Your BLACK+DECKER EPD1200AVA Dustbuster®auto car
vacuum cleaner has been designed for light dry vacuum
cleaning purposes. This appliance is powered from a car
electrical system and connected by the cigarette lighter
socket. This appliance is intended for domestic use only.

of a fault. If this occurs the fuse must be
replaced together with the connector and
cable by the manufacturer or an author-
ised Black and Decker Service Centre in
order to avoid a hazard.
Warning! Do not operate the appliance
with systems which have positive ground
or a different voltage.

Assembly
Mounting accessories (fi g. B, C, D, E,
F & G)
The 2-in-1 combi nozzle (11) has a brush that can be folded
forward for dusting and upholstery cleaning
u To fi t an accessory press the accessory clip (10) and slide
the accessory onto the handle (2) (Fig. B & C).
uTo remove an accessory, press the accessory clip (10)
and remove the accessory.
The handle (2) can be removed from the hose (4) allowing
the accessories to be connected directly to the hose when
required. To remove the handle:
uUnclip the handle (2) from the appliance.
uRotate the locking ring (3) anti-clockwise to release the
clips (Fig. D).
uPull the hose (4) away from the handle (2) (Fig. E).
uFit the accessory directly to the hose cuff (3) (Fig. F)
To refi t the handle:
uRemove the accessory from the hose.
uPush the hose (4) into the handle (2). Rotate the locking
ring (3) clockwise until it clicks into place
Use
Connecting to the vehicle’s power
supply
uMake sure that the appliance is switched off.
uRemove the cigarette lighter from it’s socket.
uPlug the connector (6) into the cigarette lighter socket.
Switching on and off (fi g. A)
u To switch on, slide the on/off switch (1) to the right.
u To switch off, slide the on/off switch (1) to the left until it
clicks into the off position.
The appliance can be used for periods of up to 30 minutes
without noticeably affecting the power of a normally charged
car battery in good condition.

run the vehicle’s engine while cleaning as this can shorten the
life of the appliance.
Vacuuming
uWhen operating the appliance, make sure that the hose is
not trapped, twisted or blocked.
uThe handle (2) can be easily removed from the appliance
allowing you to reach up to 1.5 m from the appliance.
uWith the handle (2) removed, the appliance can be carried
using the built-in handle.
uThe handle (2) can also be removed from the hose (4) so
that you can connect an accessory directly to the hosecuff
(3) when required.
Cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning the dust bowl (fi g. H, I, J, K,)
Your BLACK+DECKER tool has been designed to operate
over a long period of time with a minimum of maintenance.
Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper care
and regular cleaning
uRelease the door latch (7) and open the transparent door
(5) 180° until it clicks in the open position.
uEmpty the dust container by lightly shaking over a dustbin
uClose the transparent door (5) and make sure that it clicks
into place.
Cleaning the fi lters (fi g. L, M, N, O, P,
Q, R, S, T)
u Press the bowl release button (8) (fi g. L)
u Rotate bowl (fi g. M)
u Seperate dust bowl from appliance (fi g. N)
u Clean the fi lter by rotating 3 times counterclockwise (fi g. O)
u Lift the fi lter from the dust bowl (fi g. P) and brush off any
lose dust.
u Empty any remaining dust from the dust bowl (fi g. Q).
u Ensure the dust bowl is open (fi g. R)
u Rinse out the dustbowl with warm soapy water (fi g. S).
u Wash the fi lters with warm soapy water (fi g. T).
u Make sure the fi lters are dry
u Refi t the fi lters onto the appliance twisting them clockwise
until they lock into place.
uClose the dustbowl door. Make sure the release latch (8)
clicks into place.
Warning! Before performing any maintenance or cleaning on
the appliance, unplug the appliance.
From time to time wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. Do
not use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaner. Do not im-
merse the appliance in water.
Replacing the fi lters
The fi lters should be replaced every 6 to 9 months and when-
ever worn or damaged. Replacement fi lteers are available
from your BLACK+DECKER dealer (cat. no VF90):
u Remove the old fi lters as described above
u Fit the new fi lters as described above
Protecting the environment
ZSeparate collection. This product must not be
disposed of with normal household waste.
Should you fi nd one day that your BLACK+DECKER product
needs replacement, or if it is of no further use to you, do not
dispose of it with household waste. Make this product avail-
able for separate collection.

Separate collection of used products and
packaging allows materials to be recycled and
used again. Re-use of recycled materials helps
prevent environmental pollution and reduces the
demand for raw materials.

차량의 전원 장치에 연결

전원 켜기 및끄기(그림 A)

액세서리(Acc)모드란 자동차의 엔진을 가동하지 않은
상태에서 라디오 등을 사용할 때의 자동차의 상태를 말합
니다. 본제품은 액세서리(Acc)모드로 사용하십시오.

u도어 래치(7)를 풀고 열림 위치에서 찰칵 소리가 날때
까지 투명 도어(5)를 180°엽니다.
u먼지통 위를 살짝 흔들어서 먼지통을 비웁니다.
u투명 도어(5)를 닫고 제자리에 고정되었는지 확인하
십시오.
필터 청소(그림 L, M, N, O, P, Q, R,
S, T)
u먼지통 탈착 버튼(8)을 누릅니다(그림 L).
u통을 돌립니다(그림 M).
u제품에서 먼지통을 분리합니다(그림 N).
u필터를 시계 반대 방향으로 3회돌려서 청소합니다
(그림 O).
u먼지통(그림 P)에서 필터를 들어 올리고 떨어진 먼지
를털어 냅니다.
u먼지통에서 남은 먼지를 비웁니다(그림 Q).
u먼지통이 열려 있는지 확인하십시오(그림 R).
u흐르는 물로 먼지통을 헹굽니다(그림 S).
u필터를 흐르는 물에 세척합니다(그림 T).
u필터가 건조되었는지 확인하십시오.
u제위치에 고정될 때까지 필터를 시계 방향으로 돌려
제품에 다시 장착합니다.
u먼지통 도어를 닫습니다. 잠금버튼(8)이 제자리에 딸
깍하고 들어가야 합니다.
경고! 제품의 유지 보수 또는 청소를 수행하기 전에 제품
의플러그를 뽑으십시오.
가끔씩 제품을 젖은 헝겊으로 닦아 주십시오. 연마재 및
유성 클리너를 사용하지 마십시오. 본제품을 물에 담그
지마십시오.
필터 교체
필터는 매6~9개월에 한번또는 닳거나 손상될 때마다
교체해야 합니다. 교체 필터는 BLACK+DECKER 판매
점에서 구입할 수있습니다(카탈로그 번호 VF90).
u사용하던 필터를 위의 설명에 따라 분리합니다.
u새필터를 위의 설명에 따라 장착합니다.
환경 보호
Z분리 수거. 본제품을 일반 가정용 쓰레기로
처리하면 안됩니다.
BLACK+DECKER 제품을 교체해야 하거나 더이상 쓸
