Safety instructions
Read all the safety and
general instructions. Fail-
ure to observe the safety
and general instructions
may result in electric shock,
fire and/or serious injury.
Save all safety warnings and instructions for future ref-
erence.
The term battery is used in these instructions to mean all
original Bosch eBike rechargeable battery packs.
uRead and observe the safety warnings and directions
contained in all the eBike system operating instruc-
tions and in the operating instructions of your eBike.
uCarefully cover the charging socket with the flap after
charging the eBike. This ensures that no dirt or water
gets in.
Do not expose the charger to rain or wet
conditions. If water enters a charger, there is
a risk of electric shock.
uCharge only Bosch lithium-ion batteries that are ap-
proved for use in eBikes. The battery voltage must
match the battery charging voltage of the charger.
Otherwise there is a danger of fire and explosion.
uKeep the charger clean. Dirt poses a risk of electric
shock.
uAlways check the charger, cable and plug before use.
Stop using the charger if you discover any damage. Do
not open the charger. Damaged chargers, cables and
plugs increase the risk of electric shock.
uDo not operate the charger on an easily ignited sur-
face (e.g. paper, textiles, etc.) or in a flammable envir-
onment. There is a risk of fire due to the charger heating
up during operation.
uTake care if you touch the charger while it is charging.
Wear protective gloves. The charger can get very hot,
especially when the ambient temperature is high.
uThe battery may give off fumes if it becomes damaged
or is used incorrectly. Ensure the area is well ventil-
ated and seek medical attention should you experi-
ence any adverse effects. The fumes may irritate the
respiratory system.
uThe eBike battery must not be left unattended while
charging.
uChildren or persons who, owing to their physical,
sensory or mental limitations or to their lack of experi-
ence or knowledge, are not capable of safely operat-
ing the charger may only use this charger under super-
vision or after having been instructed by a responsible
person. Otherwise, there is a danger of operating errors
and injuries.
uA sticker in English is adhered to the bottom of the char-
ger (marked(4) in the diagram on the graphics page).

In addition to the functions shown here, changes to software
relating to troubleshooting and functional modifications may
be introduced at any time.
The Bosch eBike chargers are intended exclusively for char-
ging Bosch eBike batteries and must not be used for any
other purpose.
The Bosch eBike charger depicted here is compatible with
Bosch eBike batteries from the new system generationthe
smart system.

Individual illustrations in these operating instructions may
differ slightly from the actual conditions depending on the

Operation
Start-up
Connecting the charger to the mains (see figure A)
uPay attention to the mains voltage. The voltage of the
power source must match the voltage specified on the
rating plate of the charger. Chargers marked 230 V can
also be operated at 220 V.
Plug the device connector (3) of the power cable into the
device socket (2) on the charger.
Connect the power cable (country-specific) to the mains.
Charging the removed battery (see figure B)
Switch the battery off and remove it from its holder on the
eBike. When doing so, read and observe the operating in-
structions of the battery.
uEnsure the battery is placed on clean surfaces only.
Avoid getting dirt, e.g. sand or soil, in the charging socket
and contacts in particular.
Plug the charging connector (5) of the charger into the
socket (6) on the battery.
Charging the battery on the bike (see figures C andD)
Switch the battery off. Clean the cover of the charging
socket (7). Avoid getting dirt, e.g. sand or soil, in the char-
ging socket and contacts in particular. Lift the cover of the
charging socket (7) and plug the charging connector (5) into
the charging socket (6).
uThere is a risk of fire due to the charger heating up
during charging. Ensure the battery on the bike is
completely dry and placed on a fireproof surface be-
fore charging. If this is not possible, remove the battery
from the holder and charge it in a more suitable location.
When doing so, read and observe the operating instruc-
tions of the battery.
Charging process
The charging process begins as soon as the charger is con-
nected to the battery or charging socket on the bike and to
the mains.
Note: The charging process is only possible when the tem-
perature of the eBike battery is within the permitted char-
ging temperature range.
Note: The drive unit is deactivated during the charging pro-
cess.
The battery can be charged with and without the on-board
computer. When charging without the on-board computer,
the charging procedure can be observed on the battery
charge indicator.
When the on-board computer is connected, a charging noti-
fication appears on the display.
The state of charge is displayed by the battery charge indic-
ator(8) on the battery and by the bars on the on-board com-
puter.
The LEDs on the battery charge indicator(8) flash during the
charging process. Each solid illuminated LED represents ap-
proximately 20% of the charging capacity. The flashing LED
indicates the next 20% currently charging.
Once the eBike battery is fully charged, the LEDs go out im-
mediately and the on-board computer is switched off. The
charging process is terminated. The state of charge can be
displayed for5 seconds by pressing the on/off button(9) on
the eBike battery.
Disconnect the charger from the mains and the battery from
the charger.
When the battery is disconnected from the charger, the bat-
tery is automatically switched off.

