• Place the mattress on top of the bed frame.
• ecure the mattress onto the bed frame by using the elastic tie down straps.
• Ensure the CPR and BOL TER RELEA E valve is in closed position before turning on the power.
• Position the Pump by its spring loaded hanger brackets over footboard of the bed.
• Take black hose connector and firmly push into position on the pump. A “clicking” sound will secure the connection.
• Plug in black Fowler ensor Cable. Be careful to ensure it clicks into place.
• Connect the power cord to the Pump and Press the red protector downward to secure the power cord.
• For patient transport, press “Auto Firm” button and wait until the mattress to be inflated. Disconnect the
hose from the Pump unit and put on the hose connector Transport Cap to keep the mattress inflated.
• Push “Mode” button for Alternation/Alternating Air Therapy Mode. elect Cycle Time: 10-30 minutes per cycle.
• For P T Auto-detection hold soft-firm button until light blinks. In approx 10 mins. pump will set based on patient’s weight.
• Two tatic Modes: tatic Care - After 20 mins. will fall back to alternation, tatic - remains static until setting is changed.
• To lock in any mode, press lock-out button.
• To release, hold lock out button until light disappears.
• If not using P T, select comfort setting based on average patient weight.
•In emergenc : Twist CPR and BOLSTER RELEASE Valve in either direction to release air from mattress.

CPR Bolster Release

Pump
1. Wash hands and place gloves on hand.
2. Place pump, hose on decontamination table or counter.
3. pray with disinfectant. Do not use phenol based disinfectants.
4. Wipe down pump and hose
5. Let pump and hose dry for approximately 15 minutes.
Mattress
1. Wash hands and use gloves.
2. Place mattress on decontamination table or counter.
3. pray with a Quaternary disinfectant. Do not use phenol based disinfectants.
4. Wipe down top of mattress with towel and let sit for approximately 15 minutes.
5. Turn mattress over and repeat the cleaning process.
6. Let the mattress hang dry in a well-ventilated area between 12 - 24 hours.
7. Covers can be removed and washed in a gentle cycle using disinfectants.
8. Put in dryer only in spin cycle to remove excess moisture, do not use heat.

4. Hose not connected to pump by bed rail or other obstruction
Power Failure 1. Power urge 1. Turn power switch off then on
2. Blown fuse 2. Change fuse
3. Power cord is not plugged in 3. Plug power cord into outlet
Pump Not Inflating 1. Pump in standby mode 1. Press operate button, select
auto firm, or alternate mode.
2. Not responding to mode 2. Turn Power switch on then off
to reset.
3. Filter is dirty 3. Remove filter located under the
carry handle of pump. Vacuum
or rinse under water to remove
excess dust.
4. Excess Noise 4. Return for authorized technical
service.
