Tool for Splicing and Self-Nocking

Congratulations to the purchase of your tool for splicing and self-nocking
With this handy tool you can easily repair all types of wooden shafts and
produce self-nocks.
Reparation of wooden shafts:
Introduce the final part that you want to repair, in the tool and fix it in the right
position by tightening the screws.
Fix now the tool on the work bench.
The next step is now to grind the free standing extremity by using sandpaper, as
you can see on the photo.
Repeat the same procedure with the second shaft.
Coat now the glue on the polished shaft, while it is clamped and fix the second
shaft at the height of its polished extremity, for example with the aid of a bar
clamp.

Production of a self-nock:
Insert firstly a wooden shaft in the tool, in a way that the shaft precisely ends
with the inferior extremity of the tool.
Turn in now the screws tightly and clamp the tool in a way that the self-nocker
is upside.
Use now a jig saw for sawing out the self –nock.
