IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The machine is for indoor use only. Plug the machine into an easily accessible
outlet. To avoid electric shocks, the laminator must not be used in humid or wet
condions and water must never be allowed to come into contact with the
machine, the connecon cable or the socket.
● Ensure the machine is on a stable surface.
● Keep the machine away from heat and water sources.
● Turn off the machine aer each use.
● Unplug the machine when not in use for extended periods of me.
● Keep away from pets, while in use.
● The power cord must not come into contact with hot surfaces.
● Don’t leave power cord hanging from cupboards or shelves.
● The device must not be used if the power cord is damaged.
● Don‘t aempt to open or otherwise repair the machine.
● Don’t exceed the machines quoted performance.
● Don’t allow children to use this machine.
● Don’t laminate sharp or metal objects (eg: staples,paper clips).
● The laminator is not intended for commercial or industrial applicaons.
● Aer 2 hours of operaon the appliance must be allowed to cool down
for at least half an hour (Switch off).
● This equipment is not intended for use by children Avoid touching the media
feed opening with the hands, clothing or hair. Unplug this equipment when
not in use for an extended period of me. Hazardous moving part is in this
equipment, keep body parts away from moving parts .
● This equipment is not suitable for use in locaons where childern are likely to
be present.

Only use special films designed specifically for laminang. Test laminate scrap
sheets and set the machine before final laminang. Remove staples and other
metal arcles prior to laminang.
Heat-sensive documents (eg: ckets, ultrasounds etc) cannot be laminated on
hot sengs. Don’t laminate an empty pouch.

1. Turn the machine on by seng the power switch ❶ to the “I” posion.
The green power indicator light ❷ and the “ 3 mil” indicator light ❸ are
lighng up.
2. If the machine is not in use, set the power switch ❶ to the “0” posion and
the power indicator (green light) ❷ is off.
3. Use the selector buon ❹ to select the desired pouch type.
COLD laminang:
HOT laminang:
Press the selector buon❹ and selector “COLD”❸,and the“COLD” indicator
light❸ starts to flash blue. At this me,the machine enters the warmup cycle.
As soon as the indicator light “COLD” ❸glows permanently the machine is
ready for cold laminang.
Hint: For cold laminang special laminang pouches have to be used, which are
not part of the included starter pack.
3 mil pouches: the green indicator light❸ for “3 mil” starts to flash green as
soon as the power switch is set to the “⼀”posion. At this me,the machine
enters the warmup cycle. As soon as the indicator light “3 mil”❸ glows
permanently the machine is ready and laminang of 3 mil pouches can begin.
5 mil pouches: Press the selector buon ❹ and select “5 mil”, and the “5 mil”
indicator light ❸ starts to flash green. At this me, the machine enters the
warm-up cycle. As soon as the indicator light “5 mil” ❸ glows permanently the
machine is ready and laminang of 5 mil pouches can begin.
Note:
To switch from 5 mil to 3 mil or to COLD laminang press the selector buon
❹ to choose the desired laminang method. The desired mode indicator ❸
will start to flash. It will take several minutes to cool down the device.
Laminang of the desired pouch type may only start if the respecve indicator
light ❸ glows permanently. Otherwise the laminated document could be
damaged which may also lead to damage to the machine itself.

4. Lay the document to be laminated into a laminang pouch of the appropriate
size. Make sure that all corners of the document have at least two millimeters
of space from the edge of the laminang pouch.
5. Now lay the laminang pouch, sealed side first on the pouch tray ❽ .
Adapt the pouch posioning aid ❾ to the pouch size used and push the
pouch slowly into the pouch input slot ❺ . Guide the pouch into the laminator
unl it is gripped and pulled in by the rollers.
6. The completed laminated pouch is ejected from the pouch ejector slot ❻ .
Make sure there is enough free space in front of the device to let the pouch
exit without obstrucon. Allow the laminated pouch to cool down for at least
one minute before touching it.
Jammed pouches
Maintenance and cleaning
In case the pouch may be pulled in at an angle or jam itself inside the device
please proceed as follows.
1. Press the an-blocking switch ❼ and the transport of the pouch will be
stopped.
2. The laminate pouch is not pulled in any further.
3. Remove the laminang pouch by hand.
4. Re-start the laminang process.
Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet. Allow the unit to cool down. The
outside of the unit can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or
flammable materials for cleaning. To clean the internal parts of the unit from
possible contaminaon, a mae cardboard of approx. 250 g/m or a special
blong paper can be used. Run the sheets through the warm machine to
remove any residue from the rollers.

The warranty for this appliance is for 12 months from the date of purchase. The
appliance has been manufactured with care and examined before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim,
please make contact by telephone with our Customer Service.
The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, but not
for transport demage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g.
buons or baeries.
This product is for domes c use only and is not intended for commercial use. The
warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and
internal tampering not carried out by our autorised service branch.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty
period is not extended by repairs made under the warranty. This applies also to
replaced and repaired parts.
