1.1 General safety
•Ths applance comples wth the nternatonal
safety standards.
•Do not use the applance outdoors and n the
bathroom.
•No responsblty or warranty clam shall be as-
sumed for damages arsng from msuse or mp-
roper handlng of the applance.
•Never attempt to dsmantle or separate the
mounted parts of the applance.
•Only use the orgnal parts or parts recommen-
ded by the manufacturer.

•Always use the applance on a stable, flat, clean,
dry and non-slp surface.
•Do not put any substances apart from coffee
and sugar nto the coffee-makng pot.
•Do not drnk the cooked Turksh coffee usng
the coffee-makng pot.
•Turksh Coffee Machne s desgned to operate
at 4-37°C 80% relatve humdty.
•Due to the manufacturng technology, steam
and odour may arse n the heatng element of
the applance durng the ntal use. Ths s nor-
mal. They wll dsappear after a few cycles.
•WARNING: When makng coffee, do not move
the applance and do not remove the coffee-
makng pot.
•Do not move the applance when t s stll hot or
when there s lqud nsde the coffee-makng
pot.

•The coffee-makng pot and the heatng surfa-
ces get hot durng use. For ths reason, do not
contact the heatng surface or the pot durng
and after use (untl t cools down).
•WARNING: When makng coffee, there mght be
some hot steam over the pot. Avod contactng
these areas to prevent the effects of the hot
steam.
•Avod contactng hot surfaces and hold the pot
only by handle.
•Ensure that the applance s swtched off be-
fore movng t.
•The base (black glass surface) on whch the cof-
fee-makng pot s placed gets hot durng ope-
raton. Therefore, do not touch ths area whle
usng and untl the applance gets cold.
•Ths applance should be connected to a max-
mum 30 mA domestc fault current protecton
fuse for addtonal protecton.

•Use the applance wth a grounded plug.
•If the supply cable s damaged, mmedately
stop usng t to prevent any danger and have t
replaced by the manufacturer, servce agent or
smlarly qualfed personnel.
•Do not use the applance f the applance
tself or any part of t s damaged. Contact the
authorsed servce.
•Do not use the applance wth an extenson
cord.
•Do not mmerse the applance, power cord, or
power plug n water or any other lquds.
•Do not touch the applance or ts plug wth damp
or wet hands.
•Poston the applance n such a way that the
plug s always accessble.

•Prevent damage to the power cable by not squ-
eezng, bendng, or rubbng t on sharp edges.
Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces
and naked flame.
•Make sure that there s no danger that the
power cable could be accdentally pulled or that
someone could trp over t when the applance
s n use.
•Unplug the applance before cleanng t and
never clean t when t s n use.
•Do not pull the power cable of the applance to
unplug the applance from the outlet and do not
wrap ts power cable around the applance.
•Your mans power supply should comply wth
the nformaton suppled on the ratng plate of
the applance.
•Do not use the applance n or near places where
combustble or nflammable places or materals
are present.
