After entering the flat number press this button to call the flat.
If a mistake is made entering the flat number, use this button to clear the
display.
This button rings reception with a single press (optional)
Used for residents to gain access or deliveries during set times, a 4 digit
code maybe required (optional)
A> Each press causes the displayed letter to increment by 1 in the range A
down to Z
<Z Each press causes the displayed letter to decrement by 1 in the range Z
down to A

Call sequence
When the caller keys in the flat/dwelling number and the button is pressed at the
entrance panel it causes the videophone to ring and the amber lamp to flash.
The entrance panel will display ‘CALL’ while the phone is ringing. The videophone
will continue to ring for a period or until the handset is picked up, at which time the
entrance will display ‘TALK’. The visitor can now be seen on the videophone and 2
way conversation can occur; at the same time the green door lamp will flash to
highlight the button.
The call may be terminated by replacing the handset or more usually by pressing the
button to allow the visitor access through the entrance at which time the
display at the entrance will say ‘OPEN’; the speech and picture will persist for a
further 3 seconds.
Silent viewing
When the videophone is ringing the button on the videophone can be pressed
instead of lifting up the handset; this will stop the videophone ringing and enable the
visitor to be viewed for a period or until the button is pressed to release the
door. If you wish to converse with the caller the handset can be picked up and
operation is then the same as the above section.
Call Mute
The videophone ringer can be muted when you do not wish to be disturbed. Caller
mute is activated by pressing the button on the videophone, which then
illuminates in red as a reminder. The handset must be on the hook for this to work.
Pressing the button a second time will disengage the mute function. The Mute
button can be used to turn the ring on or off, or off for a timed period depending on
installation settings.
Door Status Indication (optional)
The green lamp on the videophone will illuminate to warn that a door has been
left open.
Coded Entry (optional)
Press the button, the word ‘CODE’ will be displayed, enter the assigned 4 digit
code, the display will change to ‘OPEN’ and the door is now unlocked.
