Preface
The Belkin Firewire 800 3-port PCI card is fully
functional IEEE 1394b Controller card, which
supports Data Transfer Rate up to 800Mbps.
It is compliant with OHCI specifi cation Revision
1.0 and protocol enhancement as defi ned in
P1394a draft 2.0.

Installation:
1 Hardware Installation
1. Turn off the computer, unplug the power cord,
disconnect all peripheral devices and remove
the system cover.
2. Take the PCI card out of its anti-static bag and
push it into the fi rst empty PCI slot.
3. Reconnect all peripheral devices, install the
system cover and plug in the power cord.
2 Driver Setup
Turn on your computer and place the driver CD
in your CD-ROM. The driver will be installed
automatically.

Installation :
1 installation du matériel
1. Éteignez l’ordinateur, débranchez le
câble d’alimentation, débranchez tous
les périphériques et retirez le capot de
l’ordinateur.
2. Retirez la Carte PCI de son sac antistatique et
insérez-la dans un emplacement PCI libre.
3. Rebranchez les périphériques, replacez le
capot et branchez le câble d’alimentation.
2 Installation du pilote
Allumez votre ordinateur et placez le CD
contenant le pilote dans votre lecteur de CD-
ROM. Le pilote s’installe automatiquement.

La Carte PCI FireWire 800 à 3 Ports est une carte
contrôleur IEEE 1394b entièrement fonctionnelle
et prend en charge un débit allant jusqu’à 800
Mbps. Conforme à la Révision 1.0 de l’OHCI

Installation:
1 Hardware-Installation
1. Fahren Sie den Computer herunter, entfernen
Sie das Netzkabel und die Peripheriegeräte
und nehmen Sie die Abdeckung des
Computers ab.
2. Entfernen Sie die antistatische Hülle der PCI-
Karte und setzen Sie die PCI-Karte in einen
freien PCI-Steckplatz ein.
3. Schließen Sie alle Peripheriegeräte an,
befestigen Sie die Abdeckung des Computers
und schließen Sie das Netzkabel an.
2 Treibereinrichtung
Fahren Sie den Computer hoch und legen Sie die
Treiber-CD in Ihr CD-Rom-Laufwerk ein.
Der Treiber wird automatisch installiert.

Inleiding
De 3-poorts Firewire 800 PCI-kaart van Belkin is
een volledig functionele IEEE 1394b controller-
kaart, die overdrachtssnelheden tot 800 Mbps
ondersteunt. De kaart voldoet aan de OHCI-
specificatie revisie 1.0 en de protocolverbetering
zoals vastgelegd in P1394a conceptversie 2.0.

Installatie:
1 Installatie van de hardware
1. Zet uw computer uit, ontkoppel de
voedingskabel en alle randapparatuur en
verwijder tenslotte de metalen behuizing van
uw computerkast.
2. Haal de PCI-kaart uit antistatische
beschermhoes en druk hem vast in de eerste
beschikbare PCI-sleuf.
3. Sluit al uw randapparatuur weer aan, doe de
metalen behuizing weer op zijn plaats en sluit
de voedingskabel weer aan.
2 Setup van het stuurprogramma
Zet uw computer aan en doe de
stuurprogramma-cd in uw cd-romstation. Het
stuurprogramma zal automatisch geïnstalleerd
worden.

Instalación:
1 Instalación del hardware
1. Apague el ordenador, desenchufe el cable
de alimentación, desconecte todos los
dispositivos periféricos y retire la tapa
protectora.
2. Extraiga la tarjeta PCI de la funda anti-estática
e introdúzcala en la primera ranura PCI vacía.
3. Conecte de nuevo todos los dispositivos
periféricos, coloque la tapa protectora del
sistema y enchufe el cable de alimentación.
2 Instalación del driver
Encienda el ordenador y coloque el CD del driver
en el CD-ROM. El driver se instalará de manera
automática.

Installazione:

1. Spegnere il computer. Staccare il cavo
di alimentazione. Disconnettere tutte le
periferiche e togliere il coperchio del sistema.
2. Togliere la scheda PCI dal contenitore
antielettrostatico ed inserirla in uno slot PCI
libero.
3. Collegare di nuovo tutte le periferiche,
installare il coperchio e collegare il cavo di
alimentazione.
2 Impostazione del driver
Accendere il computer ed inserire il CD per
l’installazione del driver nell’apposito drive. Il
driver sarà installato automaticamente.
