheratemustbeatleast16imaeframespersecond.Fullmotionvideoisperceivedat30(NTSC)or25(PAL)framespersecond.

Toresettheproducttothefactorydefaultsettins:
1.Disconnectpowerfromtheproduct.
2.Pressandholdthecontrolbuttonwhilereconnectinpower.SeeProdutoverviewonpage3.
3.Keepthecontrolbuttonpressedfor15–30secondsuntilthestatusLEDindicatorashesamber.
4.Releasethecontrolbutton.TheprocessiscompletewhenthestatusLEDindicatorturnsreen.Theproducthasbeenreset

devicearelocatedondifferentsubnets,youcannotsettheIPaddress.Contactyournetwork
administratortoobtainanIPaddress.
TheIPaddressisbeinused
byanotherdevice
DisconnecttheAxisdevicefromthenetwork.Runthepincommand(inaCommand/DOSwindow,
typepingandtheIPaddressofthedevice):
•Ifyoureceive:Replyfrom<IPaddress>:bytes=32;time=10...
thismeansthattheIPaddressmayalreadybeinusebyanotherdeviceonthenetwork.
ObtainanewIPaddressfromthenetworkadministratorandreinstallthedevice.
•Ifyoureceive:Requesttimedout,thismeansthattheIPaddressisavailable
forusewiththeAxisdevice.Checkallcablinandreinstallthedevice.
PossibleIPaddressconict

samesubnet
ThestaticIPaddressintheAxisdeviceisusedbeforetheDHCPserversetsadynamicaddress.