Note: If you have charged the battery on the bike, carefully
close the charging socket (6) with the cover (7) after char-
ging, so that no dirt or water can get in.
If the charger is not disconnected from the battery after
charging, after a few hours the charger will switch itself back
on, check the state of charge of the battery and begin the
charging procedure again if necessary.
Errors – causes and corrective measures

temperature range has been reached.

ently lit depending on the state of charge of the eBike bat-
tery).
Contact an authorised bike dealership.
Charging not possible (no indicator on battery)
Connector not attached properly Check all connections.

Plug socket, cable or charger defective Check the mains voltage, have the charger checked over by a
bike dealership.

ship.

Disposal
Chargers, accessories and packaging should be recycled in
an environmentally friendly manner.
Do not dispose of chargers along with household waste.
Check that your personal data has been deleted from the
device.
Please return Bosch eBike components that are no longer
usable free of charge to an authorised bicycle dealer or to a
recycling facility.

てください。
本取扱説明書で使用されている用語「バッテ
リー」は、ボッシュ純正の電動アシスト自転車用
バッテリーのことを指しています。
uお使いの電動アシスト自転車の取扱説明書に記
載されている安全上の注意事項と指示にすべて
目を通し、必ず順守してください。
u自転車の充電が終わったら、充電プラグ差込口
のカバーをしっかり閉じてください。これによ
り、汚れや水の侵入を防げます。
充電器に雨水などがかからないように
してください。水分が充電器の内部に
浸入してしまうと、感電する危険が高
まります。
uボッシュ製電動アシスト自転車専用のリチウム
イオンバッテリー以外は充電しないでくださ
い。バッテリー電圧は充電器の充電電圧と一致
する必要があります。一致していない場合に
は、火災や爆発につながるおそれがあります。
u充電器を清潔に保ってください。汚れている
と、感電する危険が高まります。
u充電器を使用する際は毎回、事前に電源コード
と電源プラグを点検してください。充電器が損
傷している場合は決して使用しないでくださ
い。充電器をご自分で分解しないでください。

ます。その場合には新鮮な空気を取り入れ、問
題がある場合には医師の診断を受けてくださ
い。煙が気道を刺激する可能性があります。
u電動アシスト自転車用バッテリーを充電したま
ま放置しないでください。
uお子様、精神・知覚・知的障害のある方、なら
びに経験や知識が十分でない方は、監視のもと
で使用するか、または充電器の安全な取扱いに
関して指導を受けている場合にのみ使用してく
ださい。これを守らないと、誤操作や負傷につ
ながるおそれがあります。
u充電器の下側に注意事項が英語で記載された
シール（図のページの(4)）があり、その内容は
以下の通りとなります。
• 使用前には、必ず取り扱い説明書をお読みください。
• 指定のボッシュ リチウムイオンバッテリー以外の充電に使用しないでください。
• 屋内専用品です。雨に濡らしたり、湿気の多い場所で使用しないでください。
• 燃えやすい物の側で、使用しないでください。• 分解や、改造をしないでください。
• 使用前にはコードの損傷を確認し、コードが損傷した物は使用しないでください。

用途
本書に記載された機能のほか、不具合の修正や機
能の変更のためにソフトウェアが更新される場合
があります。
ボッシュの電動アシスト自転車用充電器は、ボッ
シュの電動アシスト自転車用バッテリーを充電す
るためにのみ使用することができ、他の用途には
使用できません。
記載されているボッシュの電動アシスト自転車用
充電器は、ボッシュの新世代のシステムthe smart
systemの電動アシスト自転車用バッテリーに対応
しています。
各部の名称
記載のコンポーネントの番号は、本書冒頭のペー
ジにある構成図の番号に対応しています。

