uct in order to inform yourself about safety in-
structions as well as proper handling.
Please read the operating instructions very
carefully before using the product. This way,
you can be assured that you benefit from all
advantages that this system has to offer and
protect yourself and others from harm.
The BEMER products are designated only for
the described, intended use according to the
operating instructions.
Application principles
.
The standard general full body application is carried out with
the applicator module B.BODY* using a maximum average
intensity of 35 T, which corresponds to the basic plan (BP)
and is used for the general improvement of the overall physical
wellbeing of the body.
B.BODY is the standard applicator module used for the basic
plan, and has the same positive effect regardless which side of
the mat you choose to use. The body position on the B.BODY*
should be in the middle of the mat. It does not matter if the head,
legs, or both, of taller users extend beyond the edges of the mat.
You will recognize the head area of the B.BODY from the con-
nection cable.
For use with the Sleep Program, the B.BODY can be installed in
the bed with the help of the attachment belt (on page 27).
People with limited physical movements may be “covered” by the
B.BODY *, which they can use in either a sitting or lying position.
User information
.
The additional applicator modules B.SPOT and B.PAD are
intended for targeted and intensive application of individual
body parts, working with a maximum flux density of 100 T.
The targeted application should follow the application of the
basic plan and should be applied to shoulder, waist, back and
lower extremities.
B.SPOT is an intensively active applicator module for use in
localized and targeted application. B.SPOT is attached to the
universal B.GRIP holder and held on the body area to be treat-
ed. Alternatively, the holder and applicator module can also
be attached to the part of the body in need of application us-
ing the attachment strap provided.
B.PAD is an intensively active applicator module for targeted,
small surface application on individual body parts. The B.PAD
is especially attractive because of its flexibility, and can be at-
tached with the help of a Velcro fastener strap to nearly every
conceivable part of the body. The B.PAD can provide a partic-
ularly valuable services when used on disabled or mobility-im-
paired individuals.
The B.LIGHT module can be used for superficial cosmetic
application. The light-emitting diodes create a monochromatic
and highly effective photobiological red light. This stimulates
the
skin and connective tissue cells to produce additional energy-
rich compounds. The effect of the B.LIGHT is comparable to
the effect of cold laser applications.
* Applies to the B.BODY Classic and B.BODY Professional.

Special safety instructions for the B.LIGHT
•
It is recommended that all skin diseases caused
by bacteria or fungi, as well as light allergies and
phototoxic reactions, be treated by a physician.
•
Light emitted by the LEDs may not be pointed
directly into the eyes. Use protective goggles
provided!
•
Anybody in the vicinity of the B.Light should not
look directly at the flashing LEDs.
•
Do not use any sharp-edged or pointed objects
to clean the B.LIGHT.
.
The B.BOX Classic and B.BOX Professional offer 10 different in-
tensity levels and three predefined programs. The intensity levels
are applied during the generalized full body application accord-
ing to the basic plan, while the programs P1-P3 are carried out in
a step-by-step manner (increasing in intensity over time) within
the scope of the targeted application. The existing, predefined
programs cover the wide range of application requirements
needed for daily use.
Frequency of application
Whenever possible, the BEMER application should be carried
out on a daily basis. Intermittent applications will result in a
lessened effect and longer application durations.
There is no hard and fast rule for the distribution of applications
throughout the day. It depends on the goal and the situation of
the individual user.
•
We recommend one to two applications during the day, as
well as the application of the Sleep Program for prevention,
maintaining overall health, and supporting the body's perfor-
mance.
•
For application of BEMER in acute cases, we recommend
delivering applications more frequently.
•
Overdosing or habituation effects of the BEMER system are
not known.
•
At home, applications can be customized according to the indi-
vidual’s situation and needs. If possible, an application should be
performed both in the morning and in the evening. Applications
would be similar to those at a physician's office or therapeutic
practice, where double applications are recommended.
•
At the physician's office, it is possible to have only one applica-
tion per day. Usually this consists of an application with the
B.BODY, and when necessary, this is immediately followed by
application with a special applicator module for localized appli-
cation (double application).

18
Practical tips for application
The effects of the specific signal configuration are
scientifically proven and essentially independent
of external influences. Nevertheless, the effects of
the application can be optimized by these few
suggestions into consideration:
•
Make sure you find a comfortable position.
•
Avoid wearing tight or constrictive clothing.
•
Choose a room with a comfortable temperature
for your application.
•
Avoid stress or distraction.
•
Abstain from coffee or tea before application.
•
Refrain from smoking cigars, pipes or cigarettes
before application.
•
Drink a glass of still (non-sparkling) mineral water
before and after application.
Basic plan
* Applies to the B.BODY Classic and B.BODY Professional.
The basic plan is aimed at the optimal support of regulatory
mechanisms with the corresponding positive physiological ef-
fects. This is the basis of the application with the BEMER prod-
ucts and defines the application standard.
The basic plan application (BP application) with the B.BODY
should generally be carried out 2x daily. Each session has a dura-
tion of 8 minutes (see “Short applications” for B.BOX Classic de-
scribed on page 33, for B.BOX Pro described on page 43).
The first cycle lasts 6 weeks, and the following ones only 4 weeks.
Begin with level 1 and increase by one level each week until level
6 is reached. From the 7th week onward, begin the new cycle
starting with level 3.

Programs on the control unit
The predefined program settings were specially developed for
the use of local applicators (B.SPOT, B.PAD, B.SIT) so that an
additional impulse can be delivered locally.
Local application is not a sufficient replacement for the
Basic Plan.
Use the local application two or three times per day, beginning
with P1, and change after two or three days to P2. The aim is not
to get to P2; if you feel uncomfortable with P2, dial back to P1.
The more chronic (the less recent) the occurrence,
the lower the program level at which you should
begin application. The more acute (the more re-
cent) the occurrence, the higher you can begin.
P1
Recommended
for home use 8 min.
Low intensity for
superficial applications
P2
Recommended for
health care facilities 16 min.
Medium intensity for
moderate to deeper
applications
P1-P2 for daily users
P3 20 min.
Strong intensity for the
deepest penetration
P3 for active athletes
Sleep Program
The Sleep Program supports of the regeneration process during
sleep. This is of major importance, especially for individuals who
are undergoing rehabilitation and those persons who are elderly.
Before going to bed, the sleep program is activated on the con-
trol unit. It will automatically send a predefined signal during the
first 2 and last 2 hours of sleep.

Both the basic plan and all other application sug-
gestions are based on many years of experience.
This experience has also proven that regular ap-
plications are more important than the optimal
choice of intensity. Successful results are achieved
most quickly through regular application. How-
ever, the duration of the applications depends on
the difficulty of the case and how long the body's
own regulatory systems have been impaired.
The older/more ill the user, the lower the inten-
sity levels that should be used. See programs on
the control unit.
General information
By means of a weak, pulsating and special multidimensional sig-
nal configuration of generated electromagnetic fields, BEMER
products are suitable to enhance cardiac function and blood
flow in living organisms.
The result is an enhanced blood flow providing an improved
distribution of nutrients to the body and enhanced elimination
of metabolic products. The BEMER technology can be used to
support prevention and to enhance physical fitness.
