1.1 General safety
• Ths applance comples wth the nternatonal safety
standards.
• Do not use the applance outdoors and n the
bathroom.
• No responsblty or warranty clam shall be assumed
for damages arsng from msuse or mproper handlng
of the applance.
• Never attempt to dsmantle or separate the mounted
parts of the applance.
• Only use the orgnal parts or parts recommended by
the manufacturer.
• Always use the applance on a stable, flat, clean, dry
and non-slp surface.
• Do not start to cook coffee wthout puttng water
nto the cookng pot.

• Do not put any substances apart from coffee, sugar
and nto the cookng pot.
• Coffee Machne s desgned to operate at 4-37°C
80% relatve humdty.
• Do not drnk the Greek cooked coffee usng the
cookng pot.
• Due to the manufacturng technology, steam and
odour may arse n the heatng element of the
applance durng the ntal use. Ths s normal. They
wll dsappear after a few cycles.
• Do not move the applance when t s stll hot or when
there s lqud nsde the cookng pot.
• Avod contactng the hot surfaces. Hold the cookng
pot only by ts handle; otherwse there s the rsk of
burnng. Cookng pot gets hot durng cookng.
• The base (heatng surface) on whch the cookng pot
s placed gets hot durng operaton. Therefore, do not
touch ths area whle usng and untl the applance
gets cold.
• Ensure that the applance s swtched off before
movng t.

• For addtonal protecton, ths applance should be
connected to a household resdual current crcut
breaker of maxmum 30 mA.
• Connect the applance to a grounded outlet protected
by a 16 ampere fuse.
• Do not use t f the power cable or the applance tself
s damaged.
• Do not use the applance wth an extenson cord.
• Dry the seat of cookng pot before pluggng n the
applance and seatng the parts.
• Do not mmerse the applance, power cord, or power
plug n water or any other lquds.
• Do not touch the applance or ts plug wth damp or
wet hands.
• Poston the applance n such a way that the plug s
always accessble.
• Prevent damage to the power cable by not squeezng,
bendng, or rubbng t on sharp edges. Keep the power
cable away from hot surfaces and naked flame.

• Make sure that there s no danger that the power
cord could be accdentally pulled or that someone
could trp over t when the applance s n use.
• Unplug the applance f any falure occurs.
• Unplug the applance before cleanng t and never
clean t when t s n use.
• Do not pull the power cable of the applance to unplug
the applance from the outlet and do not wrap ts
power cable around the applance.
• Your mans power supply should comply wth the
nformaton suppled on the ratng plate of the
applance.
• Do not use the applance n or near places where
combustble or nflammable places or materals are
present.
• Do not use the applance next or close to heat
resources (hob, grll, heater core, stove etc.).
• Keep the applance away from steam resources and
avod usng t n envronments contanng excessve
steam.

• Do not use the cookng pot wth any other heater
(hob and etc.) apart from the applance.
• The applance s desgned to be used n homes, the
ktchens of the employees at offces, stores and other
workng envronments, and n the guest rooms at the
hotels, motels and other accommodaton places. Ths
applance s not ft for professonal use.
• Do not use the applance for anythng other than ts
n tended use.
• Ths applance can only be used to cook coffee.
• Extreme cauton s advsed when beng used near
chldren and persons who are restrcted n ther
physcal, sensory or mental abltes.
• Ths applance may be used by chldren who are at
the age of 8 or over and the people whose physcal,
perceptve or mental sklls are mpared or who are
nexperenced or not knowledgeable about the
applance as long as they are supervsed or nformed
and made understood the safe use of the applance
and the encountered dangers. Chldren should not
play wth the applance.

not be performed by chldren unless they are
controlled by ther elders.
• If you keep the package materal keep t away from
chldren.
• Make sure the applance s kept n a place out of the
reach of chldren.
1.2 Complance wth the WEEE drectve and
dsposal of the waste product
Ths product does not nclude harmful or prohbted materals spe-
cfed n the "Regulaton for Supervson of the Waste Electrc and
Electronc Applances" ssued by the Mnstry of Envronment and
Urbansaton. Ths product conforms to the WEEE regulaton. Ths
product has been manufactured from hgh qualty parts and mate-
rals whch are recyclable and re-usable. For ths reason, do not dspose of
ths product wth the domestc or other types of wastes at the end of ts ser-
vce lfe. Take t to a collecton pont whch s dedcated to recyclng of electrc
and electronc applances. Ask the local authorty n your area for these col-
lecton ponts. Help protect the envronment and natural resources by recy-
clng used products.

1.3 Package nformaton
Package of the product s made of recyclable materals n accor-
dance wth our natonal legslaton. Do not dspose the package
waste wth the domestc wastes or other types of wastes, take
them to the collecton ponts whch are recommended by the local
authortes.
1.4 Plug Wrng
The moulded plug on ths applance ncorporates a 13 A fuse. Should the
fuse need to be replaced an ASTA approved BS1362 fuse of the same ra-
tng must be used. Do not forget to reft the fuse cover. In the event of
losng the fuse cover, the plug must not to be used untl a replacement
fuse cover has been ftted. Colour of the replacement fuse cover must be
the same colour as that vsble on the pn face of the plug Fuse covers are
avalabe from any good electrcal store.
•Fiting a different plug
•As the colours of the wres n the mans lead of ths applance may not
correspond wth the coloured markngs dentfyng the termnals on
your plug, proceed as follows:
•Brown cable = L (Lve)
•Blue cable = N (Neutral)
