AIRCRAFT DESCRIPTION
CURTAINS
This section describes the curtains installed in the aircraft.
Cockpit Curtain
WARNING: During taxi, takeoff, and landing, the cockpit curtain must be fastened in the stowed position.
Failure to observe this warning may result in injury to cabin occupants.
The cockpit curtain separates the cockpit from the entry area. When deployed, snaps attach the cockpit curtain between
the forward cockpit bulkhead and the galley to conceal the cockpit from view. The curtain stows in the forward
wardrobe.
Entry Area Acoustic Curtain
WARNING: During taxi, takeoff, and landing, the entry area acoustic curtain must be fastened in the stowed
position. Failure to observe this warning may result in injury to cabin occupants.
The entry area acoustic curtain separates the entry area from the main entry door. When deployed, the entry area
acoustic curtain reduces flight noise in the galley. The curtain is stowed inside a compartment on the aft side of the
wardrobe cabinet.
