•All Free Services, subsequent Paid services & other repairs must be availed at only
Authorized Bajaj Vehicle Dealers & RecommendedAuthorized Service Dealers.
•Preventive Maintenance Parts, Consumables and Wear & tear parts to be replaced
as per recommended schedule & are chargeable to Customers.
•Any failure due to use of bad quality fuel, non - genuine oil & parts, failure due to
fitment of local make accessories are not covered under warranty.
•Do not fit any accessories like buzzer, bigger Horn, remote, load carrying
accessories, engine guard, fuel tank cover, water splash guard etc as this affect
vehicle performance. Warranty is not applicable for any impact on vehicle
performance due to such usage.
•
Warranty claim in respect of Proprietary parts like Tyre and Battery are warranted by
their respective manufacturers and should be claimed on them directly by the
Customer.
Engine Oil
Engine oil replacement is at 10000 kms
& top up is at every 5000 kms.
•Use BS VI compliant Bajaj Genuine Oil (JASO MA2 API SN grade) only.
•Pulsar RS 200 : 20W50 BSVI compliant (alternate 10W50 BSVI compliant).
•Dominar 250 BSVI & 400 BSVI : 10W50 BSVI compliant.

Fuel Tank
Fuel tank recommended Capacity is
13 Litres & NO Reserve.
•Always use BS VI Fuel only. Never add any type of Fuel additive.
•Fuel Tank must have minimum 3 Litre petrol for smooth functioning of
vehicle.
•Never fill fuel above recommended fuel tank capacity mentioned in Owner's
Manual.
•Do not remove EVAP bush & ensure that fuel tank cap air breather is not blocked.
Tyre pressure
Pulsar RS 200 BS VI & Dominar 250 BS VI

Front
- 25 PSI
Rear (Solo)
-28 PSI & Rear (with Pillion)-32 PSI.
Dominar 400 BS VI

Front
- 28.5 PSI / Rear (Solo & Pillion)-32 PSI
•
Pulsar RS 200 BS VI, Dominar 250 BS VI & Dominar 400 BS VI vehicles are fitted
with Tubeless tyres.
•
Always maintain tyre pressure as per specifications. Low tyre pressure may cause
wobbling / faster wear of tyre & excess tyre pressure may result in bumpy ride.
Mileage
Drive at 40
- 50 kmph speed to get
optimum mileage
Tips for getting optimum mileage :
•Maintain recommended tyre pressure in both wheels (as mentioned above).
•Do not overload the bike, avoid harsh braking and cut off engine if you want to wait
for more than 2 minutes.
•
Mileage should be checked as full tank to full tank method as per details provided in
Owners Manual.
•Contact Service Advisor for additional information.
AHO
Automatic headlight ON
-
This is Government Regulation.
Automatic headlight ON
When engine is running, head light will get ON automatically as per Hi / Low selector
switch position.

ABS
Anti lock braking system
-
This is Government Regulation.
•
Twin channelABS unit is fitted with both wheels . Whenever both brakes are applied,
Customer would feel light pulsations in Front brake lever& Rear brake pedal.This
Indicates ABS is active.
•ABS Indicator is provided in Speedometer & once vehicle speed crosses 5 kmph
speed ,it goes OFF. If this indicator continuously glows while vehicle running, then
vehicle may have some issue related to ABS. Customers are advised to bring the
vehicle to BAJAJ Authorized Workshop for necessary inspection.
Don'ts
Remember following points for
optimum performance of your vehicle
•Do not drive vehicle with low petrol level (i.e
Minimum 3 Litres), Low Fuel Level
indication will glow in such condition.
•Do not apply pressurized water jet on silencer, engine & electrical parts.
•Never add any additional electrical accessories e.g. buzzer, bigger horns, remote
etc. This will damage / reduce battery life, wiring harness and affect vehicle
performance.
•Never drive vehicle in battery disconnected condition & or with low battery
indication.
•Do not touch in vicinity of high temperature zone e.g. engine, catalytic
converter, silencer & starter motor.
During initial 2000 kms. running do

