OVERVIEW
TheSuperToothisequipped withBluetoothand DigitalSignalProcessor thatallowwireless
communicationson devicessuchascellularphones.Thisisdesignedtobe atotallyportable
wireless handsfreekitwhichwillenabletheusertocommunicatefreelywithoutholding the phone.
ThiswillworkonanyBluetoothcellularphonesavailableprovidedthattheyrespecttheBluetooth
protocol.

TheSuperToothmustbe placedwhereinitsmicrophoneisdirectedtothe mouthoftheuser.The
SwivelArm[7]whichcanbe adjusted 0º,55º and 210º orientationsisdesignedtoeasilyaccess
themicrophoneincaseyouchangethepositionoftheSunVisor.

A. TURNINGON/OFFTHESUPERTOOTH
1.Toturnthe SuperToothON,justflipupthe swivelarm[7]at55ºposition.TheBluetooth
indicatorwillglow(blue blink).Thisindicatesthat thekit isready(standbymode).
Note:Atfirst timeuse,theuserhas topairtheSuperToothwithhisphone(see
SectionC).
2.Toturnthe SuperToothOFF,justflipdownthe swivelarm@0ºposition.TheBluetooth
Indicatorwillbecomeredthenwillturnoffafterasecond.
B. CHARGINGOPERATIONS
TheSuperToothcanbe charged inacar using theSuperToothSaverCharger or athome
usingSuperToothTravelcharger.
1. Connect thecharger’splug intothe ChargerInput [4]oftheSuperTooth.
ChargeIndicatorStatus:
SteadyRed: lowbatt
SteadyGreen:fullycharged
AlternateRed/Green: indicatescharging
2. Whenfullycharged, disconnect the charger.
C. PAIRING TOTHECELLULARPHONE(not possiblewhilechargingtheSuperTooth)
PairingwillcreatealinkorconnectionbetweenthetwoBluetoothdevices, theSuperToothand
yourphone.
1.Bringthecellularphoneatabout 20cmfromtheSuperTooth.
2.Ensurethat the SuperToothisOFF.
3.Turnit ONbyflipping upthe SwivelArm[7]to 55º position. The BluetoothIndicator[1]
willglow (blueblink).
4.Simultaneouslypressthe RejectButton[6]and Pick-Up/Hang-UpButton[9]for
approximately10secondsuntilyouhearadistinctivetone andthe Bluetoothindicator
LEDchangesfromblinkingbluetoalternateblinking red andblue.TheSuperToothis
nowin Handsfree pairing mode.
5.ShortlypressPick-Up/Hang-UpButton[9]forashort-timetoaccessHeadset
PairingMode.
6.Makeadevicediscoveryprocedure onyour phone.
7.Enter“0000”asthe passcode.Ifpairingissuccessful,thealternatingred/bluelightswill
stopand willchangetoplainblinkingblue.Cell phone keypadtonescanbe heardon
the SuperToothwhentheyare pressed.Note: Ifpairingfailed,repeatthisprocedure.
TheSuperToothispairedandreadytouse.
D. ANSWERING/RECEIVINGACALL
Whenthephoneisreceivingacall,aringtonewill be heardontheSuperToothonly.
1.Justshortlypress Pick-Up/Hang-UpButton[9]toanswerthecall.
2.Toterminatethecall,pressthe Pick-Up/Hang-UpButton[9].
E. MAKINGACALL
Normaldialing
1.Enterthecontactnumberandsend. Audiocanbeheardonthe SuperTooth.
2.Press Pick-Up/Hang-UpButton[9] toterminatethecall.
Voicedialing
1.Shortlypress Pick-Up/Hang-UpButton[9] toactivatevoicedialing.
2.Abeepwillthenbe heardontheSuperToothprompting theusertosaythename
ofthepersontocall.

Thisdevicecomplieswithpart15 oftheFCC rules.Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwo
conditions: (1)Thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterferenceand;(2) Thisdevicemustaccept
anyinterferencereceived, including interferencethat maycauseundesiredoperation.

“Thisdeviceand itsantenna(s)mustnotbeco-located oroperating inconjunctionwithanyother
antennaortransmitter.”
3.Saythename. The namewillbe played backtoyou.Thephonewillthenplacethe
callautomatically.Incasethecellphone doesnotrecognizethe namespoken, the
stepsabovemaybe repeated.
4.Press Pick-Up/Hang-UpButton[9] toterminatethe call.
Redialing(Handsfree profileonly)
Makealongpress onthe Pick-Up/Hang-UpButton[9].Audiowillbe heard onthe
SuperTooth.
F. AUDIO TRANSFER
Audiotransfer canbedonebyflipping upordownthe SwivelArm[7].
G. SETTINGTHEVOLUME
Setthevolumeusingthe VolumeControl[10].
1.Turnitclockwisetoincreasethevolume.
2.Turnitcounterclockwisetodecrease.
Note:Ifthevolumesetistoohigh,itcan causefeedback(whistlingsound),
echo,orbackgroundnoiseduringcallsonsomecellphones.
H. REJECTINGACALL(HandsfreeProfileonly)
Press RejectButton[6]torejectanincomingcall.
