SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The BENE 402 is a 4-sensor rear parking assist system. Parking assist system is an ultrasonic distance monitor system. It electrically detect
the area behind your vehicle while reversing, and alert you with audible tones.

Important notice
Parking assist system help to provide assistance when reversing and parking. Driving skills, such as slowing down, use of mirrors etc. is always
essential.
1. This unit is for vehicles with 12V DC only.
2. System should be installed by a professional auto technician.
3. Route wiring harness away from heat sources and electrical components.
4. It is strongly recommended to check the position of the sensors before the actual drilling of the holes.
5. Perform a test after installation.
FUNCTION
This system detects the distance between the car and back obstruction with four ultrasonics sensors installed at the rear bumper of car.
Parking assist will be automatically activated when the reversing gear is engaged. Immediately when obstruction is detected the system starts
alarming by beep following the table below.

Red wire (+) to be connected to positive of the reverse light.
Black wire (-) to be connected to ground on the vehicle.
The control box should be installed in a safe and dry place in-
side the rear trunk without heat, damp and splashing.
The buzzer should be installed onto dashboard or other loca-
tion with good hearing.

Installation Notice
Select place of sensors that tow bar or spare tyres are not obstructing the clear view of the sensors.
Check the size of the hole saw to be compatible to the diameter of the sensor.
Before drilling carefully check area behind proposed hole locations for wiring loom and lower bumper stiffener.
Make sure you follow the correct sensors mounting instructions - do not push the front middle part of the sensor by nger !
Sensors installation
1. Select appropriate positioning for rear sensor.
2. Measure position for the sensor location.
3. Drill hole by attached hole saw.
5. Push the sensors into hole and route wiring harness to control box.
6. Mount the control box into trunk
7. Connect all socket and wire by the wiring diagram.
FUNCTION TEST AFTER INSTALLATION
• Put the shift level to the reverse gear, then the reverse lamp is lighted and system is started.
• The system starts diagnostics connected sensors. If you hear long beep to indicate that one or more sensors have problems.
• For testing use wooden plate or at object (20x100cm)..
• Stand behind car approximately 1,5 meters and slowly reverse to the vehicle.
• Repeat step above for all sensors.
NOTES
• The system BENE 402 works with the supplied buzzer only.
• The system BENE 402 works with the supplied sensors only.
• The system BENE 402 only warn before the obstruction, not dedicated for precision measure distance out of the obstruction.
• The performance maybe affect in the following situation: heavy rain, the gravel road, bumpy road, sloping road and bush, very hot, cold or
moist weather, the sensors is covered by snow, ice, mud, dust, etc.
• Other ultrasonics, microwave or electric wave maybe affect the performance of the system.
• The manufacturer and its distributors do not guarantee or assume liability for collisions or damages while parking your vehicle.
