1.1 General
•Carefullyreadthefollowingimpor-
tant information regarding installa-
tion safety and maintenance. Keep
this information booklet accessible
for further consultations.
•Theappliancehasbeendesigned
as a exhausting version (external
exhaust) or as a filter version (inter
air recycle) cooker hood.
1.2 Safety Precaution
•Take care when the cooker hood
is operating simultaneously with
an open fireplace or burner that
depend on the air from the en-
vironment and are supplied by
other than electrical energy, as the
cooker hood removes the air from
the environment which a burner or
fireplace need for combustion.
•Provideadequateventilationinthe
environment for a safe operation
for the cooker hood.
•Followthelocallawsapplicablefor
external air evacuation
•Applianceshallonlybeusedwith
rated voltage and frequency.
•Thereisafireriskifcleaningisnot
carried out in accordance with the
instruction.
•Thereshallbeadequateventilation
of the room when the range hood
is used at the same time as appli-
ances burning gas or other fuels.
(Not applicable to appliances that
only discharge the air back into the
room).

force the supply cord..

for the filters and a fire hazard.
•Constantly check food frying to
avoid that the overheated oil may
become a fire hazard .
•Disconnecttheelectricalplugprior
to any maintenance.
•Childrendon’trecognizetherisks
of electrical appliance. Therefore
use or keep the appliance only un-
der supervision of adults and out of
the reach from children.
•If the power cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufac-
turer or a qualified service engi-
neer in order to avoid a harzad.
•Keep electrical appliances out of
reach from Children or infirm per-
sons. Do not let them use the ap-
pliances without supervision.

•The exhaust air must not be discharged into a
flue which is used for exhausting fumes from
other appliances burning gas or other fuels. (Not
applicable for appliances which only discharge
air back into the room)
•The minimum distance between the support-
ing surface for the cooking vessels on the hob
and the lowest part of the range hood: When the
range hood is located above a gas appliance,
this distance shall be 65cm. If the instructions
for installation for the gas hob specify a greater
distance, this must be taken into account. (The
distance of 65cm can be reduced for non com-
bustible parts of range hoods and parts operating
at safety extra low voltage provided these parts
do not give access to live parts. Distance may
bereducedto60cmtoalignwiththeAGAcode.
•Regulations concerning the discharge of air have
to be fulfilled

xing device in accordance with the
instructions may result in electrical
hazards.
3 Installation Instructions
The cooker hoods should be placed at a distance of
65-75cm from the cooking surface for best effect.

Way one: (See Pic 2)
•Toinstallontothewalldrill4holesofØ8mmon
a suitable place according with the centre dis-
tance of hole in the back of the cooker hood.
•Insertthenutintotheholes.
•Insertthescrewsintothenutandtights.
•Putupthecookerhoodontothefixedscrews.
•Thenusetheattachedaccessoriesenclosedto
turn the screws into the two holes of inside the
hood, and then fix the screws to tighten the hood
onto the wall.
•Puttheonewayvalveontothecookerhood.
Way two: (See Pic 2)

•Drill6holesof4mmdiameteratthebottomof
the hanging cupboard.
•Puttheonewayvalveonthecookerhood,then
install the cooker hood on the bottom of the cup-
board, tighten the hood with enclosed 6 screws.
•Installtheadjustedboardonthebottomofthe
hood in order to keep out the gap between hood
back and cupboard.
3 Installation Instructions
A
There are 2 methods for ventilation,
including ‚horizontal ventilation‘
and‘ vertical ventilation‘. Please pay
attention to the ventilation method
when installation.
Horizontal ventilation:
As pic. 4A shown , please use the cover to seal
the outlet on the top, then the air can be vented
from back.
Vertical ventilation:
Aspic48shown,pleaseusethecovertosealtheout-
let on the back, then the air can be vented from top.

Air ventilation setting
Outdoor air ventilation:
Turntheadjustertooutdoorposition(pic.5A),install
the outlet, turn on the cooker hood, then the air will
be vented from the outside outlet.
Indoor air ventilation:
Turntheadjustertoindoorposition(pic.5B),install
the outlet cover, turn on the cooker hood, then d
from the inside outlet.
4 Operation
The switch is operated as below (see
pic. 6) :
1. Press "0", the motor will be off.
2. Press the button to “low”, “middle” and
“high”,the motor will be turned on at “ low”,
“middle” and“ high” speed respectively.
3. Press “light”, the light will be on. Press it
again,the light will be off.

5 Use and Maintenance
Changing and cleaning the filter.
The methods are as below (pic7) :
1. Put the filter into the water of 40-50°C,Put
some detergent in , and leave it for 2-3 min-
utes . Then use the soft brush to clean it with
proper strength , in order not to damage the
filter.
2. The filter can be cleaned by dish washer. Put
the filter into the dish washer and put some de-
tergent in , then turn the temperature to 60°C.
Allthefiltersaremadeofmetal.Pleasedonotuse
any corrosive detergent when cleaning .
BPlease unplug before cleaning.
Changing the light
• Before changing the lights, make sure that the
appliance is plugged off.
• Open the filter , see beside picture.
• Change the Max. 40W E14 olive-shaped bulb.
• Replace the filter to the original position.
