Am I using the correct pairing Mode according to my phone?
It is of most importance to establish whether your mobile phone uses
Handsfree or Headset Modes for Pairing, and to use the appropriate mode
when pairing the Supertooth. If both are available, use Handsfree. (To find
out refer to table 1 in the Supertooth User Manual, or in the Bluetooth section
of your phones manual,)
Why won’t my Supertooth won’t go into Pairing mode?
When entering pairing mode Make sure you turn OFF and wait a long4
seconds before turning the Supertooth ON again. Supertooth will not go into
pairing mode unless enough OFF time has passed. (MOST IMPORTANT = This
is the most common problem and may require going through the steps of
entering Pairing Mode several times to understand the procedure.)
Follow through the Pairing Guide according to your phone in the Supertooth
Manual or below.
Be clear about the extra step required to enter Headset Mode.(see below)
Supertooth sometimes requires a few seconds to establish a connection.
Advise user to be patient while devices are searching.
Is my Supertooth Charged?
Blue Flashing Light = Battery Charged
Red Flashing Light = Battery Low needs recharging
6 volts Wall Adapter and Cigarette Socket adapter must plug into the Fast
Charge Plug on the Supertooth.
12 volts plug on the Supertooth can use a 12v DC power adapter (not
included in package).
Supertooth may need to be paired again if the battery has been fully
discharged.

Why will my Supertooth not connect when turned on or comes into
range(10m) ?
Make sure you are using the correct profile for your phone, Headset or
Handsfree.
Some Nokia phones will not connect to Supertooth immediately when in
range and require the user to press the send key on the Supertooth once, to
establish connection.
Why can’t I hear any sound from the Speaker?
Make sure the Volume control knob is turned up when making the connection
or making a call. This is the simplest solution but often is the most correct.
Why is the Supertooth noisy and distorted?
Turn Supertooth Volume knob down to a level that does not give echo or
feedback.
Also, some people like to have their phone ring loudly, but this may cause
distortion when transferred to the Supertooth speaker. In your phone, set up
a Profile with lower ringing volumes and keypad tones and activate when
using with Supertooth. (see your phones user manual for instructions).
Is it safe to use Bluetooth devices, I have heard they can allow
unauthorized connections?
For Bluetooth security reasons, once you have set up your Bluetooth devices
we recommend turning OFF the visibility option in the Bluetooth Menu of your
phone so that other Bluetooth users cannot see the contents of your phone.
(This only applies to a few mainly older Bluetooth enabled phones as most
new phones have better security)

How do I enter the Handsfree Profile Pairing Mode?
Turn OFF Supertooth and wait 4 seconds
While pressing the answer button, turn ON the Supertooth. Keep the answer
button pressed for ten seconds until you hear a distinctive tone and the
Bluetooth indicator LED changes from blinking blue to alternately blinking red
and blue. The Supertooth is now in Handsfree Pairing Mode.
How do I enter the Headset Profile Pairing Mode?
Turn OFF Supertooth and wait 4 seconds
While pressing the answer button, turn ON the Supertooth. Keep the answer
button pressed for ten seconds until you hear a distinctive tone and the
Bluetooth indicator LED changes from blinking blue to alternately blinking red
and blue. The Supertooth is now in Handsfree Pairing Mode.
Press the answer button again for a short time to access Headset Pairing
Mode.
My Supertooth won't power on, what can I do?
If the battery is completely flat the Supertooth may have entered ‘Extremely
Low Power Mode’ and will not power on. Plug the 6volt Wall Charger or the
Cigarette Socket Charger into the 12volt input (trickle charge) for about an
hour then remove and insert into the Fast Charge input. The Supertooth will
now charge properly and then power on.
My Supertooth won't charge using the 6volt Wall Charger, what can I
do?
Try using the Cigarette Socket Charger to charge the device. If this works, it
may mean that you have a faulty Wall Charger. (Please contact us directly for
a new replacement Wall Charger to be sent out to you). If it does not work,
see the above question about ‘power on’.
