•Removeandre-applypowertothedeviceandchecktheindicatorsduringpowerupsequence.
•Verifythatthevoltageatthepowerinletiseither24VCorbetween10-26VDC.
•Verifythatthepowerinletcableisfunctional.
Thepowereddevicedoesnotoperate
•VerifythatthepowereddeviceisdesignedforPoEoperation.
•VerifythatastandardCategory5e/6,straight-wiredcablewithfourpairsisused.
•VerifythatthepowereddeviceisconnectedtotheDT&POWEROUTport.
•Ifanexternalpowersplitterisinuse,verifythatitworks.
•VerifythatthereisnoshortoveronanyofthetwistedpaircablesorovertheRJ45connectors.
•Ifpossible,reconnectthesamepowereddeviceintoadifferentmidspan.
Theenddeviceoperates,butthereisnodatalink
•Verifythattheportonthefrontpaneliscontinuouslylit.
•VerifythatastandardCategory5e/6,straight-wiredcablewithfourpairsisused.
