repeat steps 2 - 3. If the music plays from the speakers
in the spa, the connection is complete.

PAIR SMART DEVICE
Follow these steps to pair your smart device with the
bbaTM3 amplifier (D).
1 - Power up the spa.
IMPORTANT: All paired devices are erased from
the bbaTM3 amplifier when power to the spa is
cycled. While the bbaTM3 forgets your smart device
when the spa power is cycled, your smart device
might not forget the bbaTM3 amplifier. In this case, an
error message may appear if you try to reconnect.
You may need to have your smart device “forget”
bbaTM3, and only after that connect to the bbaTM3
amplifier again to avoid such error messages.
2 - Start at the Main screen. The water temperature is
displayed by default (A). Press the TEMP button
to begin navigation.
3 - The Set Temperature will appear and begin flashing
(B). While the Set Temperature is still flashing, press the
LIGHT button until BT appears (C).
BT stands for Bluetooth. BT may not appear if control
system (E) did not detect the bbaTM3 amplifier (D)
4 - Press the TEMP button to turn ON/OFF the bbaTM3
amplifier. The Main screen appears (A) when the TEMP
button is pressed.
5 - No visual cue indicates whether the bbaTM3 amplifier
is On or O.
6 - Turn On the Bluetooth function of your smart device
or music device.
7 - On your smart device, click search for Bluetooth
device. Make sure the smart device is close enough to
the spa tub, so the smart device can pair with the
bbaTM3 amplifier.
8 - On your smart device, select “BBA Spa Music” from
the pairing list. If “BBA Spa Music” does not appear,
repeat steps 1 - 7.
9 - Some smart devices will connect automatically,
but with others you will need to select “Connect.” Play
music on your smart device. If music does not play,
repeat steps 2 - 4. If the music plays from the speakers
in the spa, the connection is complete.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Scenario 01
Problem: The error message “BT Comm Lost” (A)
appears on the panel display.
Solution: The control system has lost communication
with the bbaTM3 amplifier (B). Contact customer support
for help.
Scenario 02
Problem: When you try to connect your music device
to Aux In on the bbaTM amplifier, the Aux In connectors
on your bbaTM amplifier are dierent than these (C).
Solution: Your spa is equipped with an earlier version
of bbaTM (1 or 2). Contact customer support for help.
Scenario 03
Problem: Song title appears only sometimes or never.
Solution 1: A few music player apps never send song
title and other info over Bluetooth, so try another app.
Also, some music player apps don’t send song title if
playing automatically in the background, only if the app
is “visibly running” on the device, so try “opening” the
app which is playing in the background.
Solution 2: If the song title never appears, this can
happen for a couple of other reasons. One, you may
have an older bbaTM amplifier. Two, you may have an
older panel. Contact customer support for help.

system (E) did not detect the bbaTM3 amplifier (D).

page are used to illustrate the scenario.
Scenario 05

on my panel (spaTouchTM 3, spaTouchTM 2, spaTouchTM 1).
Reason: Some music players/devices do not support
