Switch off ignition and disconnect the vehicle’s battery! Theinterface needsapermanent
12Vsource.Ifaccordingtofactoryrulesdisconnectingthebatteryistobeavoided,itis
usuallysufficienttoputthevehicleissleep-mode.Incase thesleep-modedoes notshow
success,disconnectthebatterywitharesistorlead.
Ifpowersource isnottakendirectlyfromthebattery,theconnectionhastobechecked
forbeingstart-up provenand permanent.

Afterfirstinstallationthevehiclemustgointosleep-modeinordertorecognizethenewly
attachedhardware.Afterre-connectingthebattery,lockthevehicleandwaitfor5-10
minutes.
Onsome vehicles,itmayhappenthattheblueLOGiC®interfaceisnot
recognizedbytheheadunit.Ifthephoneoptionisnotavailable,afterthe
activationasdescribedabove,takethefollowingsteps:
1. Switchonignition
2. Aftersystem start,connectpin7for2secondsto+12V
3. Switchoffignition,lockthevehicleand waitfor5-10 minutes

3.1. PairingtheblueLOGiC®Interface withamobilephone
Upto10mobilephonescansimultaneouslybepairedwiththeblueLOGiC®interface.Ifa
11th phoneispaired,theoldestentryisautomaticallydeleted.Insome cases,itbecomes
necessarytoputthevehicleinsleepmodetoenablecorrectfunctionofthe11th phone.
Forpairing,enablethepairingmodeofthemobilephone(seemanualofthemobilephone).
Search with the mobile phone for „blueLOGiC“or„CK5050N“ andconnectwithactivation
code „1234“.Some mobilephonestrytoconnecttotheblueLOGiC®interface withanother
functionas"handsfree".Checkthisattitudeandswitchtheadjustment to"handsfree"if
necessary(seemanualofthemobilephone).
IfamobilephonehadbeenpairedtotheblueLOGiC®interface (requirementisanoccurred
pairingwithamobilephone,seeabove),aconnectionwillbeautomaticallyestablishedas
soonasthemobilephoneisinreach.Ifmultiplepairedmobilephonesaresimultaneouslyin
reach,theblueLOGiC®interface willbeconnectedtothefirstphone.
Ifyouhaveconnectionproblemsbetweenmobilephoneand theblueLOGIC,first check at
theparrotwebsitewhetheranupdatefortheparrotchipisavailable.Thepartnumberof
theparrotchipcanbefound inthespecificationsattheend ofthemanual.
3.2. Loadingofphonebook
Aftereachestablishment ofconnectiontothemobilephone,thephonebookofthemobile
phonewillbeloadedtothevehicleinfotainment.
Depending on the mobile phone either it will be loaded from the phone’s memory or the
SIMcard.Thisprocesscantakeafewminutes.Ifthephonebookisnoornotcompletely
loaded,itmightbenecessarytocopythecontactsfromtheSIM-cardtothemobilephone
memory!
Some mobilephonesdonotautomaticallyloadthephonebooktotheinfotainment,butthe
sendingmustbemanuallyinitiated(theprocedurevariesdependingonthemobilephone,
z.B. “send phone book to Bluetooth”).
The manual procedure must be repeated for refreshment if the mobile phone’s contacts
havebeenedited.
ThememoryofblueLOGiC®interface cansaveabout1000 callnumbers.

Settings oftheblueLOGiC®interface canalsobechangedby
dialingsettingcodesinthevehicletelephonemode.Invehicles
withnavigationsystem itispossibletochangeitinthevehicle
infotainment’s menu under “Top 8”, too. Calleraudiovolume,
Ringingtonevolume and microphonesensitivitycanbeadjusted
separately.Theinterface canberesettofactorydefaultsand
updatesoftheParrotchipsetcanbeinitiated.Toexecuteafunction,justdialthe
corresponding code from the below table like a phone number and confirm with “pick-up”.

To thecodesforvolume andsensitivityitisnecessarytoaddtwodigitsforthedesiredvalue
(01 min. to 15 max.). For example dial “+002112” to setthecalleraudiovolume tolevel12.
After dialing a code, the navigation will confirm with “call failed”.
System updatesoftheParrotchipsetarepossiblethroughBluetooth®viaPC.
3.4. A2DPaudiostreamingthroughCD-changeremulation
WhentheCD-changeremulationoftheblueLOGiC®interfaceisentered,itispossibleto
listentomusicfilesonthefactorysoundsystem whichareplayedbythemobilephone.The
availableoptionstocontroltheplayfunctionsofthemobilephonedependverymuchon
themobilephone.Somephonesdonotsupportall ofthebelowdescribedfunctions,for
exampleiPhones®donotsupportanytrackskipping.
Full functionsarestartingandstoppingtheplayback,nexttrackandprevioustrack.
IfthevehicleCD-changer mode of the vehicle’s navigation/radio system is activated, the
A2DPplaybackisautomaticallystarted(whileavirtualCD1isshown).WhentheCD-
changermodeisexited,theA2DPplaybackisstopped.Theplaybackispausedduringphone
callactivity.Track skipping is possible with the “next” and “back” keys of the head-unitor
thesteeringwheel.
Ifduringplayback,Track1ofthevirtualCDisconfirmed,amenuopens.Usetheoption
“random” of this menu to stop playback or „SCAN“ to start playback.
ThevolumeleveloftheA2DPcanbeadjustedinthemobilephonessettings.