り、他の機器では使用できません。
操作
使用方法
充電器を電源に接続する（図Aを参照）
u電源電圧に注意してください！充電器のラベル
に表示されている電圧の電源を使用してくださ
い。120Vと記載されている充電器の場合は、
100Vでも使用することができます。
電源コードのACプラグ(3)を充電器のACプラグ差
込口(2)に差し込みます。
（国別仕様の）電源コードを電源に接続します。
取り外したバッテリーを充電する（図Bを参照）
バッテリーをオフにし、電動アシスト自転車のホ
ルダーからバッテリーを取り外します。その際、
バッテリーの取扱説明書をよく読み、その指示を
守ってください。
uバッテリーは必ず清潔な場所に置いてくださ
い。充電プラグ差込口と端子が砂や土などで汚
れないようにしてください。
充電器の充電プラグ(5)をバッテリーの差込口(6)
に差し込みます。
バッテリーを電動アシスト自転車に搭載した状態
で充電する（図CおよびDを参照）
バッテリーをオフにします。充電プラグ差込口の
カバー(7)を清掃します。充電プラグ差込口と端子
が砂や土などで汚れないようにしてください。充
電プラグ差込口のカバー(7)を外し、充電プラグ
(5)を充電プラグ差込口(6)に差し込みます。
u充電中に充電器が発熱し、火災が発生するおそ
れがあります。自転車用バッテリーの充電は、
周囲に燃えるもののない、乾燥した場所で行っ
てください。内容を順守できない場合には、ホ
ルダーからバッテリーを取り外し、より適した
場所で充電を行ってください。その際、バッテ
リーの取扱説明書をよく読み、その指示を守っ
てください。
充電プロセス
充電プロセスは、充電器がバッテリー、自転車の
充電プラグ差込口および電源に接続されるとすぐ
に始まります。
注意事項：充電プロセスは、電動アシスト自転車
用バッテリーの温度が充電可能温度範囲内にある
場合にのみ開始できます。
注意事項：充電中、ドライブユニットは作動しな
い状態になります。
バッテリーは、オンボードコンピューターの有無
に関わらず充電することができます。オンボード
コンピューターが接続されていない場合、充電プ
ロセスは充電レベルインジケーターで確認するこ
とができます。
オンボードコンピューターが接続されている場合
には、対応するメッセージがディスプレイに表示
されます。

充電レベルは、バッテリーの充電レベルインジ
ケーター(8)とオンボードコンピューターのバー表
示で分かります。
充電中、残量表示(8)を示すバッテリーのLEDが点
灯します。点灯したLEDはそれぞれ約20%の容量
が充電されたことを表しています。点滅している
LEDは、続く20%の容量が充電中であることを示
しています。
電動アシスト自転車用バッテリーが完全に充電さ
れると、すぐにLEDが消灯し、オンボードコン
ピューターがオフになり、充電が終わります。電
動アシスト自転車用バッテリーのON/OFFスイッ
チ(9)を押すと、充電レベルが約5秒間表示されま
す。
充電器の電源を外し、充電器とバッテリーの接続
を解除します。
充電器とバッテリーの接続が解除されると、バッ
テリーは自動的にオフになります。
注意事項：バッテリーを自転車に装着した状態で
充電した場合には、充電を終えたら充電プラグ差
込口(6)にカバー(7)を丁寧に被せ、汚れや水が浸
入しないようにしてください。
充電し終えた後も充電器とバッテリーを接続した
ままでいると、数秒後に充電器が再びオンになっ
てバッテリーの充電レベルをチェックし、状況に
よっては再度充電が始まります。

故障かな？と思ったら – 原因と対処
原因 対処
バッテリーが損傷している
バッテリーのLEDが2個点滅します。
自転車の販売店にお問い合わせください。
バッテリーの温度が高すぎる、または低すぎる
バッテリーのLEDが3個点滅します。
充電可能温度範囲になるまで、バッテリーと充電器
の接続を外してください。
バッテリーが充電に適した温度になったことを確認
してから、バッテリーを再び充電器につないでくだ
さい。
充電器で充電できない。
LEDが1つも点灯しません（電動アシスト自転車用
バッテリーの充電レベルに応じて、通常は1つ以上
のLEDが点灯する）。
自転車の販売店にお問い合わせください。
充電プロセスが始まらない（バッテリーの表示もな

