The Infrared Body Thermometer HT702 is a high
quality product incorporating the latest
technology and tested in accordance with
international standards.
The HT702 is intended for the periodic
measurement and monitoring of human body
temperature in the home.It is intended for use on
people of all ages.
Please read the
following instructions to achieve the most
accurate temperature and safe operation.
With proper care and use,your thermometer
will provide you reliable reading for many years.
And usually operated by
medical staffs, patient himself or his families. Not
used for life support or rescue. If the device is
invalid will not cause any accident, no need
special or emergency measures.

It is very dangerous if the patients make
self-judgement and treatment by means
of measuring results. So please be sure to
follow the doctor's guidance.
Self-judgement may worsen the illness.
The thermometer is only for
temperature. So don't use for other
parts ( such as in the Oral).

Changing from Celsius to Fahrenheit
To toggle the measurement scale between

Remove the battery cover on the back and

the current time by pressing the SCAN button.
When time has been set,the time and ambient
temperature will be shown in turn.

please remove the battery.
NOTE
This thermometer is supplied with
one lithium battery,type CR2032 .
Remove the battery cover by
sliding it in the direction shown.
Take out the battery and put a new
one.

If long time no use of this thermometer,please
remove the battery.
In order to protect the environment, please
send the waste batteries to the appropriate
collection points according to the national
or local laws.
Note:
Please properly dispose of the batteries away
from small children and heat.

on LCD.

How to measure forehead temperature
Make sure the probe cap is on,
“ ” flashes on LCD,and press the
SCAN button to directly measure the
forehead temperature.
(Refer to picture3.5)
Put the tip of probe cap vertically
on one temple with certain force and
move it to other temple through
forehead.Release the SCAN button
and you have the right measurement.
(Refer to picture 3.5.1-3)
A long beep sound will emit to acknowledge the
completion of measurement.Read the recorded
temperature from the LCD display.

When “ ” flashes, it means you can
measure the ear temperature now.
Straighten the ear canal by gently pulling
the middle of the ear back and up.
Insert the probe snugle into the ear canal
and press the SCAN button.Release the button
and wait for the beep sound.This is the
indication that confirms the end of measurement.

Remove the thermometer from the ear canal.
The LCD displays the measured temperature.

If the ear hole is small and difficult to
insert, please pull the ear back softly
(Adult:pull the ear upward softly;
Child:pull the ear downward softly),
Do not insert forcibly, and please
gently insert close to the ear.

Precaution
Patients should not drink,eat,or exercise
before/while taking the measurement.
Never immerse this thermometer into
water or other liquids
Accumulation of ear wax on the
probe tip canresult in less
accurate temperature readings
cross infection between users.
Therefore,it is essential that a clean probe tip
is used before each measurement.
In order to assure the accurate
readings,please wait at least
30 seconds after continuous
measurements.
Use an alcohol swab or cotton tissue
moistened with alcohol to clean the
thermometer casing and the
measuring probe.
For accurate results,wait at least 30 minutes
after exercising,bathing or returning from the
outdoors.
Wait at least 1 minute between readings.
The measurement of forehead is equivalent
to the oral temperature.
Keep your forehead dry and clean as the
liquid(water or sweater)effects the measure
result.
Because everyone’s temperature varies
slightly,keep a record of your body temperature
to serve as a reference when judging a fever.
If multiple readings are taken over a short
period of time,use the average of those readings.