New Functionality
Battery cranking feature &
Side Stand switch interlocking with
Self Start.
•To increase life of battery Cranking ON-OFF duration control feature is introduced.
(1) 1st crank ON (5 sec) & crank OFF for 2 sec.
(2) 2nd crank ON (5 sec) & crank OFF for 2 sec.
(3) 3rd crank ON (5 sec) & crank OFF for 10 sec.
(4) After a gap of 10 sec. next cranking cycle continues.
•
If side stand is DOWN (Operated condition) & vehicle is in gear, then self start
will be disabled.
New Technology
Bajaj BS VI vehicle has
Two stage catalytic converter,
Oxygen sensor, Throttle body with
Throttle position sensor, TMAP sensor,
Stepper motor, Fuel Injector,
Engine Temperature sensor,
Fuel Pump with ECU.
Digital Speedometer
•
Malfunction Indicator lamp is provided in Speedometer. It will glow if any abnormality
is noticed in Ignition / BS VI engine components.
•Cut down speed of vehicle if Engine RPM pointer is in red zone.
•Bring vehicle to authorized dealership if any fault indication icon glows like Low
Battery, High Engine Oil Temp, Low oil
pressure, Malfunction Indicator,ABS Indicator
etc.
• Don’t accelerate / rev up throttle, while starting the Engine.
Dominar 400 BS VI Digital Speedometer -
It shows Gear Indication, Alarm messages in Text form & Average Mileage,Average
speed in selected TRIP and Distance to empty.

Mobile charging socket provision near Ignition switch
•The charger socket has been provided with cap to protect charger socket from
dust & water entry. Always ensure charger cap is firmly closed on socket when
charger socket is not in use / washing of vehicle and in the event of rain.
•
The charger socket can be used for charging mobile only in engine running condition.
•The charger socket will supply output voltage only in engine running condition.
•Customer to use suitable USB cable for mobile charging.
•Do not use mobile phone while driving . Momentary lapse in concentration might
result in an accident.
Carrier unit navigation (Mobile Holder mounting)
provision
above speedometer
•Customer to purchase mobile holder from local market & fix it on the Carrier unit
navigation. Fit mobile in horizontal direction in mobile holder so that
speedometer is
visible to rider.
•Max allowed payload 700 gm, mobile + holder)
•Ensure mobile is firmly secured in mobile holder.
NOTE : Bajaj Auto will not be responsible for any damages of mobile.
Extended grab handle with provision for Top case
assembly fitment
•Grab handle should not be used to lift the vehicle from back side, it may result in
damage to grab handle.
•The max allowed pay load on grab is 7 kg.(Top case inclusive). Do not exceed
allowable load limit as it may cause damage to grab handle.
•Customer to purchase top case assembly with base plate from local market
Recommendation GIVI E300 N2 Make.
•Before installation of top case assembly on Grab handle, back rest assembly needs
to be removed
•Ensure to assemble top case as forward as possible with respect to pillion seat.

New Feature (For Dominar 400
BS VI Only)
Provision for fitment of Saddle guard
•Max allowed pay load in saddle bag is 5kg each side.
•Customer can purchase soft saddle bags from local market.
•Recommended max saddle bag dimension LXWXH in mm can be 390X200X310.
•Use saddle bag straps with saddle stay to hold it in its position & avoid saddle bag
dangling else it may result in damage to saddle guard, destabilize the bike & risk
the rider safety.
•Ensure there is sufficient gap between saddle bag & adjacent vehicle parts.
•Ensure that saddle bags are not fouling with rear LH & RH side indicators &
exhaust assembly.
•
Avoid keeping sharp objects in saddle bag which can damage the bag & later body
parts.
•Rear mono Shocker spring pre-
load to be increased to suit vehicle payload. Please
take help of BAL authorized workshop.
•Warranty is not applicable for any damage arising due to incorrect saddle bag
assembly resulting into loading of neighboring parts.
•
Rider to ensure symmetrical mounting of the saddle bag for uniformly distribution of
load between left & right.

Fuel tank cap
Fuel tank cap operation
•
To open the fuel tank cap, open the flap. Insert the key in the lock & turn it clockwise
& lift fuel tank cap.
•To lock the 'Fuel Tank Cap' insert the key in the lock and turn it clockwise and press
fuel tank cap from top giving thumb pressure on top surface. 'Click’ sound ensures
cap is fully locked.
•While operating fuel tank cap do not give pressure on tank cap flap.
• Don't attach metallic ‘Key Chain’ as it may damage paint of petrol tank cover.

•Carry out chain lubrication using Bajaj Chain lube spray at every 500 Kms

•Carry out all PM Service & other repairs at only Authorized Bajaj Vehicle Dealers &

•Do not carry combustible material on bike.
•Do not keep cloth near parts like silencer/RR unit.
•Do not fit extra electrical accessories.
•Do not replace fuse with higher capacity fuse. Never bypass fuse.
•Do not cut wiring conduit / wires midway. Do not repair wiring harness instead
replace for safety.
•Do not ground any wire for checking current-spark
•Do not fill petrol up to brim to avoid spillage. In case of fuel leakage / smell do not
start the vehicle & take help of authorised BAL service workshop.
•While parking vehicle overnight take precautions to avoid rat entry / bite of electrical
parts.
