2.Adjustthesizeandplacementoftherectangleinthecamera’slieiewaroundtheareaofinterest,forexample

Autotrackingdetectsmoementinthecamera'seldofiew,forexampleamoingehicleorperson,andfollowsthemoingobject
untilitstopsordisappearsfromthemonitoredarea.Incasethereismuchsimultaneousmoement,theproductselectstheareawith
themostamountofmotion.Whentherearenomoingobjectsintheeldofiew,thecamerareturnstothehomeposition.
Important
•Theautotrackingfeatureisdesignedforareaswherethereisalimitedamountofmoement.
•Ifbothautotrackingandguardtourareenabled,werecommendusingthePTZcontrolqueue.Inthecontrolqueue,
guardtourhaslowerprioritythanautotracking,preentingtheproductfromstoppingautotrackingtomaintainorstart
aguardtour.
•Autotrackingdoesnotfollowobjectbehindpriacymasksorobjectsinexcludeareas.Youcanalsosetupmaximumlimits
sothattheautotrackingonlytriggerswithinacertainrangeinthelieiew.

Decidewhichcompressionmethodtousebasedonyouriewingrequirements,andonthepropertiesofyournetwork.The
aailableoptionsare:
MotionJPEG
MotionJPEGorMJPEGisadigitalideosequencethatismadeupofaseriesofindiidualJPEGimages.Theseimagesarethen
displayedandupdatedataratesufcienttocreateastreamthatshowsconstantlyupdatedmotion.Fortheiewertoperceiemotion
ideotheratemustbeatleast16imageframespersecond.Fullmotionideoisperceiedat30(NTSC)or25(PAL)framespersecond.
TheMotionJPEGstreamusesconsiderableamountsofbandwidth,butproidesexcellentimagequalityandaccesstoeeryimage
containedinthestream.
H.264orMPEG-4Part10/AVC
Note
H.264isalicensedtechnology.TheAxisproductincludesoneH.264iewingclientlicense.Installingadditionalunlicensed
copiesoftheclientisprohibited.Topurchaseadditionallicenses,contactyourAxisreseller.
H.264can,withoutcompromisingimagequality,reducethesizeofadigitalideolebymorethan80%comparedtotheMotion
JPEGformatandbyasmuchas50%comparedtotheMPEG-4standard.Thismeansthatlessnetworkbandwidthandstoragespace
arerequiredforaideole.Orseenanotherway,higherideoqualitycanbeachieedforagienbitrate.
