SAFETY WARNINGS AND GUIDELINES

manual in a safe place for future reference.
•This device is intended for indoor use only.
•Do not expose this device to water or moisture of any kind. Do
not place drinks or other containers with moisture on or near
the device. If moisture does get in or on the device, immediately
remove it from its power source and allow it to fully dry before
reapplying power.
•Do not touch the device, the power cord, or any other
connected cables with wet hands.
•Do not expose this device to excessive vibration.
•Do not subject the product to extreme force, shock, or
fluctuations in temperature or humidity.
•Do not expose this device to excessively high temperatures. Do

stove, radiator, etc. Do not leave it in direct sunlight.
•Do not place or install this device in an area where it can be

•Prior to operation, check the unit and power cord for physical
damage. Do not use if physical damage has occurred.
•Before plugging the unit into a power outlet, ensure that the
outlet provides the same type and level of power required by
the device.

•Unplug this device from the power source when not in use.
•Take care to prevent damage to the power cord. Do not allow it
to become crimped, pinched, walked on, or become tangled
with other cords. Ensure that the power cord does not present a
tripping hazard.
•Never unplug the unit by pulling on the power cord. Always
grasp the connector head or adapter body.
•Clean using a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use chemical cleaners,
solvents, or detergents. For stubborn deposits, moisten the
cloth with warm water.
•This device has no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to
open, service, or modify this device.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Front Panel
1. INPUT-1: USB Type-C® input.
2. LEDS: One of the LEDs illuminates to indicate the selected input.

3. SELECT: Press the SELECT button to cycle through the available
inputs.
Rear Panel
4. DC 5V: Micro USB power input for connecting the included AC
power adapter.
5. IN-3: USB Type-A and HDMI® input ports.
6. IN-2: USB Type-A and HDMI input ports.
7. OUT: Two USB Type-A ports for connecting a USB keyboard and
mouse and an HDMI output for connecting an HDMI display.

INSTALLATION
Perform the following steps to connect this KVM switch to your system.
1. Power off an unplug all equipment to be connected.
2. Place the switch in its intended location.
3. (Optional) Using a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C® to Type-C cable (not
included), plug one end into the INPUT-1 port on the front panel,
then plug the other end into the USB-C® port on a compatible
USB-C device (Android™ phones and tablets, Apple® iPad Pro®
2019, PC running Mac® OS X® 10.6.6 to 10.11, or PC running
Windows® 8/8.1/10).
4. Using a USB 2.0 Type-A to Type-A cable (not included), plug one
end into the IN-2 USB port on the rear panel, then plug the
other end into an available USB port on a Mac® or Windows® PC.
5. Using a Premium High Speed HDMI Cable (not included), plug
one end into the IN-2 HDMI port on the rear panel, then plug
the other end into the HDMI® video output on your PC.
6. Using a USB 2.0 Type-A to Type-A cable (not included), plug one
end into the IN-3 USB port on the rear panel, then plug the
other end into an available USB port on a Mac® or Windows® PC.
7. Using a Premium High Speed HDMI Cable (not included), plug
one end into the IN-3 HDMI port on the rear panel, then plug
the other end into the HDMI® video output on your PC.
8. Using a Premium High Speed HDMI Cable (not included), plug
one end into an HDMI video input on your display, then plug the
other end into the OUT HDMI port on the rear panel.

9. Plug a USB keyboard into one of the OUT USB ports on the rear
panel.
10. Plug a USB mouse into one of the OUT USB ports on the rear
panel.
11. Plug one end of the included AC power adapter into the DC 5V
micro USB port on the rear panel, then plug the adapter into a
nearby AC power outlet.
12. Plug in and power on all connected equipment. Use the SELECT
button on the top panel to switch between the connected
inputs. Verify that video is displayed and that each
keyboard/mouse controllable device can be controlled using
your connected keyboard and mouse.
Congratulations, your KVM switch is now installed and ready for use!
