3. Optional: Deploy Prox license
To deploy a Prox license for HID Prox, Indala, or Keri card support, present a BALTECH LicenseCard
to each reader. Successful deployment is signaled by a yellow and green LED sequence.

4. Optional: Test reader functionality
By default, the readers will now read any card’s UID (serial number) and transmit it to the host
system. You can make use of this behavior to check if the readers are up and running: Use a test
card and configure the host system temporarily to accept this card’s UID.
5. Deploy configuration

Deploy via the software tool “Uploader” (part of BALTECH ToolSuite).

your laptop to upload the
configuration wirelessly via
NFC to the target reader.
•ToolSuite: v.4.26.00 or above
•Target reader: firmware 1100 v.2.00.00 or above
•Transfer reader:
•ID-engine ZB Brick, ISO product line (10115).
LEGIC readers (10117) will not work!
Position the transfer reader on top of the target
reader and align antenna centers (i.e., card
symbols on front stickers). Tolerance is 10 mm
max. in each direction.

ConfigCard. When created,
present the card to each
reader. Successful