電源プラグが正しく差し込まれていない プラグを確認してください。

u請仔細詳讀並遵守所有 eBike 系統操作說明書以
及您的 eBike 操作說明書中的安全注意事項和指
示。
u自行車充電後請小心地用護蓋蓋上充電插座。如
此才能確保不會有髒污或水進入。
不得將電池充電器暴露在雨中或潮濕環
境中。若水滲入電池充電器中，會有觸
電風險。
u僅可對核可適用於 eBike 的博世鋰離子電池進行
充電。充電電池的電壓必須與電池充電器的充電
電壓相符。否則有失火與爆炸之虞。
u電池充電器請保持清潔。髒污亦有造成人員觸電
之虞。
u每次使用前，請仔細檢查電池充電器、線材及插

上的錯誤，進而使人員受傷。

標籤（在詳解圖上標記為編號 (4)），其內容如

u不可使用轉接電源線組如延長線
使用前請參閱手冊關於安全操作，有觸電危險，僅限室內使用， 防止接觸液體和淋雨。

開始使用
將電池充電器連接到電源（請參考圖 A）
u注意電源的電壓！電源的電壓必須和電池充電器
銘牌上標示的電壓數據一致。標示為 120 V 的電
池充電器亦可接上 100 V 電源。
請將電源線的電池充電器插頭 (3) 插入電池充電器
上的電池充電器插座 (2)。
請將電源線（視國別而有所差異）連接到電源。
為取下的充電電池充電（請參考圖 B）
請將充電電池關閉並從 eBike 上的固定裝置中取
出。請詳讀並遵守充電電池操作說明書中的相關事
項。
u請僅將充電電池置放於乾淨的表面上。請尤其避
免如沙子或土造成充電插座及觸點髒汙。

請關閉充電電池。請清潔充電插座的護蓋 (7)。請尤
其避免如沙子或土造成充電插座及觸點髒汙。請掀
起充電插座的護蓋 (7) 並將充電插頭 (5) 插入充電
插座 (6) 中。
u電池充電器在充電時升溫會有起火危險。請僅在
防火處及乾燥狀態下為自行車上的充電電池充
電。若無法做到這一點，請將充電電池從固定裝
置中取出並於適合的地點為其充電。請詳讀並遵
守充電電池操作說明書中的相關事項。
充電
一旦電池充電器與充電電池或自行車上的充電插座
以及電源連接，就會開始充電。
提示：僅當 eBike 充電電池的溫度介於許可的充電
溫度範圍時，才能進行充電。
提示：充電期間驅動單元將停用。
有無車載電腦皆可為充電電池充電。沒有車載電腦
時，可以從電池充電狀態指示器上觀察充電程序。
連接車載電腦時，螢幕上會出現相應的訊息。
充電狀態會藉由充電電池上的電池充電狀態指示器
(8) 和車載電腦上的充電條顯示。
充電期間充電電池上充電狀態指示器 (8) 的 LED 會
亮起。每個持續亮起的 LED 對應約 20 % 的充電容
量。閃爍的 LED 表示充電中的下一個 20 %。
當 eBike 充電電池完全充飽時，LED 會立即熄滅且
車載電腦將關閉。隨即結束充電。透過按壓 eBike
充電電池上的開關按鍵 (9) 即可顯示電量 5秒鐘。
請斷開電池充電器與電源並將充電電池與電池充電
器斷開。
將充電電池與電池充電器斷開時充電電池會自動關
閉。
提示：若您是在自行車上充電，充電後請小心地用
護蓋 (7) 蓋上充電插座 (6)，以免髒污或水進入。
若充電後未將電池充電器與充電電池斷開，電池充
電器會自行於幾小時後再次打開並檢查充電電池的
電量，必要時會再次開始充電。

充電電池溫度過高或過低
充電電池上閃爍三個 LED。
將充電電池從電池充電器斷開，直到回到充電溫度範
圍。
請待充電電池溫度回復到充電溫度範圍時再將其重新
連接到電池充電器。
電池充電器未充電。
沒有任何 LED 閃爍（不論 eBike 充電電池的充電狀
態為何，皆會持續亮起一個或多個 LED）。
洽詢授權自行車經銷商。
無法進行充電（充電電池上無顯示）
未正確插入插頭 檢查所有插頭連接。
充電電池上的觸點髒污 小心地清潔充電電池上的觸點。
插座、電線或電池充電器故障 檢查電源電壓，將電池充電器交由自行車經銷商檢
查。
充電電池損壞 洽詢授權自行車經銷商。
