OLED Touchscreen
The Axium KPC2.8 keypad is
a fully pro rammable 2.8” colour OLED
Bein capable of learnin and sendin IR commands the KPC2.8 can be used as a standalone
keypad to control virtually any IR controlled
device.
When the KPC 2.8 is used with an
Axium multi

is provided

way RS232 control and pa in outputs are available on the KPC 2.8 when used with the
Axium AX-
R4 RS232 router and the prebuilt Axium applets.
Setup by the Axium Keypad mana er software, the KPC2.8 includes a host of features to simplify
pro rammin and enhance amplifier and source equipment control.

Software Installation
and Programming
The Axium Keypad Mana er Software is
exclusively used to
confi uration (pro rammin ) and
firmware update the KPC2.8. The pro ram runs on
a Windows XP or Windows Vista PC.

Run the AKM installer from the product CD.
When first connectin the KPC 2.8 via USB

The KPC2.8 chassis mounts directly to the wall surface
- Requires
a standard sin le an flush box for fixin .

Cut out the required hole in the wall above the flush box

Terminate an RJ45 plu to the CAT5E cable
- Connect the RJ45 plu to the KPC2.8

Secure the keypad in position usin the supplied Flush

Connect the USB lead to a PC runnin Axium keypad mana er,
Power the keypad via the CAT5E cable –
to either an Axium multi-zone amplifier,

Pro ram the keypad with the required
keypad
- Clip the Cover plate into position.
Wiring
Use CAT5E ‘home runs’ with a maximum len th of 300m.
Terminate with a RJ45 plu . Use the
