•Do not put any substances apart from coffee
and sugar nto the coffee-makng pot.

•Turksh Coffee Machne s desgned to operate
at 4-37°C 80% relatve humdty.
•Due to the manufacturng technology, steam
and odour may arse n the heatng element of
the applance durng the ntal use. Ths s nor-
mal. They wll dsappear after a few cycles.
•WARNING: When makng coffee, do not move
the applance and do not remove the coffee-
makng pot.
•Do not move the applance when t s stll hot or
when there s lqud nsde the coffee-makng
pot.

•The coffee-makng pot and the heatng surfa-
ces get hot durng use. For ths reason, do not
contact the heatng surface or the pot durng
and after use (untl t cools down).
•WARNING: When makng coffee, there mght be
some hot steam over the pot. Avod contactng
these areas to prevent the effects of the hot
steam.
•Avod contactng hot surfaces and hold the pot
only by handle.
•Ensure that the applance s swtched off be-
fore movng t.
•The base (black glass surface) on whch the cof-
fee-makng pot s placed gets hot durng ope-
raton. Therefore, do not touch ths area whle
usng and untl the applance gets cold.
•Ths applance should be connected to a max-
mum 30 mA domestc fault current protecton
fuse for addtonal protecton.

•Use the applance wth a grounded plug.
•If the supply cable s damaged, mmedately
stop usng t to prevent any danger and have t
replaced by the manufacturer, servce agent or

1.4 Plug Wrng
The moulded plug on ths applan-
ce ncorporates a 13 A fuse. Should
the fuse need to be replaced an
ASTA approved BS1362 fuse of
the same ratng must be used. Do
not forget to reft the fuse cover. In
the event of losng the fuse cover,
the plug must not to be used untl
a replacement fuse cover has been
ftted. Colour of the replacement
fuse cover must be the same colo-
ur as that vsble on the pn face of
the plug Fuse covers are avalabe
from any good electrcal store.
Ftng a dfferent plug
•As the colours of the wres n
the mans lead of ths applance
may not correspond wth the co-
loured markngs dentfyng the
termnals on your plug, proceed
as follows:
•Brown cable = L (Lve)
•Blue cable = N (Neutral)
•Green/yellow cable must be con-
nected to ground (E) lne
•Wth the alternatve plugs a 13 A
fuse must be ftted ether n the
plug or adaptore or n the man
fuse box. If n doubt contact a
qualfed electrcan.

2.1 Intal use
Read the whole user manual before usng the product.
Make sure that the devce s straght and balanced on a flat, clean, dry and
non-slp surface.
Place the product vertcally
on a flat, clean and dry sur-
face.
Slghtly pull the coffee-ma-
kng pot (15) out of ts slot.
Wash the water tank (10) and
the coffee makng pot (15) by
hand and dry them.
To obtan a tasty coffee, make sure that the nsde of the coffee-
makng pot (15) s dry and clean.
Make sure that there are no water drops underneath the coffee-
makng pot (15) when preparng coffee. Otherwse, an annoyng
nose wll be heard when the water drops get nto contact wth
the hot base.

Insert the plug (11) n the wall-
socket. Swtch the On/Off
button (12) to On (I) poston
- All buttons on the control
panel (1) wll turn whte.
Open the cover of the wa-
ter tank. Holdng the hand-
le, slghtly pull t up to remove.
Fll the water tank (10) up
to a level between mn. and
max. levels. Close the cover
agan and re-nstall t.
If you want, you can also fll the water tank (10) wthout comp-
letely removng t. Repeat the same process after the applance
gves a water depleted warnng (5).
To fll the pump and water system wth water and
bleed the ar out of the system:

Place the coffee-makng pot
nto the left compartment he-
atng surface (14). Press the
left compartment coffee-ma-
kng button for 3 servngs (2).
Once the water pumpng pro-
cess s over, press and hold
the same button for 3 se-
conds to end the coffee-ma-
kng process.
Take the coffee-makng pot
(15) and dran the water n t
down the snk.

Ths way, proper operaton of the pump n the applance s ensured.
WARNING:
Repeat ths process also after you remove/
place the water tank from/nto ts place and before brewng
coffee.
To adjust the water amount accordng to the sze cup:
Small cup for one servng 60 ml on average.
Medum cup for one servng 70 ml on average.
Large cup for one servng 80 ml on average.

Place the coffee-makng pot
(15) nto the left compart-
ment heatng surface (14).
Press the left compartment
coffee-makng button for 1
servng (4).
Once the water pumpng pro-
cess s over, press and hold
the same button for 3 se-
conds to end the coffee-ma-
kng process and dran the
water nsde the coffee-ma-
kng pot (15) nto your cup.
If the water you have poured
into your cup is too little
or too much, press the cup
size adjustment button to
set it to small, medium or
large (9). You can press the
cup size adjustment button
(9) to switch between lev-
el. Once the LED of the de-
sired cup size turns on, end
the process.
The cup sze LED wll show the level to whch the product s set.
Repeat the water amount adjustng process when you change
the cup sze.Repeat the water amount adjustng process when
